Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

Boku Ha Tomodachi Ga Sukunai (OVA)

This here I am watching is an OVA for the upcoming TV series that will be released anytime soon. To be honest I was completely confused for the first two minutes of this episode. I thought this show's alternate title in English is "I Don't Have Many Friends" but in this one, it repeatedly shows us statement of "I Have Many Friends" with some spaceship UFO as the background picture. On top of that, they showed us snippets of Kodaka with his harem of not less than 5 girls who are desperate for his attention.

(c) Buriki

Isn't this the opposite of what this show is supposed to be? And to be honest, I am a little bit pissed off feeling that I have been cheated. I don't appreciate the harem as well even though one of them girls has heterochromia. I don't like it even more when only 2 girls are of his age while the others, including the heterochromia, are lolis.

Oh shit this is turning out to be a disaster for me. I don't think I can take it anymore!

Thankfully the first half of the episode was only Kodaka's dream. His perverted thoughts were interrupted with a taser gun. Turned out he and the others were having (poisonous) hot pot in a very questionable dark room. The two girls from his dreams who were all chummy and what not are Yozora and Sena. In real life, they are literally like cat and dog and will compete with each other about anything and everything.

The other characters are Maria, the heterochromia girl, Kobato (Index -you'll get what I mean if you saw her and have watched To Aru Majutsu no Index), Yukimura (Misaka - again, referring to To Aru Kagaku no Railgun) and Rika, the lab girl. If I have to pick one girl to root for, then it has to be Yozora just because I'm a sucker for character like her.

(c) Itachi-san314

The characters are pretty much the archetype characters. There aren't any surprise with their personality which already make this show feels so boring. It doesn't bring anything new and exciting to the table. They thought the story of few people having no friends and socially awkward creating a Neighbors Club for themselves is made of win. Well, I beg to differ. But then again, this is only the OVA. Hopefully with the TV show, they will be as promising as the manga and make it a bit more entertaining and interesting for us.

For an OVA with airing time of 11 minutes, it was a disappointment for me. The first half was full of fanservice while the other half was pretty much a lost cause. If they think this OVA will make people want to watch the TV show, then I think AIC Build has failed miserably.

Bleach: Chapter 466

Heh whadda ya know, Renji did defeat Jackie. She is not even worth it for Kubo to show the rest of the fight. However, they are still stuck in that game space version of Yukio. One of them needs to die or the portal will not open. Renji is being a total gentleman refusing Jackie's offer to kill her and wants to figure out a way so that they both can get out of the game. I dunno, I found this ironically funny for some reason. Maybe because he's so much like Byakuya nowadays. I am sure we are all too used with the idea that Renji is hot headed and will act before he thinks, right?

That speech!

But yeah, Jackie kinda sacrifice herself after that to Renji's surprise. Jackie probably knew that Yukio ain't happy and will kill them both. How fucking noble you are Jackie but sorry but I'm glad that you're dead actually. You as a character who doesn't give any added value to Bleach after all.

And so we move on to Yukio versus Toushiro. I seriously want to smack Yukio's head for being an arrogant son of a bitch. Thankfully his opponent doesn't fall for his childish show off talk. Experience makes all the different. Toushiro plays along to his little game which frustrates Yukio so he uses all his power to defeat Toshiro. Like I said, so freaking childish. With just a glance, Toushiro hits a nerve when he guesses correctly that Yukio is a deserted child. This makes Yukio lost his cool, pretending that the choice was his to desert his parent. He's a very bad child. I don't believe that I liked him before. He caused his parent to commit suicide after he ruined his father's company. Spawn of the devil, you are!

Since Yukio is busy being mad, he lost his focus and allows Toushiro to freeze that damn gadget of his that controls the space. With that gadget now useless, the creatures of his creation who are after Toushiro are after him as well. Heh, plan back fired much, Yukio?

Another seemingly pointless chapters since all the fights are at the moment so one-sided. Though the results were expected, I wish Kubo could have been more creative in delivering the content. This is just him taking the easy way out.

Well, at least he further develops the characters. Renji is more matured (that took him long enough), Toushiro is more collective and well... Rukia is now a fukutaicho =3

Ao no Exorcist: Episode 24

As expected, Rin isn't happy with what is happening to Yukio at the moment. Well then again, no one is except the other Satan's offspring, Mephisto.

Everyone tries to stop Satan (when I said everyone, I mean Rin's classmates) but obviously they are no match for him. Even Shura tries her luck and since she's the student of Fujimoto, she lasts for about 2 seconds longer but enough to take everyone into hiding.

Satan/Yukio wants to merge Assiah with Gehenna. No ones except Yukio knows that was what Yuri wish (well kinda, if you think about it), so everyone was skeptical. Satan might have a noble intent but his method is wrong. He is destroying the Academy and endangered so many lives. Also, killing your offsprings? Yuri wouldn't like that, Satan.

