It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.
It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.
So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.
I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.
Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.
This is the first time I ever watch the OP from start to finish and I squeal when I saw this:
So I'm not going to skip the OP from now on anymore =3
Soi Fon's bankai is so powerful she has to tie herself to the buildings with the ginjotan. The impact from her torpedo sent everyone with much lesser reiatsu (including herself) flying. With that much power it should have scratched Barragan, yes? Who knows. Because they switched the fight to Stark and Shunsui. But at least we know now that Oomaeda is not as useless as he appeared to be. He's a good cushion.
The fight between Stark and Shunsui is a snorefest. How many episode has it been? Seriously they could have at least try to make this entertaining but they keep sizing each other out, it turned into a farce. Even when Stark resurrected. I remember being pretty confused when I read the manga about these two bankai/resurrection. Hopefully the anime will makes me less confuse. LOL
When others split their hollow power, they turned it into a zanpaktou. It was different with Stark. He splits into two different bodies. I guess it fits him. He represent loneliness, doesn't he? So in order to release, he has to absorb Linette. Kinky. Heh.
Once again, the revealed of Stark's resurrection kinda has less effect on me, unlike when I first saw it in the manga. Maybe this is why my friend avoided spoilers. I remember laughing about it though since it was the first time I ever saw gun/pistol in Bleach, complete with a cowboy costume. Not to mention that it reminded me of Kidd from Soul Eater what with his pistol can communicate and such. How unoriginal. And I literally did a facepalm when Stark started fingering Linette's butt >_>
Stark was trying to force Shunsui to go into bankai. He keeps firing shot after shot of cero from his pistol but Stark remained in his shikai form. Must be very frustrating for Stark. The fight was less boring when Ukitake finally interfered. So I guess his shikai can absorb the enemy's power/cero and used it as an attack. Recycling is good. I approved.
Also, interestingly, Shunsui said Hitsugaya might surpassed him in a hundred years or so. That is quite a compliment if you asked me.
This is the ending that I have been looking forward to all week: Working!! episode 13, where the date supposed to happen! Why am I the one getting nervous about this? LOL
Oh yeah because I remember looking at the preview from the previous episode. It seems like Inami and Takanashi didn't get to have their date and that kinda makes me feels restless. I WANT Inami and Takanashi to be on an official date, by hook or by crook.
So I was relieved when Takanashi turned up for the date.
But whoa... I did not expect Takanashi to cross-dress again... although knowing the people at Wagnaria, I really shouldn't be surprised. Yamada "accidentally" spilled a bucket of water on Takanashi and Souma "accidentally" has a change of clothes for him. Yep, you guess it: Kotori's clothes.
Obviously there's pros and cons with Takanashi being Kotori. The pros
Inami wouldn't punch him to death
They can be in close proximity without Takanashi have to worry about his life on the line
The cons
They don't look like they are on a date. Which I am not happy about
As much as I love Kotori, I love the bespectacled Takanashi even more =3
This made them lesbian
At one point of their date, they are this || close from holding hands. I kinda feel sorry for Inami though since we all knew that Takanashi is oblivious with what is really going on at the moment or how big does this date mean to Inami. If his obliviousness wasn't enough, their moments were ruined by puppies or a flying saucer.
It is one thing after the other. But in the end I was glad that Takanashi has slowly became aware of his feelings towards Inami, even though he came up with such pathetic excuse to cover that feeling. In denial.
*facepalm*
Luckily though Inami has a really good filtering system. All she heard was the word "cute". LOL I wish I have that ability XD
Anyway while they were having a date, Satou is generous enough to keep Taneshima, Yamada and Souma away. He promised to treat Yamada to a meal and forced Souma to buy clothes for Yamada. Ah, what a good person he is.
Remember the mysterious black haired girl who wears glasses and is always around in the background? She's no longer a mysterious subject.
At first I thought she is Yamada since that girl have enough props to impostor Obama. Apparently not. She is just a "normal" girl who tries hard to be normal. Heh
So that's it for Working!! This show is easily the first on my favorite list for Spring. I really hope they will be a second season (or more). This show is just of awesome. It makes me want to have babies with Takanashi and produce cute Takanashi Jr =3
You guys probably know how much I like blood and weaponry especially that of a katana right? I love violence in anime/manga. They promised so much blood and action. They make me drools.
Hence why I love reading Zanbara. I first read it back in February and kinda forget about it until I check my mango list again. Zanbara is created by Katagiri Ikumi. The same mangaka that collaborate with author Ninomiya Ai that created another josei Are You Alice?
Ichiyo and Akehiko
Zanbara is set during the Bakumatsu period so that in itself is interesting because stuff like this always reminded me of Amatsuki, which is one of my favorite manga of all time.
