Working'!! Episode 13

It's the final episode of Working'!! season 2. I would have watched this sooner but I saw some major spoilers in the twitter. This is where my short-term memory lost served it's purpose in my life. I waited a few days and though I generally has an idea what the episode is going to be, I have forgotten the details. I would have waited till all off that input erased from my brain but I just can't. Not when it's Working'!!

Right. Now on to episode 13: Poplar managed to grow a centimeter and thanks to that she was able to reach the report roaster. Though this is good news for Poplar, it was a terribad news for Takanashi which explained the title for this episode; "Farewell Poplar". For the first time though, he has an accomplice. Satou didn't like it either but both of them have totally two different reasons.

Takanashi pretty much lost his composure and since this wasn't his first time, it was something that we have seen before though it never ceased to amaze me. He started calling every other female employees an old hag and looked at them with disgust. LOL I would have treated him like a punching bag XD

Since Inami is in love with him, she can't help but worry for him and she shared this with Aoi, the last person you ever wanted to confide to. She put some ridiculous ideas into Inami's head, like Takanashi is in love with Poplar. This just made Inami worrier than before. Aoi went after Poplar to get the gist of things. She asked Poplar if she is worrying about anything. Poplar then said that she should be worrying about her future. All her friends are going to cram school to prepare for the entrance exam and if she wanted to do the same, then she might have to quit the job. As expected of Aoi, the news of Poplar quitting spread like wild-fire.

Everyone was obviously sad when they heard it and as usual, Satou and Takanashi were the most affected by that news.


But at least there was something good that came out of it. Inami asked Takanashi if he is going to quit Wagnaria too if Poplar quit. After all, he started working there because of Poplar. His reply makes me smile from ear to ear.

Kirio did visit Wagnaria but was sent out by Takanashi in less than a minute lol. He ended up giving Poplar some advice for the entrance exam but just like Aoi, he was useless too. He wasn't the only one who gave her advice though, so were the rest of her co-workers which only emphasized her needs to start worrying about her future. Damn, she's not really gonna quit now, is she?

And once again, the megane girl got her introduction, just like she did in the final episode of season 1. Since all she cares about is being normal, it was understandable that she remained as props in the background for the past 12 episodes. But this is Wagnaria after all where the employees weren't normal at all. Even if she was the odd one out, it was only natural that she would be pulled into the abnormality by force. This happened every time she had a conversation with the other staffs. Things, I assumed, would have been more wretched (read: hilarious) if we got to see this more often.

Thanks to her "normal" advice though, Poplar made up her mind that she can do her part time job and studying as well. Well duh!

Satou and Takanashi also found out that Poplar didn't actually grow taller, she just got better at stretching. And that's the end of it.

Quite a let down compared to the final episode of season 1. Lots of things are still waiting to be concluded, like I have said in the previous episode but with how they let this season ended with such open-ended situation, it is safe to assume that we are getting a season three of this awesome and amazing show. I can't complain much now, can I? ^__^

Working'!! Episode 12

Inami broke her personal record for successfully restraining herself from punching Takanashi for more than a fortnight now. When she told this to Poplar and Aoi, they both panicked thinking that she's sick and something must be wrong with her. LOL gotta love that reaction. Inami decided to train by herself and stopped depending on Takanashi too much to cure her androphobia. She asked Poplar and Aoi to help her out and keep it a secret from Takanashi as well.

So they dressed Inami up as a boy since Kyoko was no good because her breast is too big. Little did she know where Aoi got that boy's uniform from. Heh.

Since that didn't work, Aoi suggested that Inami faced the boys head on instead of avoiding them because that was basically her running away from her problem. It's not like Aoi was wrong but this could be fatal for the guys at Wagnaria. Thankfully the only victim was Daisy heh.

and yet...

Inami told Takanashi of her achievement in person and Takanashi offered that they text each other out of the blue. Obviously Inami was more than thrill about it. She even broke her phone from too much excitement. I was surprised to find Takanashi literally waited for her text that never came. He was disappointed and I am sure the rest of us have feel that way at least once in our life, as we looked at our phone every few seconds hoping that it will bleep indicating a phone call or a text from that one person you hold above the rest. It was torture.