Everyone wants to take the easy way out: destroy the Gehenna and abandon Yukio to whatever fate lies for him. I am disappointed at these people. You don't leave your fucking comrade behind, you assholes! Satan should burn you to crisp! Thankfully Rin is against the idea. He trusts Yukio's soul is still inside of him.

this fanart serves no purpose except that Yukio looks so fucking hawt in it ♥

He and Shura going to face Satan/Yukio alone while the others help out the citizens of the Academy and bring them to the shelter located at the Japan branch. Everyone except the ever so stubborn Shiemi. I swear to go God if she become a damsel in distress and get in the way of the fight, I am so gonna slaughter her.

that's practically a confession, Shiemi =3

And as expected of her, she appears just as Satan/Yukio defeat Shura. She fucking tries to talk senses to Satan, can you believe it? She's dead in no time at all and in doing so forces Rin to step forward from his hiding. Rin refuses to fight Satan/Yukio though so his dad is having a blast beating the crap out of him. This would have been awesome if the quality of the action is maintain. Unfortunately A1-Pictures' animation crew got lazy. It's still great though just not awesome.

even the fans can do a better artwork of the fight -_-

Rin manages to get through Yukio though (who is held captive VERY NAKED indeed in his own mind). He needs to fight his own inner demon but meh that's nothing to him. We all know that he would triumph anyway. This bromance that these two have, it transcend Assiah and Gehenna after all lol.

can you feel the bromance people?
(c) pixiv id 2889983

Unfortunately only half of him in under his control. The other half of his body still under Satan's control and it is the perfect opportunity to fucking shot Rin. But fuck I didn't expect Yukio to fucking point the gun to his own head!

Don't do it Yukio!

Fuh, I almost had a heart attack. Jeebus don't you scare me like that, Yukio. I'll quit this show if you are dead! Hooray for Rin for stopping Yukio from making that stupid decision. And just like that Satan left Yukio's body but he's not done yet. He still has so many tricks up his sleeves. He summons some humongous shit from Gehenna.

I wish Mephisto will just stop sitting around and do something, damn it!

p/s: I think [gg] fansub should win an award for the subs they did for this episode XD

Ao no Exorcist: Episode 23

I am actually pretty excited to catch up to this episode. Yukio as Satan? This ought to be good =3

Ernst, that old fucker... if he failed to open the Gehenna Gate, he would destroy the Academy with the Messiah war head. Yukio would have shoot him otherwise but thinking of all the lives at the Academy, he just can't do it though to be honest, I would have shot the old fucker no matter what and will think of ways to stop the Messiah next. But hey, I like that he's righteous. And I like the fact that he offered himself instead in exchange of letting Rin go. Oh fuck how noble ♥

heh so bad ass XD

Yukio is perhaps the best Satan could have asked for. He begin to absorb the souls from the Exorcists and kill them one by one with the blue flame. With the mix of the twin's blood, the demonic power just got stronger and thus they are able to open the Gehenna Gate as planned.

And just as planned, Messian was released. It worked for about a second though before the plan started to back fire. The old fucker was underestimating the power of the demon/Satan. Now that the Gehenna Gate is opened, there's no stopping the demons from assaulting the Assiah.

Mean while, Mephisto and Amamon (yes Amamon! He's alive... as a guinea pig? O_o) were looking from above at the proceedings. Seemingly like everything is according to his plan?

cute and adorable Amaimon ^__^

In the chaos, Fujimoto is back. Well, more appropriately, Satan is back imitating Fujimoto's voice to show Yukio the truth about how his mom died. I was not surprised to learn that the old fucker had his hand dirtied with his daughter's blood as well. Fuck he deserved to die.

Yuri was an Exorcist too. She is loved by all demons because she treated them equally and with respects like they are human. She even allowed Satan to possess her. She truly was some woman. I think even Satan fell for her and thus he didn't bring any harm during his time in Assian after he and her became one. That's how Rin and Yukio are come to be. Fujimoto was sent to get her back to the Vatican but people assumed he had her pregnant instead and was sent to jail. They did eventually listen when he told them the truth about Satan so after trial, Yuri was sentence to death. The tragedy of the Blue Flame happened because Satan was trying to find a vessel strong enough so that he can save Yuri. Unfortunately no one survived because his power was too great but he managed to use Ernst body though. So he and Yuri escaped. The old fucker sent Mephisto and Fujimoto to track them down and kill them.

Yuri gave birth to Rin and Yukio and died because of child labor. The ever so cunning Mephisto had the Kurikawa readied. He knew how soft-hearted Fujimoto was. He knew Fujimoto will want to raise those kids. They made a deal though. If Fujimoto succeed at raising them as humans, Mephisto will let them be but if they awakens their demonic powers, their lives would be his.

I'm glad that Yukio got to learn the truth instead of Rin. He deserved it I think Yukio engulf in blue flame is pretty hot too . And I'm glad he let the Gehenna took the old fucker. What I don't like is the fact that Satan thinks he has found the perfect vessel, just like he did with Yuri. Oh fuck.

And Rin woke just in time to see Yukio being possessed by their father.

p/s: In the middle of the episode, when the Gehenna Gate was opened, that dude, the ventriloquist with the puppet was narrating the whole thing! This is the first time any of us heard his voice right? He's still useless though.

Nyanpire the Animation

Surprisingly, I want to thank Gonzo for bringing Nyanpire the Animation, something that I thought I would never say regarding this show. After 2 years break, Gonzo came back with such a delightful anime. Having said that, I was pretty skeptical about this show at first for several reasons.

Reason number one why I was skeptical was because of the Nyan Cat phenomenon. I'm one of the minority who doesn't get what the hype with the looping gif of animated cat with a cherry Pop-Tart was all about. At the moment this episode was first aired, the interwebz was buzzing with the addiction for Nyan Cat and I thought Gonzo was just taking the shortcut to put money in the bag. Though they featured the family of feline, I am glad that it turned out to be quite different, being that these cats actually have a personality.

