First Impression: So-Ra-no-Wo-To

Meet Kanata,Yui's twin sister. Well not really but you can probably see where this is going. Yeah, it's the serious version of K-ON!

We have the characters line up who looks the same, more or less, but maybe with a little bit more personalities. Not much but it definitely make a lot of difference. Kinda. Says a lot about K-ON now doesn't it?

Anyway, from what I have seen so far, they kinda have a story/plot. Looks like Kanata is looking for her mom, Rio (she's Mio in reality but with personality) has some very deep issue about something something that has to do with the bell, which by the way is the same bell that Kanata saw when she was a kid. They don't revealed much of anything. But they did introduced Phyllicia who looks like she's Tsumugi's twin sister and Kureha who looks like the hyper version of Azusa. There is only one character that seemingly has no relation to K-ON! and that is Noel. I like her right away.


These women/girls are assigned at the town of Seize. Their duty is to... blow the trumpet/horn in the morning? I don't fucking know man... but they kinda told the history of the village, something about the Fire Lady sacrificing herself to kill the wing demon. Rio was chosen to play the Fire Lady part in the festival.

Whatever.

Kalafina sings the OP song. Not really a fan of her but maybe the song will grow on me. I really like the insert song though and wasn't really paying attention to the ED.

I probably would continue watching So.Ra.no.Wo.To just like I did with K-ON! So far I am not impressed by what I have seen nor am I pissed about it. It really is just a feeling of indifference. The same when I was watching the episode. It just monotonous from start to finish *yawns*

Bleach: Episode 252

After one week break for the New Year, Bleach is back with more disappointment action.

Oh they finally decided to show us what has transpired when Senbonzakura first attacked Byakuya (the night he went missing). So Senbonzakura regained his consciousness that night and has played along with Muramasa's plan ever since. Sneaky.

They also showed us the time when Ginrei warned Byakuya about Kouga.


I lol'd so hard when Kouga break his zanpaktou. Man, I really felt sorry for Muramasa for staying gay for Kouga these past hundred years. In his despair, he lets out the menos grande that he keeps inside his body. WTF?

So Ichigo and Rukia offered themselves to kill the menos grande while Byakuya and Senbonzakura (who has converted back to being a zanpaktou) can focus on killing Kouga. I gotta say that fighting sequences between these two were pretty kick ass.

This was a slow-mo. Awesome

And then Kouga proceeded with testing Byakuya's proficiency with kidou. I am not gonna lie. I squealed! Kouga didn't need to chant the incantation though so I missed the name of the hadou he used. The last one was pretty cool. Probably because it is made of ice. And then he used some other shit illusion that kinda made clone of himself. That's how he managed to injured Byakuya.

Apparently illusion is Kouga's true power. OMG first we have Aizen then Shinji and now Kouga too. Very original >_>

I didn't realize how much I missed seeing Byakuya's bankai. The last I remember was when he fought with Ichigo in SS arc. It is still as beautiful and awesome as it was back then.


And holy fuck, I have never seen the second stage of Byakuya's bankai. Is it possible that I forgot about it? I don't think so. So I have my jaw hanging when I saw it. They revealed it in a filler? Just WTF man... Someone please tell me that they have shown it in the past episodes...


Yet they still have not revealed what is the relationship between these two. We know that Byakuya was ordered to kill Kouga because he tainted the family name but is that all? What happened to the child that his wife carried? Huh? Huh? HUH?

First Impression: Chu-Bra!

I already decided not to watch this series when I saw it on Chartfag's chart for winter season because of the obvious fanservice and ecchi theme but old habits die hard. I am used to check out at least the first episode of every show as of late so here it is, my first impression on Chu-Bra!

The show started with a duck chasing a dog in front of a school. I already know that I will hate myself for making myself go through this -__-

Okay these girls looks like they are elementary students. I am not one to talk about ethics and morals but dammit, listening to their conversation made me facepalm. Sugardaddy? sex? Crotch? WTF?

yeah... I don't know what to say...

Oops, did I forget that this is an ecchi anime? Why the fuck am I complaining?! *facepalm*

The truth is, Nayu is an underwear monitor. She will tries out all the new design underwear and gives feedback. One of the teacher at school is actually an underwear designer and work closely with Nayu.

Once she cleared that misunderstanding, she is friends with Haruka and Yako. Although there is one girl in the class that keeps on hating her. Looks like someone is jealous.

So... I really don't know what the plot/story for this show could be (if it has one). I can't think of anything that is not retarded =\

First Impression: Aki Sora

You know something is wrong just by looking at that screen cap

• they are brother and sister
• the sister is a pedophile
• they should not even take a bath together at that age for fuck sake!
  

But this does not comes as a surprise to me as I kinda know what to expect after I took a peek at the manga. This is borderline hentai. The family members are so fucked up. The brother has a sister complex and vice versa while the twin sister is a lesbian. I would be surprised if they don't end up doing a threesome.