Like most manga that falls under the josei category, this one is full of bishie too. The two protagonists however are still underage. They are both 15. Wait, 15?! Ichigo is 15 but he looks like it was legal to rape him. These two kids definitely looks like shouta. Crap, my inner shoutacon is beaming ^_^
*spoilers up to chapter 5*
These two brothers (by adoption) are always competing with each other. From fighting to the smallest chores. Ichiyo is the serious one while Akehiko is the easy going one. Ichiyo often forget stuff and Akehiko will remind him about it. Ichiyo is a sleepy head and Akehiko is the energetic one that will carry Ichiyo when he's asleep. Oh and they are both ill-tempered. Perfect balance.
One day a thief got into their house. As expected the two of then chased the running thief and split up hoping that they cornered him. That they did but they were only armed with wooden sword while the thief has a katana. That's when they met Okita Soji. Yep, you guessed it. He's from the Shinsengumi. Again, what's with the name? Is it some kind of like a designation? Anyway, Okita might looks like he's a pansy but he's fast and good with the katana *squeals*
Obviously Ichiyo and Akehiko was amazed by Okita's skill and that's why they want to join the Shinsengumi. They want to be the best and the strongest. I have no doubt that they can.
The truth is, the family was hiding Ichiyo so when trouble appeared (someone broke into their house), the family decided to send them both away to the capital as a way to protect them. They took this opportunity to visit the Shinsegumi.
They met with lots of different people and even ended up being a bodyguard at one point as they searched for their destination. Ichiyo also begin to change. He became more solemn and this made Akehiko laden with worries. He made me worried to. Uguuu~
So yeah, I'm not going to spoil anything else. There's a lot of chapters coming up and I look forward to it. Reading Zanbara is fun. It has you on the edge but calms you down with the subtle humor and the ongoing banter by the two protagonists.
I so approved of this josei.
story 8/10 art 10/10 characters 10/10 enjoyment 10/10 overall 9/10
When I checked my first impression for Angel Beats! , I couldn't believe that most of us didn't have anything nice to say about this show. Even I was skeptical. I compared it with porn for fuck sake but I didn’t outright hate it. I said that it was a decent show but definitely not the best one for Spring 2010. Well, I was wrong and I stand corrected. Angel Beats! ended up among the few shows that I look forward to every week for this season.
I guess I have to thank Monroe for this. He was pretty adamant that I watch this series so he has someone he can talk to. I wasn't keen at first, especially when everyone says that this series is trying to imitate The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. As a fan of Haruhi, I obviously have my reservations. Thank goodness, though it has similarities, it is not an exact copy.
Angel Beats! is about a bunch of teenagers who found themselves dead and are living in the afterlife. Most of the students are the NPC while a small portion of the students fight to keep their personality and memories from their previous life. In other words, they have regrets. This small portion of students formed a brigade and they are lead by Yuri (this is where the similarities with Haruhi end). They believe that they have to fight the Angel/Kanade in order not to disappear. This is where normal ends and cue supernatural. They are able to make guns out of clay and so on. It kind of over the top but done with subtlety that you barely notice. The story took a different turn halfway through and that is where you will start to be very appreciative of this show. It throws something different in almost every episode though there is still something to link the plot together.
The involvement of Maeda Jun has been discussed a lot. I have a hate-love relationship with his previous works. I love the beginning for both Clannad (the first season, I hate the ending too much to bother with second season) and Kanon but totally hate the ending. I was afraid that he will do the same thing to Angel Beats! Guess what? He did although it is not as chronic as those two series I mentioned earlier. He has the knack of pairing the male lead with a female that I like the least (read: borderline hate). Having said that, I love the roller-coaster journey from total happiness to sorrow, all which is done in one episode. You'll laugh your ass off only to feel extremely touched afterward, all in a blink of an eye. Some people may not like the abrupt transition but I for one love it.
Reason number 23962 of why I like Angel Beats! is because of the brigade members. They have different personalities and most of the times, they are the reason why Angel Beats! turned out to be so great. Their antics are endless and it will keep you guessing. What next? So yeah, you'll be thoroughly entertained. This is guaranteed.

Otonashi started out as a blah character. He was so ordinary compared to the other more colorful characters in the brigade. He was completely developed till the very end. The other brigade members received the same treatment although half of them were left out (though they deserved to be developed further). The only other character that gets a lot of development is Kanade. She changed from a stoic emotionless girl to someone who hums song and has springs in her footsteps. Everyone's character development has something to do with Otonashi though so basically the other characters are evolved around him.