Reason number two is because this show's strongest point is the cuteness of Nyanpire. I was definitely not a fan at first but as the show progressed, it seems like even I can't deny the cuteness.

Have you seen the ending song? That in itself is the third reason as to why I was skeptical. Those who know me would have known that something like that does nothing but turn me off. Ami is too old to act cute like that in my opinion. I skipped the ending after the first episode. It was too moe for me.

I just lost my appetite

As expected from a 3 minutes show, there are not plots that link one episode to the other. All 12 episodes are stand alone episodes and can be enjoyed with side-dish. Each episode pretty much centered around Nyanpire dealing with his friends:
  1. Nyanpire - A cat who turned vampire when he got blood from a vampire to save him from the brink of death. He's pretty dumb and love anything that is blood red because it reminds him of... well, blood. He's pretty useless too.
  2. Meowsamune - A soldier cat who is in love with Nyanpire. He has some issues since Nyanpire is also a male but love conquers all. He is so dedicated when it comes to Nyanpire. Often the subject of Nyantenshi's bullying.
  3. Chachamaru - Nyanpire adopted brother who is more matured than Nyanpire despite the difference in stature.
  4. Vlady and Vampy - two bats who received the same fate as Nyanpire. They are quite mischievous.
  5. Misaki - The person who adopted Nyanpire and Chachamaru.
  6. Nyantenshi - A fallen angel that was banished from heaven because he banged God's wife. He loves to bully and reminds me of Date Masamune

My favorite cat has to be Nyantenshi for two reasons. His seiyuu is Jun Fukuyama and his personality itself is just right up my alley. I have a soft spot for bad and cunning guys, you see. Hats off to Noriaki Sugiyama as well. I guess this show shows his versatility. From Ishida Uryuu and Uchiha Sasuke to Meowmune? Awesome. Now I keep on imagining Uchiha with cat ears and tails =3

Maybe I was able to enjoy this show as much as I do because it's only 3 minutes long, and the fact that I skipped the ending. But yeah, Nyanpire the Animation is nothing brilliant or lace with thought provoking plot but the more I get to know the character the more I was taken in by it's charm. It is that simplicity that managed to bring a smile to my face. Or maybe I was just easy to please since I'm a character driven person after all.

Like I used to say, I like it when a show proved me wrong. It just mean that they have exceeded my expectations. Gonzo managed to do just that :)

Diary of a tard: Week 4, September 2011

Monday, September 19

It has been a while. Blood-C episode 6: Holy fuck, Nene is dead! She was beheaded by the centipede monster. Then it was Nono's turn. She was taken by a shadow monster or something. Saya was present at both scenes. Nene ad Nono weren't the only casualties though. People were killed like they were flies. This show would have been awesome if they didn't fucking censored it!

The final episode of No. 6. I was totally biased when I watched this and thus I see everything in tinted glasses including the absurdity of the whole conclusion.

Dantalian no Shoka episode 3: Huey and Dalian were invited to Camilla's villa (I like her straightaway) for tea. She then told them about the Book of Wisdom, another phantom book that has fallen in the hands of small children. They became so brilliant and evil at the same time. They let Huey and Dalian took the book though and burned it. That's that. The other half of the episode is about a carnivorous plant that bloom once in 13 years. It's petal bait looks like a book thus it's name "Queen of the Night". Dalian is rude to everyone I guess but Camilla knows how to deal with it.

Thursday, September 22

Episode 21 of Ao no Exorcist makes me disappointed in Yukio. I know he's better than that. Fuck that old fuck.

As for Bleach, who would have thought that I wanna make babies with Renji? Yep, he's that fucking badass in chapter 465. I hardly believe it myself.

Ikoku Meiro no Croisée episode 7: Claude isn't happy when Yune gives her bread to the kid who stole the candlestick. He practically snaps at her and calls her childish. Bad timing though because Yune is not feeling too well. Further more, Alice put this idea that if they haven't kiss each other on the cheek, that means s/he is not accepting you yet. She fainted and causes Claude to panic thinking it was his fault. He even swallows his pride and go to Alice for help. Awww....

highlight of the episode? lol

I'm not looking forward to episode 8 of Ikoku Meiro no Croisée because it's about Camille and Claude. Why can't Yune and Claude happen? He only need to wait a few years till she matured! Gah! But anyway, Alice invited Yune to a tea party and Claude tags along. There he meets with his old flame Camille. I can see Claude is still affected by her which means he must still have feelings for her. But Camille is a logical person knowing how different their social status are. She said that as if to accuse Claude for being so childish to take offense that she can't be with him. That makes me mad actually. Though in appearance she's perfect, she has a rotten personality. I'm glad that Yune triumph over her.

They are still having that tea party in episode 9 of Ikoku Meiro no Croisée. Most of the episode however is dedicated to Claude and Camille childhood days. I don't get it. Why does this show is suddenly about Camille and Claude? I am not jumping on the bandwagon dammit so stop forcing it down my throat!

that mouth... I wanna kissu!

