Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

Bleach: Chapter 486

Apparently Nel didn't come to the living world alone. She brought her side kick with her, and adding to supposedly the comedic side of Bleach. Again, everything just seems forced nowadays with the slapstick comedy. I don't appreciate it at all. Shit wasn't the same back when Kubo first started this series. That's for sure...

As I said before, I guess I was wrong thinking that Aizen killed Hallibel because looks like she has been the one governing Hueco Mundo after the fall of Barragan and Stark. Kubo must have used whatever loopholes he got.

Like Nel said, Hueco Mundo was attacked by unknown shit who abducted arrancars to use them as their vanguards.

Ichiho held an emergency meeting with the rest of the ryoka, plotting to go to Hueco Mundo and save it. I mean, seriously... why the fuck do they have to do that? Isn't this supposed to be under Soul Society's jurisdiction? Shouldn't they just don't give a fuck for once? Well, at least Ishida said no to the invitation.

But of course, nothing gets passed Kisuke. He voluntereed to help them get to Hueco Mundo. Ah... fuck.

Back in Soul Society, everyone is mourning for Sasakibe. Guess what, we will never get to see his bankai, which apparently he mastered before Ukitake or Kyouraku did. Goes to show that he wasn't good enough to be appointed as captain lol. Byakuya said he refused the seat of a captain because of his loyalty. Pfft, he was a fool then, if he thinks he can be the captain of Squad 1. Everyone knows that the old fuck is immortal!

Having said that, lemme just say that Byakuya is so fucking fappable in this chapter!

*faps*

Mean while in Hueco Mundo, Buckbeard (what was his name again?) is having a meeting with his minions. One of them, an arrancar who looks mighty fappable, revealed that Ivan failed to capture Ichigo's bankai even after he used his medal... yeah whatever that supposed to mean. Like every other villains in Bleach, they are all interested in securing Ichigo.

Well, good thing that Ichigo is basically surrendering himself to these bad guys right?

Anime: Spring 2012

I am (way) far behind the Winter anime. It would have been a miracle if I get to see all the first episode of the Spring anime. I am too busy with work to realize that Spring has creep up on me and yet I have no clue what's showing. So I put aside my work for few hours and doing this preview instead to satisfy myself, and even convincing myself, that I am still an anime fan.

everyone, let's thank moetron for this chart

As usual, lets divide this accordingly. First up is the must watch (indefinitely) list. I didn't get to watch (or more accurately ignore) any of the noutaminA series for Winter. Let see if noitaminA managed to restore my faith back.

  • I know who is fapping right now. It's Glo because hey look, Nazo no Kanojo X is getting an anime!
  • I wasn't too sure about Fate/Zero back in Auturm until Reiki showed up and patiently walk me through this typemoon series. I am saving the last episode of part 1 so that I have a continuous watch for the second part. Needless to say, I'm stoked.
  • Same goes for Kimi to Boku season 2. I have a couple episodes left from season 1. It will be a good motivation to dive straight into season 2 with the characters fresh in mind. After all, they are the reason why I fell in love with the series in the first place.
  • A1-Pictures didn't produce any anime during the winter so naturally I am looking forward to Tsuritama which will be one of the two shows featured in noitaminA this Spring. It certainly looks different story/plot wise. Besides, this show is centered around 4 bishies. What's not to like? :3
  • One more anime produced by the A1-Pictures for Spring is Uchuu Kyoudai. It's about dreams, relationship between brothers and I'm sure so much more. I just hope that A1-Pictures do not pull another Fractale for this one.
  • I said earlier that Sankarea has the potential to either flop or goes up the ladder. This caused Glo's wrath and then I remember that he has been ranting out about how awesome the manga is so naturally this automatically got bumped to the must watch list
  • Sakamichi no Apollon will be featured in noitaminA and looking at the plot/story, it looks decent. For whatever reason, it reminds me of Kuragehime and that's good enough for me.

Next category is the shows that have the potential to be something more than average and might get a bump to be included in my MUST WATCH list.