But let's talk about my favorite characters. Hinata started out as the gay partner for Otonashi, then Yui's arc enemy (or seemingly so) before becoming one of the most gentlemanly characters in anime history. I knew he's special the first time I laid my eyes on him. It was love at first sight. Besides Hinata, I also like the English-speaking, nonsensical TK. He is unique and needs no introduction. He is definitely one of the most memorable characters in anime fandom because of that. You can either hate or love TK. No in between. Who could forget episode 8 when he does that lookout dance. He's so random like that. As for female character, it has to be Yuri. Funny though because at first I really don't like her that much but as the story comes to an end, I found myself rooting for her. I guess I must have been attracted to her qualities and personality: she is strong and don't pull the "I'm the damsel in distress" bullshit. That's my kind of girl.
If you read my episodic review, you will notice that I don't like Kanade much. I have only one problem with her. I was fine with her when she has almost zero personality. Once Otonashi got attached to her, she changed. This was when I started to dislike Otonashi too. I guess you guys would call it character development. I called it interference. Sure it has something to do with the whole plot, the way it developed around their friendship but it bothers me to no end. This is all Maeda's doing...
So anyway, if someone asked me if I want a season 2 of Angel Beats! I would have said yes just so that I can see what Hinata, TK and Yuri are up to. After all, we didn't get the chance to send TK off =(
Music and sound. They are one of this show strongest points (how many strong points does this show have?!). They timed and chose the background music for certain moments perfectly which is a big help in setting up the emotional scenes as well as the funny parts. The OP and ED are good and the songs from Girls Dead Monster becomes talk of the anime fandom. K-ON! can learn a thing or two from both the song choice and animations during the performance. My song sang by Iwasawa imo is pretty haunting and memorable on its own.
The seiyuu too did an excellent job. I have high hopes for Otonashi when I found out that Kamiya Hiroshi does his voice. However Otonashi as a character at the end of the show ruined it for me. This doesn't mean that the seiyuus are at fault. If anything, they did a great job for invoking such reaction from me. They gave everything they have to put personality and attitude to the characters which give them life of their own. Kudos.
The art and animation however are decent. I've seen better. It was because of the arts that I initially compared it to hentai. I believe P.A Works could have done a better job. I mean, I adore the animation and the arts in True Tears so it is not like they aren't capable to do so. Besides Aniplex is one of the producers. They have plenty of resources, I am sure. Or maybe Angel Beats! is such a success because of the lack in this department. For example, I thought in some of the episodes, the quality of the animation was top notch, especially when there is blood involved.
Well, I guess it is obvious that I enjoy Angel Beats! At least up to episode 9 I did. Maybe the reason I was able to enjoy it is because I have learned to watch it at face value without questioning the facts and logics. Granted that the ending was a phailed attempt for tear fest, the other episodes easily make up for that. I managed to complete it on time, didn't I? That definitely accounted for something.
Angel Beats! is a show that you truly have to get to know to fall in love with it. If you judge it from the first episode alone, you'll be missing a lot. My initial rating for it was 7 out of 10. After 13 episodes, I changed my mind slightly.
Arts & Animation 8/10 Sound 10/10 Story 8/10 Characters 9/10 Enjoyment 9/10 Overall 8/10 For a longer additional read, you can check out Guy's review. He dedicated a paragraph for TK :P
Episode 276 of Bleach is boring. They finally revealed Soi Fon's bankai and god it phails...

We have a new character in the latest episode of Bleach. Who would have thought that, huh? I definitely approved of Tensa.
I want to catch up to Angel Beats but this crappy laptop rejected the torrent. I have to watch it on family pc and who knows when will that be. Crap.
So time to catch up on Working!! in episode 11 Yamada thinks Taneshima is in love with Takanashi. She's confused because she knows that Inami likes Takanashi as well. She doesn't want to choose between the two of them. Actually, I'm worried too. I am all for Takanashi/Inami pairing. In truth though, Taneshima is obsessed with the crossdressing Takanashi. But that's only the beginning. We also get to see how did Satou fall in love with Yachiyo, Yamada and Inami having a sleep over at Takanashi's and last but not least, Yamada told Kozue that Inami likes Takanashi. That's how they end up in the room alone. Ngehehe...
Who the hell is she?!
Friday, June 25
Working!! episode 12: Taneshima was being all emo and shit when she found out about Takanashi's sisters. Somehow the episode ends up with Takanashi going on a date with Inami. needless to say, I approved of this greatly. Looks like they are going to end this series with the said date. I feel sad
K-ON!! episode 9: Yui decided to participate in talent contest and Azu-nyan kinda got dragged into it as well. *yawn*
Saturday, June 26
Watching the two final episodes of Angel Beats! Yuri finally caught the one responsible for creating the shadow. He too is under order from the guy who everyone referred to as God, the one who created the Angel Player program. He created it because he doesn't want to be an NPC while he has love in his heart. That's fucked up man. For a minute I thought Yuri was tempted to become the god of this after life world. Thank god that she didn't. I was even more worried that she might disappear. Apparently she did not although she has achieved her goal.