Thank goodness there's no more reminiscing shit with Camille in episode 10 of Ikoku Meiro no Croisée. Claude is away on a business deal. He and his late father Jean weren't close and that's why he doesn't like it when people compares his works with his father. While he's away, Oscar, Yune and Alice have a little fun at the store when Oscar brings out the slide projector. They end up invite the whole Galery to join in on the fun too.

Yune asks permission to go to the Grand Magasin in episode 11 of Ikoku Meiro no Croisée but Claude says no. Grand Magasin is the enemy of the Gallery after all. Claude has been grumpy ever since that Camille episode but it seems like there is other reason why he's all mad and it has something to do with his dad. To make up to Yune, Claude brings her to a picnic in the park. Unexpectedly Yune broke down and for the first time since she's been to Paris, she tells Claude about her Shione sister. Shione has blue eyes and Japan does not like anything/anyone different so she was outcast. She was unhappy and as time went by turned sickly and blind. This episode also shows Claude insecurities. I don't think he will have it easy if one day Yune decides to leave.

The last and final episode of Ikoku Meiro no Croisée. Oh boy, Claude is really terribad at hinding his emotions. He pushes away people in order not to hurt himself. This is way too familiar for me to find comfort. I have never seen him that mad before, at Yune nonetheless. He told her to get out "but stay in the Gallery". Yune did get out to follow Yannick-san's cat and Claude thought she has ran away. Claude managed to find her though on the roof. Yune almost fell and that reminded Claude at the accident at Grand Magasin that took his father's life. All hope is not lost yet then since it seems like Claude do care a lot about Yune. It was a heart-felt and warm ending for this show. I give this show 8.6/10 :)

the embarrassed face of Claude is so moe :3

Nyanpire the Animation episode 10: Meowsamune thought that Nyanpire has some incurable disease and about to die when in fact he's just choking from a strawberry hull. So Meowsamune bought Nyanpire all sorts of health products which he forced Nyanpire to consume. But of course Nyantenshi came along and pointed out the fact that Nyanpire is immortal. Heh win.

Episode 11 of Nyanpire the Animation: It's the Halloween. While the other dressed up to the occasion, Nyantenshi went around threatening kids with sweets lol. As usual Meowsamune got the end of the stick with his ghostly costume.

The final episode of Nyanpire the Animation: Nyanpire just realized that he has eternal life and thus his friends will die before him. Since he didn't have a heart to see the death of his friends, he decided to follow the vampire that gave him immortality. But since he didn't know where to find him, "he" said that his place is still among his friends thus Nyanpire had a reunion with them who didn't even know what was going on.

Ao no Exorcist: Episode 22

Knowing that Yukio has taken the dark path, I am not looking forward to watch the rest of this small arc of Ao no Exorcist. I don't have much of a choice though. Despite my worries, I still have to see what will happen to these twin who have captured my heart.

The school is temporarily closed because Mephisto was taken into custody. The students have also learned about the new pope that was elected at the Vatican. The Vatican decides to take direct control of the cram school and the Orders. Yukio is assigned as the Head of the Japanese Branch. Not only that, he also received the title of Paladin. WTF? This only means trouble in my opinion because Aegis is just a fucked up in the head old man who only has revenge in that puny brain of his and he's using Yukio. I am not happy about this. Not at all.

shoot me Yukio, I will die happy ^__^

As expected, Ernst wants to fight the demons head on using the anti-demon weaponry that he has developed in secrecy over the years. I wonder if this old man is a filthy rich mother fucker. I'm sure he can't afford all these shits otherwise. He called that plan as "Jacob's Ladder" and Yukio is responsible for carrying it out.

The exorcists all get to choose a weapon of their fancy, even the students. The weapons are special in that it can absorb the demon blood. SHITS ARE DEFINITELY GOING DOWN as they vanquish the demons without mercy. The battles are one-sided. Not all demons are bad. I've learned this through reading Amatsuki. Some of the demons help protected certain places and play other roles for the sake of the humans. The Exorcists have turned into just plain cold-blooded murderers now.

Ernst is using the faith of the Exorcists to the Order and the Vatican to make them do what he wants. All for the sake of the religion. I fucking hate people like him, using religion as an excuse to create havoc and hatred. I mean, even in Malaysia we have people from a political party called PAS who is using Islam as it's cloak when they are just as greedy and corrupted as the rest of the dirty politicians. It grosses me out when people, seemingly with high intellects, fall for such lies. FUCKING WAKE UP YOU FUCKING MORONS!

Thankfully, the show finally reveals why Yukio took his grandfather's side. Knowing that he's doing all these for the sake of Rin makes me forgive him. I thought he didn't know any better and was easily fool, but I can understand why he made the choice. He cares for Rin too much to pass up on the opportunity to make Rin normal/turn back to human again. I can feel your brotherly love Yukio! Ernst also threatens Yukio about his demonic problem. Now that I know of his reasons, I want to give him a hug and make me hate that old fuck even more for using his own grandchildren.

Yukio is way over his head. It frustrates me to see him flaunting around his Paladin title to his students and to Rin. Problem with Yukio at the moment is just not about his resolve to help Rin but he is affected by the demon that resides inside of him as well.

that face *faps*

The promise of turning Rin into an ordinary human can only be achieved through Messiah, the ultimate weapon he has developed. In order to use it, the Gehenna Gate must be opened first. This is where Rin comes in. He and the weapons that the Exorcists have been using as well.