But I am deviating. Nothing to say about this OVA really. It just fucking pissed me off for no reason at all.

First Impression: Ladies versus Butlers

The anime is about a boy who looks like a delinquent and just transferred to a private school that teaches you how to be a maid/butler/servant. Point #1: stupid premises.

This is Hino, the luckiest bastard in the school

On his first day at school, he was mistaken as a delinquent by a girl whose hair looks like a croissant, it fucking pissed me off. The boy, Hino Akiharu, called it the drills.

Love at first sight... eventually *rolleyes*

She is a stuck-up bitch who goes around flaunting her family's name: Flamehart. Apparently Cernia is one of the main girls in the series. She was pissed of because Hino name-calling her hair decided to charge at him. The plan back fired. Instead she got molested and she was excited by it too. I hate her right away. Point #2: stupid heroin is stupid.

By the way, for whatever fucked up reason, whenever the girls student saw Hino, they fell unconscious. What's up with that? And then he was mistaken as a lolicon pervert. If that is not enough, he almost got raped by a crazy bitch with boobs the size of his head. Point #3: stupid gags are stupid.

But wait, there's a silver lining in the cloudy sky! We have Suzuhashi Tomomi a.k.a. Saikyo. A win character in otherwise moronic-fest of boobs. She is the other heroin of this series. A childhood friend of Hino and she is going to make his life a hell. Point #4: Sadistic girl is win!

They have not introduced the story yet but I am sure that Hino will turn out as a butler for the Flamehart and Cernia would want to get in his pants sooner or later. I think all the girls would, except for Saikyo because she's not a loser like the rest of them. Even if she did fall for him, it just to satisfy her sadistic-self and makes Hino a masochist.

The censorship is uber stupid: smokescreen. Obviously this is an ecchi anime which is probably why this is the first and the last time I'm gonna watch this. Unless someone said something intriguing about it, like Saikyo raping Hino's butt >=D

The anime is cutesy enough I guess. All the boobs looks like they are hanging mangos with tits, jiggling at appropriate times. The characters are okay. They kinda introduced a tsundere, a sadistic, a loli, a nun, the ghotic chic, the clumsy maid and a pervert bitch. I also suspected that Hino's room-mate is actually a girl. Harem WTF is coming soon >_>

You can't molest/rape the willing, bitch!

The predictable storyline is weak. This has potential to hurt my brain so I'm going to put it away.

*chuckles* Found a new manga which I like almost immediately. If you can't guess by now why, well you just don't know me well enough then. Bloodfest!! Yesh! I can never get enough of bloodfest @_@

Oh right I forgot to mention the name of the manga. It was quite a mouthful... Touhou Shinigami: Meteor Methuselah Gaiden Manga. The whole setup is a prequel for Immortal Rain so it means I'm going to read that one next.

Vampire Knight chapter 57 is up. It is only in Vampire Knight that I have so much trouble with the incestship. Fuck, it fucking grossing me out! Anyway, Kuran left artemis for Yuuki so that the whore can kill him (and other pureblood) someday. I say why not today, bitch? She ventured out on the train with Aido as her watch dog. Why the fuck am I reading this shit again? Oh right... Zero *eyes glitter*

Allen goes back in time where Kanda was still a kid in D.Gray Man chapter 190. Wisely is tampering with Yuu's memories to awaken Alma. It was a good thing imo. We got to see the relationship between Alma and Yuu back then. They were the child of the six branch after being awakened there by the researchers and they only exist for one purpose: to defeat the Earl and his armies of akuma. Yuu was still as serious as he is in present day and accustom to ignore Alma. What I'm pissed about is the fact that these two kids were used in countless inhuman experiments. And we have already known the fact that Yuu was the one who destroyed Alma way back then too under orders by the same people who created them. WTF? And they are supposed to be the good guys? O_O


The Imperial March has begin in Drifter chapter 9. WTF, those are monsters! But I'm sure nothing that the Drifters can't take care of. Wait, I might have spoken too soon. Their leader, The Black King, looks so freaking badass, as well as his few favorite armies: Hijikata Toshizou (LOL did Gintama do a spin-off about this? LMAO), Jean D'Arc, Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova and Kurou Hangan Yoshitsune. Sound familiar? Should be, they were pretty famous back in their era. Crap now I'm confused. Which side is the good guys? =\

Emerging chapter 12: Japan is in deep shit. The outbreak has gone to critical level since most of the hospitals weren't informed so they did not used proper attire or quarantined the patients. Also those who were still not aware that their were infected still roams around freely. Jeebus. This manga gives me goosebumps.