In the final episode, looks like everyone have disappeared including TK. The only one left were Otonashi, Hinata, Naoi, Kanade and Yurippe. Kanade prepared a graduation for them all which mean that this is the only series where everyone will disappear but of course Otonashi has other ideas. When he has sent Yuri, Hinata and Naoi off, he confessed his love for Kanade (WTF?!) and suggest that the two of them should stay in this world and play God. Guess what? No wonder Otonashi has such strong attachment to Kanade. She has his heart, literally. So she ended up in this world because she couldn't say thank you to him. Once she did, she disappear and yeah, I feel a tiny bit sorry for Otonashi. But then again, he was lucky. He got to meet Kanade in his next life. Urgh, life is so unfair.
Yet another delay on my figurine updates. I received this in March. I don't like Yui in K-ON! but I have to admit that the black stockings really got my attention. For some reason, when I saw the figure I know I have to get her because the stocking kinda makes her super kawaii and sexy at the same time. I don't know what's wrong with my sense of appreciation but that's how it is.
So she comes with 3 extra arms, 2 bend legs, 3 different facial expression, guitah, guitar strap, amp and 2 extra hands, one of it holding a pic.
Yui and her smiling face. Oh so carefree...
I dunno why I don't like her. Maybe I do. I dunno. But she sure irks me a lot when I saw her on K-ON. I guess it has something to do with her being incredulously stupid. Stupid people gets on my nerves. They make me wants to bitch slap them for no reason.
Overall I think Yui looks more "complete" if compared to Mio. I couldn't figure out why but Nendo Mio kinda disappoint me a bit. Maybe because she is not wearing the black stockings? Or maybe its the blue box? I know I don't like the blue box.
Besides the stockings, I have to say that I like Yui's hair as well especially when you look at it from the back. They looks so fluffy and so Yui. Does this mean that Good Smile Company managed to get the essence of Yui?
*shrugs*
I can't wait for Ritsu to arrive. Yui and Ritsu kinda one and the same when it comes to being lazy and carefree although Yui's stupidity is borderline ridiculous. Besides, Ritsu is the president of the After School Tea Time. She should be the one who got sculptured first. Grr...
But until Ritsu is here, there will only be Yui and Mio to entertain the crowd with their annoying bubblegum pop songs. I am not surprised that only the vocaloids who seem to enjoy it.
Oh well at least now Mio won't be alone and scared anymore because she will get her hands full with Yui antics. I don't think even Arawn can handle her.
I am NOT going to analyze the color spread for this week's chapter. I'm gonna take it at face value. No hidden plot/agenda. Those who thinks otherwise feel free to enlighten me.
Though I think I wet my pantsu when I see the color spread of Aizen and Gin. The reason is mostly for Gin. He just affected me so ^^
*squirts*
But lets not get sidetrack. Let's get back to the story or the lack of it.
When was the last time we saw Ichigo in his inner world? I sure can't remember. Can you? Though I think I remember seeing him in his inner world when Muramasa tried to control Hichigo in the filler episode 236.
Anyway, this time there's something different with his inner world. The buildings are still slanted but they are all under water and he was greeted by a new occupant of his inner world. Wait what? I'm freaking excited all of a sudden.
You all must have known who I was thinking of when I saw this new guy/girl. Thus he/she has my instant approval
ZOMG! *squirts >9000!*
Is this what Kubo means when he said he's bringing back Ulquiorra? He sure looks like Ulquiorra's relative. Or a child of Rukia and Ulquiorra. ZOMG *squeals at the atrogious idea*
I am so turn on right now >=3
Although in actuality I do recognized him as Zangetsu younger form. To know that I'm still turn on by Zangetsu is slightly disturbing to be honest *chuckles*
The difference in Ichigo's inner world exists because this is the first time he entered it while he is still in bankai. Hmm, make sense. Kubo has found a loophole for plotkai.
It's official. He's a damn hawt male species =3
While Ichigo is busy fending off for himself, Isshin revealed that they do not exactly share the same zanpaktou since his is Engetsu. Err... then how come they shared the same attack? Don't tell me Engetsu and Zangetsu are related. That's just cock.
Isshin was right about them not wanting to teach the final move. They are not obligated to do so anyway. Heh, I like that Tensa is giving Ichigo attitude. Damn he really reminds me of Ulquiorra. I miss that emostoic guy.