Rin is captured and placed in a cell besides Mephisto. Once Mephisto has learned what is going on, he escaped and leave Rin alone who apparently is sentence to death. There he meet Ernst for the first time.

Surprisingly Rin is so calm with the execution thingy. I like to believe that he has faith in Yukio and trust his younger brother will do something to save his ass. The others try to rescue him but Sir Auguste is to kill anyone who interferes with the execution ceremony. The weapons start to draw demon blood an thus the ceremony has started.

before

after

Ah damn, where the fuck is Yukio!

And just like that Yukio realized he has been lied to and what the fucking fuck happen after the old fuck opens the Gehenna Gate? Yukio is possessed by Satan himself. FUCK WHAT?!

I was shocked too, Yukio

I'm loving this XD

First Impression: Busou Shinki Moon Angel

What is with the trend of 5 minutes airing time per episode nowadays? Anyway, I was all about giving this show a go, knowing the fact that it might be dropped after the first episode. I'm not a big fan of mecha after all, even more so when the mecha itself are moe lolis.

(c) Momo

Oh, I stand corrected. They aren't really mecha. They are some sort of a robotic toys called Shinki that every boys in town want to own at least one. The show started with two Shinki fighting each other. The blonde was damaged in said fight and went unconscious when she took the fall. It just so happen this kid Tsubasa (who really want a Shinki) found her perched on a tree. He thought that he has found a normal Shinki who was thrown away. He took her in not knowing that the real (evil) masters are looking for her.

And that pretty much concludes the first episode. What does you expect from a 5 minutes episode?

Though it's not bad, it doesn't have anything that appeals to me either. With that said, this one is dropped like I know it would.

First Impression: Working'!!

The most anticipated anime for the Fall, at least for me it is. I have been whining for a second season ever since the last episode of the first season was aired in June last year. I am just head over heels in love with this show. Imagined how fucking ecstatic I am when I heard that A-1 Pictures finally coming up with the new season in Fall.

(c) Inojita Mukamo

Working!! is a character driven show and most probably the reason why it appeals to me so much to even named it as my number one anime of 2010. I just love how the characters in these show interact and complimenting each other. Just thinking about them makes me want to gush and what not. Uguuu~♥

The first episode of the second season continue from where it left of. Inami still has issues dealing with men even though he can interact with Takanashi pretty casually now. Poplar still takes offense when people call her tiny and pet her head. Yachiyo is still gay for Kyouko. Takanashi still has weak spot when it comes to anything that is remotely cute. Yamada is still as clumsy and address herself as a third person. Kyouko is still a useless manager. Souma Satou-san are still as cunning but only cuter :3

Others might be put off with the fact that nothing changed but I am glad. Their eccentricities what makes this show awesome and if they changed that, then this show will be just like any other slice of life anime. I certainly don't want that to happen. As for the plot, I am sure they will pick up soon enough.

Oh fuck it, I'm not gonna say anything more because I'll just be so fucking biased about it anyway lol. But I have to say this: Takanashi comparing Poplar with a bug gotta be the highlight of this episode for me. It just comforting for me knowing that Poplar is just to happen to be his fetishes and nothing more than that. Heh, you see, I'm a pro Inami/Takanashi shipping...

lol I'm so hopeless sometimes.

So yeah, needless to say, I can't wait to fap to this show every week. What a great Fall this is going to be ^____^

this can be misinterpreted in so many ways lol

Ao no Exorcist: Episode 21

After wreck havoc at the academy, Neuhaus wife ran to Shiemi's place and lost consciousness there. Shiemi who doesn't have a clue of who she is, helps her out. Neuhaus on the other hand was brought in for questioning. Since they all knew his family is dead, they suspect that he quickened her but he denies it. He claims that his wife was revived from the dead and a demon has possessed her thus the spider web.

After listening to his story, there is no way Rin could sit still and do nothing so he goes after her. He would have kill her too if Shiemi doesn't stop him but unfortunately the Vatican decides to interfere. Rin is quickly taken care of by Auguste (how weak but experience > Satan's power I guess) but not for long. Being the hero that he is, Rin stops Auguste from landed the killing blow on Michelle (the name of Neuhaus' wife by the way).

This is the main problem with men who is so extreme with his believes. They can't see clearly through reasons. It is either black or white, no in between. But this is a good chance for Rin to redeem himself with Michelle. Now she's more confused than ever as to why a Satan's son would helped her. She figures it out eventually that Rin isn't the bad guy and even takes a fatal bullet for him.

Good job Vatican. You have just declared war with the son of Satan.

In the mean time, Yukio is having a reunion dinner with his grandfather on the train where he learns for the first time in his life, his mother's name: Yuri. The reason why his grandfather suddenly decided to reveal himself is because Mephisto has been taken into custody thus leaving the twins without a guardian. He feels like he needs to step up to the plate and be a responsible grandfather.

Apparently Yukio's grandfather was confined after the tragedy of the Blue Fire by the Vatican. He lost everything that night including his daughter Yuri who the Vatican thinks need to be disposed of since she was carrying Satan's spawn. Ah shit. This is just great. This old dude is poisoning Yukio's mind with thoughts of revenge. I dislike him already.