  • The plot is intriguing enough to catch my attention. Plus, Hyouka is by KyoAni. What could go wrong?
  • I'll be honest. I have never watch Eureka Seven before even though I have the DVD somewhere in my room. I hope I can still watch Eureka Seven AO even though it's a sequel. I need people to fill me up like they did with Last Exile.
  • I still have a lot of episodes to catch up on but Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle has been somewhat very entertaining ride so I'm not going to miss the second season either.
  • I enjoyed the OVA so I'm sure I'll be enjoying Yurumates the TV series this Spring too.

Now that we have got those out of the way, it is time for the average shows that might be dropped for being predictable and cliche. This all depends on first impression. I am that picky because I can't afford to otherwise.

  • To be honest, I don't know what to think of Jormungand. It sounds dark enough to pique my interest but I am not crazy about the arts...
  • A weak and often bullied male protagonist meet and has instant luck with the prettiest girl in school? Where the fuck have I heard that before. So atm it's a big no for Accel World. But if the protagonist is that fat boy down there... then this show might still has the chance to redeem itself.
  • The art for Ozuma reminds me of the old age of anime back in the 80's. It looks interesting enough but I'm not crazy for the love development thingy between Maya and Sam. If anything I think I will end up rooting for the IC. Bad guys are just that hawt sometimes.
  • Who haven't heard of Saint Seiya right? However that does not mean I'm looking forward to watch Saint Seiya Omega. Again, what's with the 80's art?
  • I am not gonna lie. Although I will hate Tamaki, I wish I could have her life instead. Having five bishies as my guardian angels... now that's a life I can look forward to. So yeah I guess I'll be checking out Hiiro no Kakera.
  • I am not crazy about Natsuiro no Kiseki but I am interested to see how these four girls interact with each other. For that I'll give them the benefit of a doubt.
  • Saki: Achiga-hen episode of Side-A because I somewhat like the first Saki :)
  • For some reason I got excited with Zetman. It probably has something to do with that misleading poster. It looks like a guy carrying another guy in his arms. The fujoshi in me squeals in delight.
  • I am not a fan of Rock Lee so naturally I can't say that I look forward to Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden. Besides, it has been over a year since I last updated myself with the Naruto series.
  • They must have a reason to do a digital remaster for Fushigi no Umi no Nadia. Here I am hoping that the reason is because this anime was exceptional in those days of yore.
  • Kuroko no Basuke reminds me of Slam Dunk, the ever so famous basketball anime in the 90's. It is produced by Production I.G. so at the very least I am hoping that the arts and animation could blow us away.
  • Yet another girls idol anime. AKB0048 is probably would be the other iDOLM@STER.
  • This could be the only 4koma manga adaptation of the season that I'm interested in: Acchi Kocchi
  • Why does an anime looks like an American cartoon? I hope Gakkatsu can overcome this flaw with some witty comedy otherwise I would throw this in the trash can without missing a heartbeat.
  • What's with anime and soccer lately? The latest addition of the soccer anime is Ginga e Kickoff!! which was adapted by a 2006 soccer novel. For a girl, I should probably be ecstatic that this show evolved around a professional female player but all I can smell is cliche shit so...
  • I am not crazy about the plot for Tasogare OtomexAmnesia. It reeks of clicheness; a boy who is the only one who can see the ghost of the female protagonist. Hmm... where did I heard that before... >_>

And without further ado, below are the anime that is more likely to be included in my anishit list. These are the shows that I won't bothered with except if I'm really bored and has nothing better to do than waste my time raging. In other words, the shitty/ecchi shows. It could also be the show that I'm curious about but know that I only watch the first episode to prove that I'm right at how bad it is.

  • Again with girl saving the boy from alien and that girl turns out to have some powers herself. You have seen one, you have seen them all so there is no reason for me to watch Haiyore! Nyaruko-san
  • I know I will rage watching Sengoku Collection. That era is meant to be bad ass but this show will ruin that for me. It is most likely that I will skip this and won't even bother to check out the first episode.
  • I don't play games and it serves no purpose for me to watch Koi-ken!, a dating anime adapted from a game that has male/lesbian as the consumers.
  • Who the fuck want to watch an obvious anime like Shiba Inuko-san? The 4koma fans, that's who and I am not one of them.
  • Arashi no Yoru ni is a collaboration between Singapore's Sparky Animation studio and few Japanese companies including Bandai Visual. Unfortunately I'm not into kid show and this show looks like it belongs in Disney Junior channel.
  • Shining Hearts ~Shiawase no Pan~ Jeebus, what's with saving the damsel in distress? They are just sluts and attention whores!
  • I have some reservation for Medaka Box because of the size of the female protagonist's boobs. What school allowed a student (a president of student council at that) to wear that kind of uniform. Jeebus talking about it is enough to piss me off.
  • There is no way in hell I'm gonna waste my time watching Jewelpet Kira☆Deko and holy fuck, this is the fourth season? What did I miss? O_o
  • Same goes for Pretty Rhythm Dear My Future. Why Japan? Why?
  • Another 4koma manga adaptation that I will not give a shit about is Upotte!! Just saying that title already pissed me off.
  • I have never heard of Train Hero.
  • Eh what's with the animal theme children show? No, I don't want to watch Shirokuma Cafe either!