Meanwhile, at the Real!Karakura Town, the citizens have started to wake up from their slumber, or maybe that was just their spiritual soul? I'm not sure. But they are getting butchered by Aizen's reiatsu alone. It was a painless way to die I guess (they were cut in half before they even realized it).
We will get to find out Tatsuki and Keigo's new power in the next chapter. That is something I am sure of. It would be interesting and frustrating at the same time. Interesting because I have always look forward to see Tatsuki's power. I'm sure whatever it is, it would be more pawnsome than Inoue's. Frustrating because they will be plotkai and more bullshit involved.
I hope we will have Tessai and the other shinigami that weren't around at the Fake!Karakura Town, like Nanao and 13th Division 3rd Seat, come to the kids rescue. I also hope that Byakuya, Kenpachi and Mayuri will come soon to spice up the fight. I will not be surprised if the old fuck turn up too. That doesn't mean I won't rage though.
And seems like Kubo forgot about Kira and Rangiku. Heh. There's potential for love triangle and Kubo is too chicken to venture into that.
Done.
Doesn't Tensa looks so much like Rukia atm? Symbolism FTW =D
I forgot to mention this in the last chapter but when I saw the recap, it reminded me of one thing that I dislike about the anime after the Soul Society arc: the censorship. I mean, Soi Fon got her arm cut off by a freaking zanpaktou yet we didn't see any blood. That is just sad.
Aight back to the episode. Ukitake did right with Linette. I have a good chuckle. Though he sure made Stark annoyed with the way he treated his partner.
So finally Stark is fighting Shunsui for real although it seems like they are going to drag the fight a little longer while giving the screen time to Soi Fon and Barragan.
Speaking of Soi Fon, she has left Oomaeda to rot, as he fought (ran away is a better term) from Barragan. If anyone deserved to die in Bleach, Oomaeda definitely top the list. So anyway, while Oomaeda making a fool of himself, Soi Fon was preparing for her bankai state.
I literally chuckled when I realized this because I keep thinking how a friend of mine, who refused to read the manga and a phobia when it comes to spoiler will react to her bankai, since she's his favorite character in Bleach. I sure hope he is not as disappointed as I am when I first saw it. In fact I am still disappointed. A fucking torpedo? Jeez.
tsundere
She should just used her bankai since the beginning. If she did, she won't be missing a limb at the moment. I wonder why she wrapped the building with the ginjotan. So that she won't be send flying every time she used her bankai?
Gonna start with Naruto. Is behind the chapters for two weeks. My son wouldn't let me hear the end of it. To think that not few months ago I was such a manga whore >_>
Gargantuan Sharengan? lol sounds like Final Getsuga Tenshou to me. Looks like both manga have chosen more or less the same path. Naruto is having problem taking the nine-tail chakra. The fox's hatred is greater than what he had anticipated. Just as he was about to lost his chakra, guess who he met? His mother. LOL yeah, I think we are going to meet his whole other family when he's in his inner world and learn their story while we are at it. It was sweet but it distracts me from the real battle. I'm sorry Naruto but make the meeting a little short, will you?
*facepalm*
Next up is D.Gray Man chapter 195: Allen trying to stop Alma from infecting everyone else with the akuma virus. Easier said than done though and I actually am glad that some of the order's people were dead, burnt to crisp by his virus. I mean, he's the product of their invention after all. But of course the good guy (mainly Yuu and Allen) will not let Alma do whatever he wants. So once again, a face off between Alma and Yuu. Not only that, Tokusa (who shielded Allen and in returned became an akuma) and other apostles were affected by Alma's karma. Seeing them transformed to a fucking akuma damn break my heart. Also Allen lost his control over his power Crown and the Earl tempted him with the possibility of stopping all the cruelty if he (the 14th) joins them.
hot damn!
Denev and Helen went to great length trying to save Clare's ass from Priscilla and the Giant in chapter 104 of Claymore. Their effort was wasted though because Priscilla is unstoppable. She's like Aizen. And before they realized it, Clare was taken and is being eaten alive. Although I'm sure we ain't seeing the last of Clare yet.

The fight at fake!Karakura continues with Soi Fon and Barragan in episode 275 of Bleach.
Episode 9 of Angel Beats! was nothing spectacular except for TK doing the lookout dance. That was awesome. Apparently Otonashi didn’t during the train crash accident. He died out of hunger, and internal damages, as were the other survivors. Okay now I understand him a little better. The saddest thing was he died a few second before the rescue team arrived. LOL Okay, I said sad. Sorry. Ah fuck now he wanted everyone to disappear? Fuck this (even though I know it’s for their own good)!