Well, at least Yukio still questions why he is the only one who is brought in. It eases my worry a little when he still so concerns of Rin. But of course since Rin has awakened, bringing him along to the Dragoon Laboratory would be risky since it's an anti-demon weaponry factory. The Order of the True Cross knows nothing about this laboratory of course since he thinks that they have become naught but puppet to Mephisto. As expected this old fuck wants Yukio to join him.

Ah fuck damn it. I'm pissed knowing where this will lead.

I have no doubt that this old fuck was the one who revived Neuheus wife too. He also has taken over the Grigori put himself on the pedestal. He calls for an urgent summon to confirm his taking over the Vaticana and declares war on the demon. And as expected, Yukio is right there besides him.

Fuck.

You phailed me Yukio. I knew you are better than this T__T

Bleach: Chapter 465

The chapter starts with a color page of Ginjou looking like a dumbass maniac in a skull power-ranger suit. I guess Kubo is trying to make Ginjou looks formidable. Well, he's not. None of the Xcutioners are.

And Kubo isn't showing the main fight between him and Ichigo just yet. That color page is just an appetizer. First he brings us the fight between Ikkaku and Shashigawara instead and boy Ikkaku gets his hands full with this one since he can't figure out where does his strength comes from. But not for long. When Shashigawara dislocated Ikkaku's shoulder, that just set the warning bell ringing and Ikkaku set it right again with just his muscles. Shashiwara almost peed in his pantsu when he sees that. Heh that is so Ikkaku.

Second is the fight between Renji and Jackie. He is being a gentleman for a change for refusing to attack Jackie first who apparently has a motorcycle engine perched on her shoulder like a parrot with pirate. She just goes on and on at how fucking strong she is. She used that engine to create filth so that it covers her entire body thus making her stronger. Urgh, she can't get any more befitting full-bring if you asked me. What a slut. I love it when Renji doesn't even flinch or draws his zanpaktou when she attacks him. That attack doesn't even scratch him and this obviously just enrages the slut. Even more so when Renji mocks her.

What Renji said is what I've been saying in the last episode. These shinigamis are at least a 100 years old and they have been training to defeat Aizen. These n00bs don't stand a fucking chance but it still is fun to see them putting a fight though.

I don't hate Renji but I don't like him either. This chapter however might just changed my opinion of him ^__^

Ah damn Kubo. I want to see Byakuya kicking Tsukishima's ass!

Anime: Fall 2011

Fall is upon us. It's time to update my Fall list and brace myself for a another couple of weeks of checking out new anime for the season. Nothing much differs from my previous selection of what to watch, ignore, considered etc but I did change my mind on couple of shows.

(chart thanks to Nelson)

(chart thanks to Neregate)

As usual I'm gonna divide this anime into several categories. First category is the MUST WATCH (indefinitely) shows:

  • You can tell I'm pretty fucking excited for Working'!!, can you not? I've been praying for the second season ever since I saw the last episode on June 29 last year. Hopefully the relationship between Inami and Takanashi will develop into a deeper more mature relationship. I can't wait to see Takanashi crossdressing again, among many other things ^_^
  • A noitaminA slot anime. There's no way I'm missing Un-Go.
  • Lupin III. I don't need reason for this.
  • To be honest I am not so sure about Guilty Crown until I saw who directs it. Although I am not a fan of his latest project HOTD but Araki Tetsurou has done more than proves himself with Death Note. Further more, this is produced by Production I.G. I can tell already that I would love the art and animation if judging by the character designs (from the chart) alone. Besides it's on noitaminA.
  • Alright, I am now totally excited with Kimi to Boku. I love a story about friendship among boys (yeah I'm limited like that) and I believe JC Staff will not fail me this time. I just hope that Chizuru doesn't turns out as a tsundere (Please JC Staff! Please deviates from your normal route of a tsundere anime!). So this show is replacing Fate/Zero for the time being ^_^
  • I don't play the game but I know I will enjoy Persona 4 The Animation. Why? Because I've seen enough yaoi fanarts of this show to get me excited. I know who else gonna watch this though. None other than Glo the Legend because Rie Kugumiya is in it. On a side note, if you are as clueless about the game as I am, maybe reading @fkeroge's explanation would help.

Shows that have the potential to be something more than average:

  • Since Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing features new characters, setup etc, then I will try this one out.
  • I know many people is excited with Fate / Zero. Previously I put this show in a MUST watch list but since I couldn't share the same enthusiasm about this show (unfortunately I've never really got myself "into" Fate much), I have no doubt that I will be a little slower at catching up the episodes.
  • I am not too sure about Mobile Suit Gundam Age but I've been following the franchise so I might as well.
  • I read the manga back when I was a manga whore. I can't really recalled what it's all about but if I read it, that means it must be at least good so I'm gonna see if Mirai Nikki lives up to my expectation or not.
  • I think I read about Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai in Glo's ISSS sometimes ago. I'm too lazy to look up for it but that gives me enough reason to check this show out.

List of shows that could be dropped if it turns out very predictable and cliche after the first impression post, or if I don't like the characters at all.

  • I remember my friend Daniel from the Gotei 13 who is so adamant that I read the manga of Hunter X Hunter and though I promised him, I never actually managed to. I feel bad about it so I'm gonna check out the anime instead.
  • One more mecha anime this Fall where the pilots looks like middle schoolers. I don't think Busou Shinki Moon Angel will appeal to me much.
  • Chihayafuru is an anime sport? I don't know what 'karuta' is but now I'm intrigued. Apparently this one is a josei.
  • I've read Maken-Ki and then put it on hold after the first arc. I remember it's a tad ecchi but I am usually more tolerant to ecchi manga than an ecchi anime so...
  • I still haven't watch the other Tamayura franchise but I will check out Tamayura ~Hitotose~ and see if it's a stand alone show or not. If it is then I might actually consider watching this one.

