Bleach Trading Figures Series 2

I got my hands on these figures not long after I acquired Kira and the figures from series 6. I am just too lazy and quite frankly too busy to review on them sooner. Minus these figures, I still have 8 boxes of figures that I have been neglected and unopened including figma Tainaka Ritsu which arrived earlier this month together with Lucky.Star puchi dressing up as characters from Street Fighters.

Series 2 consists of 4 characters from Bleach: Kurosaki Ichigo, Kuchiki Byakuya, Inoue Orihime and Urahara Kisuke. Three of these characters are my absolute favorite. I believe you know which one I'm talking about.

Lets talk about Ichigo's bankai figure first. Despite that he sometimes gets overshadowed by my other favorite characters like Grimmjow and Ulquiorra, I still have a soft spot for him. He and Rukia are the essence of Bleach. I cannot enjoy Bleach without these two characters around, preferably together ^_^

If you look closely, he has a plaster on his right cheek.

Doesn't he looks dashing in his ragged shikakusho and bandaged abs? I want to see if any of the manufacturer will adopt his hollowfication form, badass with slightly longer hair form and last but not least, his Mugetsu form. That will be just so fucking sick man. Him with longer black hair? Fap worthy.

As for this figure in particular, it comes with two different heads: his normal face and his Vaizard mask face. Since I took these pictures so many moons ago, I completely forgot to change his head to the Vaizard mode and is now too lazy to take another picture of him with the Vaizard mask. I'm sorry.


I love looking at the back of this figure. I got the impression that he's strong and pretty much a bad ass but still there is warmth emanating from him that kinda sooth you and convinced you that he will protect you. It must have to do with the black ragged shikakusho, his broad shoulders and his pose. We have seen him taking this exactly same pose numerous times in manga and anime, no?

Let's move on to the other figure. I have repeated a few times of the fact that I'm RPing Byakuya in a group in facebook and have been doing so since 2005. Before I RP him, I am indifferent about him. I'm not exactly please with how he is willing to sacrifice Rukia for the sake of upholding the stupid rules of Soul Society but he doesn't annoy me either. It is only after I started with the RP that I appreciate his aloofness, cold and stuck up attitude because it just makes RPing him so much fun.


Byakuya and his scarf are inseperable. Even when he lose his captain's haori, he still has the scarf around his neck. Wonder if he takes it off during the summer... Does Soul Society has different season?

Contrary to Ichigo, I like seeing Byakuya from up front. He has that commanding attitude even when sculptured into a 7 inches figure. Besides, I love his pose. It's like he's ready to go bankai on me, just waiting for me to screw up. LOL

Enough about Byakuya, now to Urahara Kisuke, quite possibly the most genius shinigami ever live. SPOILER ALERT: After all he did defeat Aizen, supposedly the most genius shinigami around.


Somehow I always forgot that Urahara has been around ever since the earlier chapters of Bleach. He's not exactly forgettable but I just got confused with the time line sometimes.

This figure is of him as the 12th Division Captain. We only found out about this piece of information during the Turn Back the Pendulum Arc. This is when he truly changed my mind about his character. For the first time, I see how bad ass he really is despite his nonchalant attitude. So I learn to take him seriously.


You have to admit that he looks so much better in a captain's haori instead of the shopkeeper outfit he wears. You can argue that you missed his signature straw hat and clog and I'll accept it because he does owns that look, however you will not incline to take him seriously in that outfit.


I love how loosely he wears his captain haori too. It fits his personality perfectly. In fact, all the captains have their own style of wearing the captains haori, no? It kinda represents their personality, except for the old fuck and Ukitake, and maybe Toushiro.

If I have a choice, I would have trade in Whorehime with either Hisagi, Toushiro or Matsumoto. She's a waste of space. The figure of her in the series is from the Soul Society arc. I will not bother to explain more about it except maybe that her face looks mighty retarded. Reminded me of the baby turtle in Finding Nemo except that she is not cute at all. No, really. Enlarge the picture for proof.