Episode 10: Otonashi has become the puppet master of this show since he asked Kanade to act like she was in the last episode. Look, I already knew the biggest point of this episode (Yui died, didn’t she?) thanks to all the spoilers from twitter and my blog roll. I’m still surprised at how it went down though. A love confession out of nowhere? That was unexpected. Ah, this only makes my love for Hinata deeper.
I LOL'd
Thank goodness the episode took a different turn in episode 11. Shadows appeared and swallowed the victim’s soul. Next thing you know the victim will be just another NPC. Too bad Takamatsu was one of the victims though. One thing good from this episode is that Yurippe knows what’s going on with Otonashi and his plan. So Yurippe let the Battlefront members choose whatever path they want before she left them. WHAT?! I’m sure she assumed everyone will follow the Otonashi’s path but she clearly has some scores that she needs to settle with God so she cannot disappear until she done with that one. This turned out to be quite a sad episode.

Nothing big happening in chapter 408 of Bleach. Just a huge chunk of explanations >_>
Naruto chapter 499: Guess what, the battle between Naruto and the nine tail fox has already reached it climax just because he met his mother in his inner "inner" world. And then turned out that his mother WAS the nine tail fox? Or at least the reason the nine tail fox exist? OMG *yawn*
Well, I was about to go to work when I read THIS POST. Seriously though, how can I say no? Dammit. So here I am, who will be an hour late for work, because I decided to watch episode 23 of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Thank goodness my boss doesn't read my blog that often. Well, in this episode Rossiu was suicidal and would have been dead if Simon didn't stop him. Now he'll be in charge of the earth while Simon save the universe! >_>
Episode 24 was a tear jerker. Ailac, Kidd, Makken, the twin... they were all died while Simon trying to transform into a bigger drill. They were trapped and now the big ship was sinking with Simon in it.
Boota has spiral power too? *facepalm*. Episode 25 saw them destroying the central of the anti-spiral universe and thus regain their confidence. Kittan was super awesome in this episode. But wait, did he just fucking die on me? OH FUCK NOT AGAIN! WHY ALL THE CHARACTER THAT I CARE ABOUT HAVE TO DIE?! *wails*
Friday, June 18
Gonna make good of my promise. I'm gonna finish TTGL today even though Kamina and Kittan were no more. I feel sorry for Yoko. Both of her men died. Anyway in episode 26 they were all trapped in alternate universe and if it wasn't for Kamina they'll stay like that and would have lost the war.
Last episode of TTGL. I'm dreading this the most. I don't like Nia ever since I first laid my eyes on her. I dunno why, it just is. The whole shit of rescuing her is one of the reason why it took me this long (and persuasion from Glo) to finish this series. I kept saying WTF as I watched this episode and the ending... OMGWTFFIZZLERAGE. It was so cheesy and I regret completing this T__T

Ultimo chapter 15: Jealous became a spider when he combined with Iruma who was determined to kill Yamato. Thank goodness that Murayama Musashi and Wise stopped him otherwise Yamato is so dead right now. Musashi still going on about destroying Ultimo though so yeah, I don't mind that at all actually. Ultimo is getting on my nerves. But he's on the good side so he'll give Yamato a chance to understand everything. He let Yamato took Ultimo back to the Heian era so that he'll learn the truth and maybe he'll may just get what is going on.
I have waited 11 years for this to come out. Finally the wait is over and oh boy it was worth it. Despite being slightly unwell, I went to see the movie because that's the kind of person I am when it comes to something I absolutely love.
I have always been a fan of Toy Story. The first one has been my favorite for a long time until Finding Nemo debuted. Wall-E came close to steal the spot but now I am more than happy to announce that with Toy Story 3, Finding Nemo is no longer in the number 1 spot on my favorite movie list (under animation category). You have absolutely no idea how does that makes me feels inside *grins happily*
I should have seen this coming. In a summer full of half-assed sequals (Ironman 2, Shrek 4), uninspired drivels (The A-Team, Killers, etc) and downright shit (MacGruber, Marmaduke, wtf?), leave it to Disney/Pixar to remind us exactly why I go to the movies in the first place.
Stories like Finding Nemo and Toy Story set apart the work between Disney/Pixar and Dreamworks. Few weeks ago, I paid RM18 to watch Shrek 4 in 3D. It was a waste of my fucking money. When the show was over, I felt like I wanted my money back. I didn't pay that much money to see crap. Sure it has few funny moments but it was far in between. Shrek 2 was good (though nothing like Wall-E) and they should have stopped there.
Dreamworks (or other animation production studios) lack a lot of things compared to Pixar's animation. The stories of Pixar are far more enriching, both to one's soul and mind. You'll leave the cinema fulfilled. In term of animation itself, Pixar is far beyond its competitor. Just look at Ratatouille, Wall-E, A Bug's Life and Up as well as Toy Story 1 and 2 to understand what I'm talking about.