Shows that will be on my pending list because I haven't manage to watch the first season/prequel/whatever:

  • Sekaiichi Hatsukoi
  • Shinryaku!? Ika Musume
  • Fujilog Second Season
  • Shakugan no Shana III
  • Bakuman Second Season
  • Zero no Tsukaima Kessakusen

Shows that I won't bothered with except if I'm really bored and has nothing better to do than waste my time raging. In other words, the shitty shows. It could also be the show that I'm curious about but know that I only watch the first episode to prove that I'm right at how bad it is:

  • Chibi Devi! sounds too much like Beelzebub and the animation looks like it was too cute for my taste.
  • Looking at the synopsis, it was puzzling. Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle sounds too shallow for a good show but who knows if Junichi Satou, the director, can do a convincing job in making this one an exciting show. Then again, I have always dislike Sailor Moon >_>
  • It's all depends on Jun Fukuyama. If his character is believable then I might just watch Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon. Otherwise this will go to the waste bin.
  • Mashiro-Iro Symphony is using the same retarded harem material. I think I'll pass.
  • Oh noes, another harem anime? I expect an ecchi show so I'm gonna avoid Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! I don't care if it used exclamation mark in it's title. That's their deceiving tactic! I'm not gonna fall for it unless it turns out to be really funny and random.
  • Naked girl? C3 is another ecchi anime of the season. No thanks.
  • I have nothing against Battle Spirits: Heroes but it looks like a kid show and trading card games. Since I'm not into both, I'll skip it.
  • Same goes for Cross Fight B-Daman. What the hell is that shit anyway?
  • I read the synopsis and almost fainted at how fucking ridiculous Ben-to is. NOPE.
  • What is it with anime nowadays: moe and music seem to be the popular choice nowadays. I doubt I will enjoy Shinmachu MiRiKa 2nd Series. What what? This shit got a second season? O_o

My thoughts on OVA, ONA, OAD and Specials that matter to me:

  • Hidamari Sketch x SP is a Special two episodes to gear up for the 4th Season.
  • I'm a fan of Kami nomi so there's no way I'm gonna missed Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai: Yonin to Idol. This is just the intro for season three, I'm sure.
  • I'm not gonna missed the bishies in Vitamin X Addiction.
  • Unaired episode of Deadman Wonderland which I plan to finish anytime soon.
  • Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira simply because I can't missed anything from this franchise.
  • Eiyuu Densetsu: Sora no Kiseki the Animation is an adaptation of a RPG. That's all I know and it got me curious.
  • And then the usual suspects like Usagi Drop, Hourou Musuko, Yozakura Quartet ~Hoshi no Umi~, Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu: Sora ga Bokura no Nichijou, Kimi ni Todoke and Ikoku Meiro no Croisée: Yune & Alice.

Time for the movies!
  • I'm super excited for Tekken: Blood Vengeance. We hardly have anything bloody this Fall so I'm welcoming this movie with open hands. This also reminds me of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within for some reason. I must be going senile.
  • I need to get my hands on the first movie of Mardock Scramble!
  • The tag supernatural is enough to get my loads off Hotarubi no Mori e. The fact that Takahiro Omori is directing this just made me cum twice.
  • Toaru Hikuushi e no Tsuioku is a 50/50 for me but since Madhouse is producing it, maybe it's worth the watch.

My Top 10: Anime Blog or ISSS

It's time to continue on my quest to list all of the top 10 item/people/whatever that people have asked me. My last top 10 list of hated anime was from Glo and the top 10 list I'm doing today is also to respond to his question.

I don't really have any criteria on how I pick these top 10 anime blog/ISSS as my favorites. In order for me to enjoy reading an anime blog/ISSS, the post has to be something I can relate and resonate to not only based on the content of the post but from the flare and personality of the writer as well. If s/he managed to convey his/her personality into that post, I think s/he has done a great job as a writer.

The list will only consists of blog/ISSS that I frequent and it may or may not include some of the deceased blogs. Though I rarely ever posted comments nowadays, trust me I have been lurking and stalking whenever I have the time to spare. I reckon this list will have the usual suspects of some of the most well-known/popular anime blog/ISSS in the aniblogsphere. It's hard not to have them in the list, if you know what I mean.

So I guess... here goes, in no particular order!

For whatever reason, when I visit Sekijitsu, I get this tranquil and serene feelings. Maybe it's the whole layout of the blog but yeah, I love it. Sekijitsu has several writers but I gotta say that Bass has to be my favorite among them simply because I enjoyed his posts the most. And since I'm writing this, I might as well point out that Sekijitsu has one of the best seasonal anime previews in aniblogsphere. I would love to leave more comments on the blog but unfortunately my computer is gay and for some reason it doesn't allow me to post my comments. I think my computer is secretly envious of you guys.

Somewhat the only blogger who agreed with me that Detroit Metal City is one of the top 10 anime of the decade. It is always fun to read his opinion about certain anime and most of the time that opinion resonates with how I feel about that anime as well. Too bad he has been slow with anime-related posts nowadays. I hope his eyes get better soon, and hopefully he's not just using that as an excuse not to watch anime.