And here are the shows that I don't give a damn about because I haven't finished watching the previous season or never has the intention of watching it in the first place.

  • Kore wa Zombie desu-ka?Jigoku-hen.
  • Cardfight!! Vanguard Second Series
  • Kikansha Thomas
  • Beyblade Zero-G
  • Queen's Blade Rebellion

I won't be bothered by the OVA/ONA/Specials because I'm too lazy for that (and because my work has been staring at me the past couple of hours). However let me mentioned the movies that caught my interest

  • Well, I have both seasons of Strike Witches. It won't be bad to watch that movie as well even though I don't understand why am I even bothered with this series.
  • If a poster like that can pique and intrigue me, I'm sure the movie of Uchuu Senkan Yamoto 2199 will blow my socks away.
  • I have this inclination to watch anything that Production I.G. produced but then again, I did drop Guilty Crown. Having said that Momo e no Tegami looks like a folklore movie which always interests me for some reason.
  • Niji-Iro Hotaru ~Eien no Natsu Yasumi~ looks like a love story and I'm a sucker for a good love story
  • I have no idea what Deva Zan is all about and I want to know.

That concludes the preview for Spring 2012. Just look at that must watch list of mine. Am I being too ambitious again knowing that I am too busy to watch more than 1 episode per day? Sad times indeed for the anime fan in me T__T

Bleach: Chapter 485

Seeing that bad guy losing an arm, panting on the floor and yet still addressed his superior accordingly made me laugh. Even more so when his superior threatened to cut off his legs as well since he won't need it if he's addressing him laying down. Dafuq was that? That is just bullshit. If no one attended to his wound, he will bleed to death in no time, no?

I am your leader! Bow to me!

Oh and by the way, that loser who got his arm cut off is called Luders Friegen. What's with the Germany's name? Are they descendant of Hitler?

Apparently, it was his idea about invading and destroying Soul Society in 5 days. Buckbeard has not a clue about it and is actually pissed that Friegen decided to play prophet without his permission. And so ends the life of Friegen... just like that. LMAO... all that talked he had with the old fuck... wasted...

Same goes for Ivan whose real mission was to slow down Ichiogo. God knows why, but I'm sure Buckbeard will tell us sooner or later. Since his mission was done, he too was eliminated. This is just Kubo trying to establish the fact that Buckbeard is ruthless and merciless. A formidable villain.

Pfft, how the fuck can I take him seriously with name like that?

Friegen and Ivan were not quincy but were arrancars and seems like Buckbeard can has as many arrancars as he wants. I'm still rather confused as to what his identity really is. Friegen called him the King so I thought he really was the King.

Back in the real world, none of Ichigo's friends came after him. They weren't even worried about him. Why would they? He fucking took down Aizen. That's like bringing down the God. If anything they should feel sorry for the asshole who was stupid enough to go after Ichigo.

There is a slight comedic relief between the pages, or at least that's what it supposed to be: Orihime teasing Ishida about being friends with Ichigo nowadays, Yuki's stupid humming ring tone, that kind of shit which do nothing but pissed me off to be honest.

I thanked the heavens when Yuki said that he was called back by Soul Society to attend a funeral. Guess who is dead?

Holy shit. I guess Bleach really does about to come to an end. Good guys never die in Bleach before, even when they were cut into two. And 106 shinigami dead in 182 seconds? That's a freaking world record!