Aight that's all for Series 2. Thinking back, Bleach is the reason why I got so into figures collecting, just like it is also the reason how I become such an animetard and a manga reader. My first ever figures are of Rukia and Ichigo. I have come a long way since then. Now I have almost a complete collection of the series, as well as three different figures from three different manufaturers: Kurosaki Ichigo from Megahouse, Limited Edition White Hollow Ichigo from Toynami and the latest, Hiyori Sarugaki from Alpha Omega.

This is some of the moment that I feel so proud of myself ^_^

Bleach Trading Figure Series 6

The complete set of series 6

I bought these figures at the same time that I bought Kira Izuru from series 4. God knows how happy I am to finally have Ulquiorra in my collection. Besides Ichigo and Grimmjow, he is the character that I care/love the most. I am still sadden by the fact that he has turned to dust and gone with the wind. I start to be very vindictive towards Kubo Tite from that point onwards.

Hope is not lost yet though. The latest I heard they said that Kubo will brings him back to life. Ah, knowing that is bliss. I hope the rumors are true.

Anyway back to the figures, I did not manage to get my hands on Ichigo so I still do not have a complete set of Bleach set figures. All in due time though.


I love the details on his arrancar uniform. I can see the pecks!I can honestly say that he is the one that inspired my arranklux uniform. Kudos to the sculpture for putting lots of effort with him. Just look at his zanpaktou and pale skin. Perfect!


I am not sure whether or not the figure of Rukia should be leaning that much but looking at her feet and the base, it were perfect fit so I am kinda confuse with her. Not the best figure in my opinion. I think they slacked off when it comes to her. She barely looks like Rukia. Having said that, her tiny body and Sode no Shirayuki in shikai form still make me fangirling.


Ishida and his cape. hehehe... I like how they made it looks like his quincy uniform and his cape are ruffled by the wind. Again, I like the details on this one. There is just something about the white uniform I guess. I have never been a fan of Ishida Uryuu but I think he's a good comic relief at unexpected time. And he definitely deserves to be with Inoue. If only that slut realized his feelings for him.

But yeah, lets not deviate. So there you go. Since I bought these, I have bought four other bleach figures. My collection is about to get complete. I'm ecstatic!

Bleach Trading Figures Series 1

The complete set of series 1

This is my favorite Series so far because Ichigo and Rukia technically are my first ever figures that I bought. I still remember how fucking excited I was back then and I still am. Part of the excitement comes from the fact that I am a HUGE IchiRuki fans (for canon OTP).

I really love the details on these figures

The only problem with this figure is Ichigo's butter knife zanpaktou. It bends after sometimes which kinda makes him looks like a pussy with bended sword like that. Other than that I am freaking happy with these two.

I got Renji few months later together with Gin and Aizen. You can't see from the pictures (because I was such a n00b with a camera back then and is too lazy to take another picture of him), but the details on his face is great. He got the tattoo and all and with his hair down like that, he does look slightly badass.


Zabimaru is made of the same material as Ichigo's zanpaktou but since Renji's zanpaktou can bend and what not it does not irked me like Ichigo's does. Again, I love the details. Bandai did a good job with these figures imo.

I actually has found Hitsugaya unfortunately the one that I found has lost his zanpaktou. The person who sells it even argued with me saying that the figure didn't come with any other accessories. I wanted to smack her face. Clearly she is useless and does not has a clue about the figures she is selling. She even think that Hitsugaya and Gin are the same person, only with different pose. I was like, shut up you whore! You are insulting a Bleachtard!

Gah people like this left me frustrated. /rant

Bleach Trading Figures Series 4

The complete set of series 4

After work meeting on January 22, 2010 at the Roost, my boss and I head out to the Junk Sale that happened once a month along Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, Johor Bahru starting at 6pm until midnight. As you can tell from the name, this is where they sell whatever stuffs that they want to let go. Like the saying goes, one person's junk is other person's treasure. Trufax.

It just so happened that one of the uncle has Kira together with 3 other Bleach figures that I have been searching for from the other Benpresto series.