In Toy Story 3, Pixar has proven once again how to do it right. They perfectly mix art and storytelling into a ridiculously entertaining, visually stunning masterpiece. From the outrageously funny, action-packed open to the deeply moving, awe-inspiring and tear-inducing conclusion, Toy Story 3 shows that Pixar will always go to infinity and beyond. Yes, you read it right. I cried. I'm sure you will too. The movie relies on the themes of friendship, just as the first two did, but this time it makes use of the human emotion built up in fear of separation, all of which was done so masterfully, you can't help but be touched by it.
An emotional rollercoaster filled with tears and laughter, Toy Story 3 is one of the best films in years. I am still mesmerized by the storytelling on display and the beauty of genius filmmaking. Toy Story 3 is an absolute triumph. It caps off one of the best trilogies of all time, it's the best movie of the summer and, as of right now, it's the best picture of the year. Thank you to everyone involved at Pixar for putting in their all to make sure Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang got the best possible send off and for reminding all those disillusioned by these troubled times about the magic of the cinema.
I'm going to miss Andy's toys just as much as I will miss Andy himself.
I dare you to NOT agree with me after you've seen this movie.
Speaking of which, I am going to watch this movie again tonight. Yes, again in 3D. Awesome.
But then again, Aizen has destroyed Kotatsu. He has all the time in the world. Fuck this is retarded!
I feel weird looking at Ichigo talking to his dad while they are both in their shinigami uniform. It just felt like something missing. And to be honest, I was quite surprised that Ichigo is so obedient. Shouldn't he be asking his dad just how did he knows about Getsuga Tenshou? This is all seems so misplaced to me.
Also, I don't get Isshin's explanation at all. Okay that's a lie. I get the basic idea but still, this just doesn't sounds right. Ichigo should have urged his dad to go to the Real!Karakura immediately. That's why they are in the damn passage in the first place.
2000 hours = 3 months. Does this mean they'll reach Real!Karakura town only after 3 months? Argh I'm so damn confused!
Anyway, I just remember that I had a talk with my friend few years back when the winter arc first started. I told her that Ichigo needs a new power up with his bankai. All he has been using so far is Getsuga Tenshou in every fight and won. Sure he got help from his vaizard power but there was definitely a huge plotkai there. I mean, when you look at others, their shikai are quite different from their bankai and even their bankai has few attack levels (just look at Byakuya for example). Since Ichigo's zanpaktou has always been on his shikai form, we didn't get to see the impact of his shikai. Most of the time, his Getsuga Tenshou is only powerful when he adorned the vaizard mask. Otherwise, it barely scratched the espada. So we both agree that at one point in time Ichigo will master a new level for his bankai. I'm sure most of Bleach readers have thought of the same thing. What disturbed me about this whole process is the interference from his dad...
/rant.
But let's forget about this Final Getsuga Tenshou business. Talking about it just made me riled up for no reason.
Let's get back to the Real!Karakura town. If there is one good thing about this shift of focus, is that I get to see the people that has made this fun in the beginning. People like Keigo who has finally met Tatsuki in the middle of his panic attack. Don't you just miss their antics?
They both kinda get the feeling that all these weird happenings have something to do with Ichigo and like any of his friends, they take things for granted that Ichigo will make all this back to normal just because he is that kind of guy.
I sure hope they will get a power up too. It's about time.
As they ran around, Aizen and Gin has finally reached the edge of Real!Karakura town. I sure hope Ichigo won't take his own sweet time getting there. Oh wait, he does have all the time in the world.
*facepalm*
By the way, Isshin thought that Ichigo will have it easy. That his son only have to face Zangetsu in his inner world. I guess Isshin has no idea about Shirosaki.
The fight between chibi Shiro and Harribel continues but it better be for not so much longer though. The same goes for Stark and Shunsui, both who hasn't showed their true potential yet. They just keep dragging the fights. I expect that fight to be epic because he's the number 1 espada after all.
Why so serious?
It is rather refreshing to hear that chibi shiro doesn't have the confidence to use his own power. I mean I know a lot of people who have such hatred for chibi shiro (like I have for Inoue). They keep telling me that he doesn't has what it got to be captain. Although I'm not really a fan of Toushiro, I think I can understand where he's coming from. He is still a baby compared to the others especially if you put him besides Ukitake or Shunsui. He is still learning and or in gayer term: blossoming. I think he can be developed further. If only Kubo realize this.
I'm not a fan of elemental zanpaktou either but I have to admit, Toushiro's Hyoten Hyakkaso is a pretty impressive power to have. Turning the snowflake to flowery ice? Pretty! Was it effective against a third level espada though? I don't think so. I'm sure it is not the end for Harribel yet.