They called Yuki and gave him all the details. Heh, that's pretty obvious that they want Ichigo to know what's going on as well. However, he didn't go to Soul Society which disappoint me because I want to see him and Rukia again.

Instead, I got him and Nel T___T

did she suck your nipples?

She brought news about Hueco Mundo. The mention of that place, and the fact that there are arrancars involved bring smile to my face and you know why... it's because maybe, just maybe, we got to see Grimmjow and even Ulquiorra again. I mean, we already have Hallibel making a come back even though I was pretty certain that she was killed by Aizen. Looks like I was wrong...

Buckbeard is obviously into BDSM

So... what about those quincy theory, huh?

And I wasn't that crazy after all wishing that the arrancars will come back XD

Also... fuck I really do hate this Buckbeard guy who looks like he's Kenpachi's long lost brother. He has invaded Hueco Mundo and has controls over the hollows and arrancar. Would have been great if Soul Society released Aizen and used him to fight Buckbeard. After all, Aizen pretty much build Hueco Mundo, didn't he?

Diary of a tard: Week 3, March 2012

Amatsuki chapter 53: A flash back of Beni-chan childhood as well as Kanzou. Apparently Kanzou is a demon too. He's the small demon servant to the god of Dog. As for Beni-chan, she was possessed by the demon and hence her hatred for them. This chapter further explained how Sasaki got involved. He didn't have any idea of the shrine at first until Hizame told him. They feel the need to "balance" both world as they see the shrine gave too much freedom for the demon world which might cause the human world to collapse. Hizame offered Sasaki her own blood. She wanted Sasaki to gauge his own eyes and splashed some of her blood (which have super healing ability). By doing this, Sasaki will see the demons with his own eyes. This chapter also revealed how the priest Shamou was pretty much forced to take care of her by the demon who resides in her.

Chapter 5 of Ame Nochi Hare: So the boys go to the girl school when they grow boobs. Everything was new to them. They gotta learned how bitchy girls can be. As I have expected, shit is going fast with Hazuki and that braided-hair girl. He got asked out to the movie, not that she knew he's a male, but still. The others all decided to help him out on his first "date". In the middle of the movie, they all changed back to boys. Hazuki changed in the ladies and got stuck in there so the four guys have to pick him up. Asumi who knew nothing was wondering what took "Tsuki" so long. LOL. By the way, it looks like Maki has a secret of his own while Madoka apparently is engaged but it was fixed by his parents.

God knows why but I picked up a shoujo manga when I saw "naked man" in it's synopsis. The title is Don't Cry Girl. It's about Taeko. She is freeloading with a hot guy (a friend of her useless parent) who is an exhibitionist. He is always naked when it home. His friends are weirdo too. For example, Jinnai has an obsession with large penis LMAO. She's living a dream, if you asked me :P

Episode 2 of Ai no Kusabi: The one thing that I noticed the most about this episode is the animation. It makes the wait worth it. Anyhoo, Riki is back at the slum and he met his old friend Guy and the others. Then 10 minutes were wasted in order to let us know that Riki was a former leader of Bison etc etc etc but in the end Riki, Guy and Bisons are all losers. Dafuq? Apparently none of them knew that Riki was a pet once and Kirie, for some reason, puts Riki on edge. Well, maybe because Kirie wanted to be pet when Riki just ran away from that life. Urgh, still no BL action. Fuck this I'm frustrated!

I don't like Riki much but this... hot dayyum!

Kill Me Baby episode 4: It's summer and the gag starts with Sonya and Yasuna eating Popsicle. As usual Yasuna is an idiot. She bought a whole bunch of different ice-cream just so she can win one ice-cream. Naturally Sonya has all the luck with that. The next day, Yasuna still whines about how hot it was so they ended up at the sea with a watermelon and stayed there until night fall. One day, an assassin was after Sonya even at school. Yasuna was dragged into the mess. Luckily Agiri was around to help them out. The assassin came back the next day disguised as Yasuna. I lol'd especially when the real Yasuna played along with them.

she's basically begging for it

I decided to watch Spirited Away to end the remaining hours of my bornday. I think the last time I saw the movie was back in 2003. That's almost 10 years ago. Spirited Away was the first Miyazaki film for me and as such I have such fond memories of it. I remembered being head over heels in love with Haku back then and after rewatching it tonight, I think that love has been rekindled. Spirited Away is about Chihiro who stumbled upon a spirit world with her parent. They ate the foods and turned into pigs. It was Chihiro's mission to save her parent and turned them back to normal. She has helped from Haku, a river spirit that once saved her from drowning. Their love for each other what moves me to love the movie so much. Or maybe I'm just a pedophile when it comes to Haku ♥

+1UP

I'm 31 today. Another year has gone by yet I'm not sure if I'm getting any wiser. I like to believe that I am since experience is the best teacher in life, or so they said.