Glo is the one and only ISSS in my list. He's a big fan of Rie Kugimiya and is on a personal quest to watch every single anime that Rie has a role in. He is a brave man indeed. He is one of the earliest anime ISSSer (read blogger) that I followed and I never get tired of his rants and well... his bitchiness. He is most probably the only other ISSSer who has similar writing style to me as in we cuss a lot and just write whatever the fuck we want regardless if it make sense or not. I'm glad that he's picking up with his posts and watching anime like nobody's business again. Oh by the way, have you seen him in a pink flamingo suit? You MUST because he's GAR like that. Gosh why the fuck am I gushing? lol

Snark no longer watch anime, in fact he pretty much hates it now. Thus nowadays his blog is rarely updated and even if he did write a post, it wasn't about anime anymore. It was a shame really because I totally enjoyed reading his opinions on them anime. If Glo is my first ISSSer, Snark is my first blogger who I first followed and got me excited about writing my own anime blog, not that I need much persuasion at that moment but yeah, it was sort of kinda inspiring. Having said that, I still enjoy his once in a blue moon posts now. I hope he will come back from his anime slump and entertain us once again with his witty remarks and what not. Despite "deceased", Taikutsu Remedy remains as one of my favorites

The only blog I visit to read someone else's opinion about Bleach latest chapter. TJ is a guy who writes objectively about those chapters, something that I can't do because I'm too biased when it comes to the characters. Sadly though, Bleach is the only common ground we have because I have neglected Claymore, Naruto and Gantz for way too long. I plan on catching up though!

Those who doesn't know Scamp gotta be a n00b. He is practically the grandfather of the aniblogsphere. What amazed me is the fact that that 3 long years of surviving this harsh metaverse weren't wasted on pointless posts. Scamp's posts are often time controversial and open up many small discussions which are just a joy to read. What he says goes :P

There's another reason why The Cart Driver is my favorite. I fell in love with his writings. He is always so fluent with words. In all honesty, he makes me a tad envious maybe because he and I have a different style of writing. He affected me in real life. He makes me strive to write better stories and so I want to take this opportunity to thank him personally :)

If you want to read an editorial blog, there's only one name in this aniblogsphere that came to my mind which of course is 2-D Teleidoscope. This teacher is truly gifted in my opinion. I put him on a pedestal simply because I can't write a fucking editorial post lol. His topic of discussions are fun and most of the time reflects what I think. To put things simply, he practically stole those words from my mouth! XD

Omo writes it like he sees it. It feels like reading a diary. I love it. I think his way of writing is fresh and creative. However I still don't get that SAME joke. Do I have to watch Nichijou to get that joke? Orz someone explain it to me please!

Look at that moe header. Didn't you just go HHHNNNNGH? Admit it.

21stCenturyDigitalBoy needs no introduction in my opinion. He has absurdly deep knowledge about anime. Reading his post is like learning something new every single time and that what makes this blog interesting. If ever want to call a fellow aniblogger an otaku, it's him. However I am not entirely sure if he's comfortable with that tag. Oh man, this guy right here loves his tags.

Yumeka... the girl with all the ideas. Her posts are always about something that I wish I would have thought of. Unfortunately I just don't have the freaking time to spend and think of things to write which is probably my blog is deteriorating. Even if I did think of something to write, I simply doesn't have the luxury to write it because yet again, my free time is just freaking limited nowadays. So if ever want a topic to write about, I could always expand her posts :P

Also, she is a big fan of Haruhi Suzumiya. I think we get along just fine ^__^

And that is the end of the list.As you can see, I am not a fan of episodic anime blog/ISSS because I tend to fall behind on the episodes and will try my best not to see/hear/read any spoilers about the show that I'm watching. This mean, most of the time, I have to ignore the episodic blog/ISSS unless I have caught up with the episodes.

There's also another reason why I don't feel attached to anime blog/ISSS. It's because they have several writers and thus in my opinion, the blog as an entity kinda lack the personality and less consistent in it contents.

This blog of mine has been around for six years. Though the essence of the content has changed since it was first started, I am still happy with the fact that I manage to run it this long. This blog is still my most convenient way to express how I feel whether it is about anime or real life situation.

However lately I have been too damn busy to keep up with the aniblogsphere and has a lot of episodes to catch up. It affected my input and thus the output turned out to be quite pitiful. Hopefully one of these days I get my rhythm back.

As an end note, here are more anime blogs that I think worth mentioning because sometimes they provide me with a good read as well:

I like Yi and I enjoyed her post when it has nothing to do with yuri. She has great eyes for details when it comes to fashion in anime. That is just something I usually don't give a damn about but she touches the inner girl in me so to say lol. I wish I can relate more with her posts though.

Just like the name suggested, I visit Canne whenever I want an anime review. I think she has been so consistent with her contents. It also has some very interesting editorials in the mix. Hmm, come to think of it, the blog has been running for 3 years and more now. Thanks for keeping it up Canne!

And that concludes this list of My Top 10: Anime Blog or ISSS ^_^

ps: I doubt that anyone care about this list though.

pss: I edited this list and added Canne. I dunno how the fuck did I miss Canne in the first place Orz >_>