Next up to get raped are Soifon and her useless fukutaicho. I feel sorry for her. Not even half time yet and she has ended up with broken bones on her left arm which rendered it useless. Her fukutaicho is someone she can't rely on. I mean Renji will be much more useful at time like this and that is saying something.
She is up against someone who can manipulate time. Time itself is a powerful power. Soi Fon is already in her shikai but to be able to use her shikai power, she needs to get up close and personal with her opponent. Something that she couldn't afford to do with Barragan. So yeah, her shikai is totally useless atm.
And the truth is, in the manga, Barragan has transformed even before Toushiro defeated Harribel. I dunno why they want to delay the ressurecion though. Probably for more impact to the non-manga readers.
I gotta to say, when his ressurecion got animated, it was more funny than being forbidding. Probably the purple. Yeah, definitely the purple.
But his power-up definitely is forbidding. Soi Fon has already a broken arm. Now she has to cut it off because it was being corroded by life itself. Heh.
To be honest, this fight was one of the most boring fight I read in the manga because I don't like either Soi Fon or Barragan. But I guess the production team has done quite a good job animated it because it turned out rather interesting.
And that's it for this week.
oh btw, the omake was totally hilarious! Gin and Aizen is having tea thanks to the cold weather brought by Toushiro XD
But that doesn't mean that you do not have to vote for him because you absolutely must. Why vote for Baka-Raptor when he's already a default winner? Because:
p/s: I'm doing this because my husbandwas defeated in the shitty tourney which consequently mean that this tourney has lost the little credibility that it has. Baka-Raptor is the only other blogger that makes me feel obliged to return to the tourney to cast my vote. So here it is, a post dedicated to Baka-Raptor.
Yeah, I'm repeating myself here but I have always been fascinated by anything and everything that is Germany. I am obsessed with BMW and once owned a Mercedes (sold it for a MPV). Most of my favorite F1 drivers are from Germany: Heidfeld, Hulkenberg, Schumacher and if you still hasn't figured it out, my nick is derived from the word klux. Yep, Hitler inspired it all.
Oh you! @_@
But that besides the point. The point that I was trying to make is this: I am a supporter of Germany when it comes to the World Cup. Always have been, always will be.
So yeah, I was more than happy when Germany kicked Australia's ass last night 4-0. Even if Australia was given the penalty, they will still have their ass raped by the Germany. I think I saw blood. Hehehehe
edit: I put a video of the four awesome goals but FIFA has taken it down. Sheesh
Basically, I am announcing my allegiance for Germany as the Champion for World Cup of 2010.
I'm sorry England. You can't even bend the USA. I guess you were too busy focusing on Japanese's ass *chuckles*
As you probably notice, I'm not much of a blogger nowadays due to work. Have you seen my diary for the second week of June? It's pathetic. That's how much work has keep me busy. I barely has time for anything else. Not even a date.
Speaking of which, that was a lie. I went on a date several times since the last couple of weeks. Sometimes with the same guy, sometimes with someone else. I like options.
Sadly though it still lacking something profound. Something that is capable of sweeping me off of my feet. That small thing that may just make me say yes, for real. For life.
You know who I would say yes too without even have to think about it? The guy who made this rifle gun out of lego. I mean... from fucking LEGO!! How freaking awesome is that? It's none-lethal but still... I doubt any normal people could do this:
I'm such a nerd =3
But yeah, lets get real. Someone like him would probably be gay.
Which leave me with other options. I have listed my candidate waifu and I'm gonna stick to it. I probably gonna add a couple more candidates though like
Takanashi Souta
The fact that he's willing to crossdress and look hot in it just turn me on. But that's not all. My love for him goes deeper than that. I mean, what other man is GAR enough to be a punching back for an androphobic girl? No one. Not even Kamina. And he's good with the housework. Perfect to a T.
Orihara Izaya
Izaya is just too awesome for words, man. And he reminds me a lot of Gin and god knows how much I want to get into Gin's pantsu right?
Seeing these two guys, one in a dress and looking so rapeable, there's one word that comes to mind: yaoi. Yes, I am a big fan of any kind of love as long as it involved human being and not some alien dickhead or a cow.
Man wearing a cow suit on the other hand is totally acceptable ^_^
Yaoi is appealing to me like yuri is appealing to guys I guess. Don't ask why but something about BL seems so forbiddingly romantic. I'm a sucker for that. Not to mention that in the 2D world that I'm living in, all the guys who are so into each other are either hot or damn hot. Even if they look feminine, they are so rapeable hot. Who can resist that? I surely can't.