I got the four of them at half the price. Fucking w00t!!


I really love the expression. It is dead on. I also love the posture of the figures. He is kinda slouching a bit. It gave him a slightly gangsta look. I like it.


Have you notice what is wrong with this figure yet? If you said Wabisuke, you are spot on. I did not notice the zanpaktou (the lighting at Junk Sale kinda dim, only powered by the street lighting) and did not bother to check it out properly before buying it because I was uber excited. My boss basically just facepalmed when I squealed and giggled and jumped excitedly when I saw the figures. Now he knows how much of a nerd I really am >_>

It is only when I was assembling him that I noticed his zanpaktou is not of Wabisuke but Zangetsu. I guess the uncle messed up when he sold Ichigo and gave the Wabisuke to the buyer.

I might buy another Kira if I found one with Wabisuke since Wabisuke is the reason why I think Kira kinda rock.

Reintroducing the Bleach's figures

Since I have obtained Canon 50D, I thought of re-introducing my figures so that they have better pictures. I thought I try to make a figuramo out of it. Here goes nothing...

Grimmjow: Yo, Aizen. Wanna go fuck up Soul Society?

Grimmjow: Whoa WTF?! When did you learn that jutsu, woman?
Rukia: *blush as she looks at his torso*
Grimmjow: Heh, like what you see, woman?

Ichigo: Not so fast! Come 'ere, Rukia.
Grimmjow: Tsk!

Ichigo: You perverted fucker!
Grimmjow: Hahahaha but she's so cute!
Ichigo: Shut up!
Rukia: *blushes*

Renji: *pants as he arrive at the scene*
Ichigo: What are you doing behind the tree, Renji? Taking a pee?

Ichigo: Now what the hell are you doing taking cover behind me and Rukia? Get her outta here!
Renji: Fuck you Ichigo. I'm trying to act cool here. Look at my hair
Grimmjow: Hahahahaha what a retard!
Rukia: *facepalm*

Renji: Take cover, Rukia!
Rukia: Oh shut the fuck up, Renji
Renji: *cries silently*

Grimmjow: Now that your woman is out of the way, lets finish this!

Ichigo: Alright.
Grimmjow: Ack! What the - @(*&#$*!! *dies*

Rukia: Watch out Ichigo!
Aizen: *smiles*
Gin: *grins*

Ichigo: Rukia, where is Renji? He is supposed to protect you!
Rukia: That bastard ran away at the sight of these two
Ichigo: Grrr... remind me to kill him later
Rukia: Roger that

Gin: Oya.. oya... what do we have 'ere?
Aizen: You have killed one of the most popular character in the series.
Ichigo: Like I fucking care.
Aizen: Have it your way then. Take care of these two, Ichimaru

Gin: Oh my, look at how much ya have grown, Rukia-chan? Such pretty face. Such pretty figures *licks lip*
Rukia: *shivers*
Ichigo: Get behind the tree, Rukia...
Rukia: *rolleyes* I can take care of myself, Ichigo
Ichigo: *facepalm* Just go, won't you, please?
Rukia: Hmph!!

Ichigo: Bankai!!
Gin: Oh shit... Aizen-sama!!

Aizen: Stand back Ichimaru. I'll handle this.

Hollow Ichigo: More like hand me your ass, Aizen.
Aizen: Oh fuck! I'm out of here!
Gin: *cackles as he too backs away*
Rukia: *gasps*

Rukia: Ichigo!

Hollow Ichigo: Oh crap, she saw me

With a flash of blinding light, Ichigo is back to normal and quickly reassured Rukia that everything is okay. They can make babies straight away.

meanwhile in Ichigo's unconscious mind, Hollow Ichigo beheaded a croc, thinking that it was Dondo's pet.

So that was my first attempt. I know it phailed but meh, the purpose of reintroducing the figures is achieved and that's that. The only figure that I didn't reintroduce is Megahouse Kurosaki Ichigo because he's too freaking big and won't fit with everyone else.