Comparing this day to last year, a lot has changed. Last year, I was holding one job with plenty of time to spend on my anime and other useless shits. This year however, I would be extremely lucky if I managed to squeeze one episode of anime in a week.

Sacrifices were made in order for me to achieve what I've set out to do. Few of it being my time for anime, blogging and basically writing in general. I'm not happy about it but think that I will have plenty of time (and monies) later to enjoy what life has to offer for me. At the moment, it seems like the path to success is kind enough to let me pass and I shall not recklessly abandon it.

I am thinking of letting go both of my editorial jobs so I can concentrate with my business. Even more so since I am preparing for the opening of the gas station as well. These two babies are my own so naturally even when I'm tired as fuck, it gives me plenty of satisfaction.

Speaking of babies, I asked in yesteryear who could my Cancer prince be and seems like I have found him. It's progressing as it should. We both live 3 states away from each other and are both busy as fuck with our own lives. It is perfect. LOL

If everything goes as plan, by the time I reached 32, I will be the owner of scrumbtious and a Shell gas station, as well as engaged.

Life has been kind to me for the past year and I'm grateful for it. Hopefully it will be kinder still for years to come.

Happy birthday, klux.

if only my friends would have done this :3

Bleach: Chapter 484

Oh why don't you look at that... the old fuck is pissed. Then again, he is always pissed about something. Maybe he couldn't get a release for his bOnar or something. He took down Sasakibe from being part of the wall decoration in his office.

Gotta gives credit for the rebel Quincy though. They went after the big guns and didn't give a shit about the smaller fries. They sure have guts. Too bad that they disappeared after delivering the annihilation message to the old fuck. I would love to see them kill him on the spot. Oh well, soon I hope.

The old fuck tried to stop the Vandenreich from living but they are too fast for him. Their reiatsu completely gone from Seiretei which indicated that their movements are not affected by the Shakonmaku. Then Sasakibe, with his dying breath (kidding - bad guy don't die in Bleach remember?) revealed to the old fuck that these antagonists can do bankai.

Ho? Interesting indeed. Now they are dealing with some organization whose members have Quincy, hollow/arrancar and shinigami power combined? Hahahaha no wonder these son of bitches were so confident that they can annihilate Soul Society in 5 days.

Back in the real world, Ivan was having a hard time with Ichigo. Now, that is one haywired plan. Ivan just couldn't believe that Ichigo still has his bankai. He mumbled out loud so naturally Ichigo heard every words he said. For some reason, Ichigo wanted to drag Ivan back home for further questioning. This was when a shadow split from Ivan. He said something like the shadow only chooses the chosen one. Ivan used the shadow to run away. He pretty much disappeared into thin air.

But they do have a place to go. They went back to their "camping site" and thus it was revealed how the antagonists this time around look like. Just like the arrancar, the members of Vandenreich don't see eye to eye with each other. They too have a leader who seems ruthless as fuck, and sort of reminds me of Aizen when he cut off Grimmjow's arm.

the lair
the lair

Whoa wait a minute. Don't get excited too soon because it is certainly not Aizen. He looks more like he's from the SPARTA era than anything else and kinda reminds me of Shunsui as well.

Kubo has revealed 2 of the Vandenreich faces but he has yet to properly introduce to us who these guys are. One thing for sure, Karakura Town and Soul Society are in for one hell of a bloody mess. At the moment, it seems like they are totally fucked.

Oh I also forgot to mention that Kubo referred to the antagonist leader as the Empire's King. What does that mean? Is he the king of Soul Soceity? Is this arc going to be about the King's Key? So many questions need to be answered...