Claymore chapter 99: Holy shit, Priscilla just (kinda) admitted that Rakki was the reason she got back (some) of her memories thus she stopped consuming blood or flesh. For fucking real?! Rakki?!! But lets hold that thought because she killed Riful (and Dauf) and now she went straight for Clare. Like I said earlier... HOLY SHIT!


Hehe Reina met her match in chapter 7 of Yandere Kanojo, a small girl named Nanami Washinabe. She's awesome because she used EYE instead of I, just like Glo @_@ and then in chapter 8, Reina shopping for weapons with Manabu in tow. Here are some random snippets X)

Karneval chapter 18: Oops my mistake. Kiharu and Kagiri weren't the one who caused the explosion. It was Gareki. Once they asked Tsukumo to take Nai to safety they begin their showdown with the two enemies from Valga. They were beaten pretty bad. Then Yogi had a Gareki-complex thinking that Gareki hates him because he can't save Yotaka and in the middle of the fight his personality changed. His hair color too. Those two Valga quickly take a hike and they caught Tsukumo on their way.

We got an extra chapter of Karneval this week: the bio of the characters.

Holy fucking fuck... Has anyone read Arago yet? Yeah, I picked up another manga. I just can't help it when I see there is potential for bloodfest and carnage. It's about two twins, Arago and Ewan whose parent were killed by the Patchman. Arago grows up wanting revenge while Ewan becomes a policeman. The day they met with Patchman again, that damn bastard cut Ewan's hand and patched it to Arago. I was like... WTF. It's the first chapter and I already got tears in my eyes? O_O


Another manga >_> Omega Complex. Dammit how can I turn a blind eye to bloodfest and carnage? Especially when the protagonist doesn't need a weapon to do that. Just his bare hands *drools*

Holy shite! I don't normally celebrate New Year but fucking hell, I had blast and only finished celebrating it today. Still high from all the crap that I took. Awesome fun time is fucking awesome. Thanks to all the JOHO crew and those who came to SPAM! Now I gotta lie down and crash. Adios.

A closure

It is the last day of 2009.

What a year it has been. I was fairly depressed in the first half of the year. I discovered that the friends that I have were mostly superficial thus automatically made them assholes. I lived as a hikki during those time refusing any social real life interactions and basked myself with anime and manga and making friends on the interwebz that are far more awesome because we share the same passion and interest.

My relationship of course did not last. LOL I wonder if it will ever. But meh, after a day I did not care anymore so that itself speaks volume at how I cherished them. I am sorry but not really >3

The second half of the year was fucking awesome. I made new real life friends, get myself involved in a community which consequently got me a new more satisfying job.

I also started blogging again in July after almost a year abandoning this blog. I decided to make it an anime/manga related blog because obviously spazming about them is an everyday occurrence in my life. I met some awesome bloggers and it kinda opens my eyes at how big of a community I am part of. Stupid as it may be, it kinda fulfilling. I love reading them blogs especially of Glo's and Snark's. It is not like I don't like the others, but these two never ceased to amaze me with their wit and (questionable) intelligence. I also missed blur's Anime3r and is trying to accustom myself with NaNeee?! OEG has become the rage since they started at the end of October. I have had such a great laugh reading the entries and always wonder how I will fair if I'm included in the list (so far I am not; showed how insignificant this blog is LOL). I probably will get eliminated straight away but is still interested to find out why. It could be humiliating but meh zis is ze internet! If I care for such things I won't be writing this shit.

I also started to collect figures seriously. It left me broke for several months but it was worth it. They are still puny compared to the others I am sure but all in due time. I find myself more into nendoroids as compared to PVC. I have become the victim of consumerism but damn those GSC's nendo are fucking adorable! I will only be interested in PVC if it is of Bleach characters otherwise I won't even spare them a glance. Goes to show that I am not an otaku despite people saying that I am.

I find myself reading more manga than watching anime this year too. It was such a big difference compared to previous years. I never was a manga fan. I only read Bleach for several years because I love it. Then somewhere or something that I am not sure what triggered my obsession of reading manga and the list just keeps getting longer as the year 2009 comes to a close. Maybe it has something to do with the release of shitty anime but really who am I kidding. I have tons of anime in queue and bloody hell works really made me less of an anime tard nowadays :(

So my New Year resolution would be this: I wanted to complete at least 15 anime series in 2010 plus at least 5 series that I have put on hold since forever. I only managed to complete 16 anime (excluding 5 fall anime that I am currently watching) and 11 of it were OVAs and movies. 5 series was so little compared to last year where I finished a whopping 29 series! That did not include OVAs and movies.

Jeebus what have I been doing this year? Why the fuck did I let work get in the way?! Being an adult is such a chore -__-

Before anyone started bitching about me lying about being a hikki, here is the fact: I work from home. I write for a living. Except for the occasional meetings, it does not required me to step out of the house for me to earn my money. Fucking convenience eh? Righto, it is =3