Persona 4 the Animation: Episode 14

This episode pretty much explains what Yu was up to in the last episode, of how he spend his summer vacation. Seeing that I was bored to death watching that one, I'm not looking forward for this episode which explains why the gap between the episodes is so big. Heh, I should probably write this in the diary but it has becomes a habit for me and since I don't do any harm to anyone, I might as well continue what I love doing regardless that I am 8 weeks behind LOL

It all started when Nonako went home without her umbrella since she gave it to the fox. Yuu wanted to buy a new one for her but since he has no monies, he ended up doing odd jobs helping people out. This came about when that mysterious fox requested him to start doing part time job.

And thus the hardship begins. He was harassed by women, friends and children. Remember that he even wore Kuma's suit and that itself was hellish.

But in the end, I have a few laugh especially when that giant koi fish appeared and Yuu's reaction was priceless. Heh, this show threw something funny unexpectedly. Sure there's that slapstick comedy but then there's something like this too. This is why I feel like Persona 4 ain't that bad of a show despite the lack of quality in the animation.

But yeah, this seems more like a filler episode >_>

scrumbtious outlet

There is a reason why my blog has not been my priority as of late. As I have said here and here, things are really busy for me. Third month of 2012 and most of the shits planned for my resolution are coming to fruition. It's faster than I had imagine it would be. I feel like I'm living on a fast lane at the moment while the people around me move in slow-motion.

I just received a call today that I have passed the first interview with Shell for the gas station. 4 more to go and the second one is already scheduled on 15th March 2012. Got to be mentally prepared for that...

And then, there's the big news of me finally opening my scrumbtious outlet on Sunday, 4th March 2012. It was a small pre-launching joint-event with Mr. Kombi Cafe & Kopitiam. I prepared few cakes, cupcakes and treats with only 2 cakes for sale that day. The event started at 6pm and by 9pm my cakes are finished/sold out with 3 more hours to go. Needless to say, I'm quite happy with how things turned out.

I am also quite thankful for the support and love that I got from everyone who personally came or to those who sent me their regards from afar. It made me realized that I didn't waste my time on the internet for nothing. LOL

Thank you.

Here are some pics taken of my scrumbtious outlet during the opening.

First Impression: Ai no Kusabi (2012)

I can't remember the last time I watched yaoi. It has been a while. Since I've been working relentlessly for these past couple of months, I think I deserved a reward. Needless to say, I'm pretty stoked about this one right here. I have been waiting for it since last year but for some reason they canceled the plan to release it last year and only now did us fans finally manage to get the 2012 version of the legendary Ai no Kusabi. Yeah, if you think you are a fan of yaoi but have never watch the 1992 version, don't call yourself a fan.

The premise of the story is basically the same but with better animation, character design etc. Riki is still Iason's pet, since well... he has black hair and thus automatically made him a mongrel. The blondies are pretty much the men in power and each of them are allowed to take one mongrel from the slum to become their pet. I know... fucked up society is fucked up LOL

I found myself still a bit partial towards Iason. He's just so calm and collected. His behavior as Riki's master is something that I look forward to actually and he's the reason why I fap to this yaoi. Riki for me personally, is a one dimensional character. He's a rebel and that was it. I guess we just have to wait until he realized that he's nothing if he isn't Iason's pet to finally see the other side of his character, if any. This is because Iason has released him and allowed him to go back to the slum. He's a confident buttfucker though and he is just so sure that Riki will be his soon enough. I wish Iason nothing but the best :3

As expected, the animation is crisp and sharp, way better than the 90's version. It sort of reminded me of Togainu no Chi. At certain point, especially when Iason was whispering to Riki's ear as he teased him, I found the animation exceptional what with each of the characters' face expression. It sure is turning me on! If only we get to see more yaoi action... but hopefully good things will come for those who wait.

I like everything about Iason including his voice so I have to compliment Tooru Ookawa for the job well done. Itou Kentarou too is perfect for Riki because he has that rough edges to his voice that showcase the rebellious side of him. He also sounds pretty convincing when he's hot and horny. Heh.

I am currently downloading the second episode of this OVA and can't fucking wait for it to be done. The 2012 version of Ai no Kusabi does not disappoint except for the BL action part. I need to see more of that in my yaoi please...

art & animation 8/10
story 7/10
character 8/10
sound 7/10
enjoyment 9/10
overall 7.8/10