Izumi saw how stressed Takanashi was and knew right away that he was waiting for a text from his girlfriend. She was sad at first and hoped that the girlfriend will not send the text so Takanashi will break up with the girlfriend and take care of her forever but once she saw how affected Takanashi was, she didn't have the heart to deny his happiness. LOL I love this part of the show when everybody else thought Takanashi was happy because of the picture of the kitten that Inami sent him, when in fact, he was just happy that Inami did text him after all ^_^

But lets not forget his rival, Kirio who literally falling from the sky not a second after Takanashi thought about it. Takanashi didn't waste anytime and warned him not to bother Inami anymore. He also told her the development of his friendship with Inami and Kirio knew right away that the person Inami likes was him. LOL stop being so clueless Takanashi!

On a different story, Aoi was locked out from Wagnaria. Everyone thought the she was already asleep in the attic when in fact she was out reading manga and lost the track of time. Heh served her right. If Satou didn't notice something was not right, she would be sleeping outside in the cold, alone for the night. But Satou did notice something was not right so he went back and sent her to Poplar's house. Lucky her.

With this episode done, that left only one episode to go. I already feel so sad about it. I am a tad worry too. There are still so many issues to resolve like whether or not Satou will success at his goal, or will he quit Wagnaria, will Takanashi finally realized his feelings for Inami, how about Kirio... will he meet Aoi or will Souma keep them separated? Doesn't it makes you curious as to why Souma does that?

So I expect a third season of Working'!! That would have been the one of the greatest joys of my life and I am not even kidding about it.

Working'!!: Episode 11

It looks like this episode will be about many random things that happened at Wagnaria:

1. Yamada lost her Daisy, the stuffed bear that Souma bought for her the other day. Takanashi offered to cover her shift while she looked for it. In return, he wanted to hold Daisy once she found it heh. Inami and Poplar helped her out but in the end, it was Satou who put it back into the attic.

2. The reason why Yachiyo isn't making any friends is because she was always surrounded by Mashiba #2 and Kyoko. That makes her self insufficient as well. Satou confronted Mashiba #2 about it but she didn't take it very well which consequently made Satou confessed the truth about his feelings for Yachiyo. Did you know that Satou has been in unrequited love with Yachiyo for four freaking years. lol I know how you feel, Satou-san. You have my sympathy.

Anyway, little did they know that Yachiyo heard bits and pieces of their conversation and misunderstood it. (un)surprisingly, she was affected by it. Everyone noticed it and Satou deducted that she either overheard them or Mashiba #2 ratted out. He finally decided that enough is enough. He gonna end it and if he failed, he will quit his job.

Oh shit, I think Satou will end up leaving Wagnaria if this continues. Liking/loving someone for four years and then suddenly decided that you want to stop... that's impossible, especially when that someone is so near. Oh man... I really do hope that Yachiyo finally realized her feelings soon, because from her reaction, she obviously likes Satou too. If only Satou confessed to her instead of going around the bushes all the time. Jeebus, why the hell I am the one being nervous?

I'm sorry Satou. I love you but...

3. Nazuna decided to help out a little when she saw her brother having a rough time. She learned self-defense from Kozue, how to be an adult from Izumi and Kazue. None of it actually be any use to help out Takanashi.

Working'!!: Episode 10

Heh it looks like this episode will focus on Inami's androphobia. Takanashi had already been punched once in less than a minute. Next up was probably Satou-san who was on a break. Kyoko must have messed up the scheduled. Inami wasn't supposed to be on a break with a guy. This however led to a misunderstanding on Inami's behalf. Because Satou looked so calm and collected, she thought that he was challenging her to see if she will go through the break without punching him when it fact he was thinking that he might die lol.


She accepted the "challenge" and started some small talk with Satou. She ended up threading on thin ice when she mentioned about his love interest. However, she managed not to punch him and got complimented for it but that didn't mean that Satou isn't affected. I think he almost pissed in his pantsu lol

Inami excitedly told Takanashi about her progress but he wasn't the least impressed, even more so when Inami mentioned Kirio, which in turn made Inami nervous. She backed up to the boxes that Kyoko recklessly stacked earlier. To save her from the falling boxes, Takanashi did the unthinkable (which I greatly approved of).

Inami was pretty stoked about what had happened and thus she tried her best not to come near Takanashi because she just might punched him to death in her excitement. (un)Surprisingly Takanashi wasn't happy being avoided by Inami though he never admitted that. When he saw her taking a nap at the break room, he can't resist to pat her head and voila!

Unfortunately Inami woke up in the middle of his amusement and realized what he had done. She ended up not coming to work for few days. Souma-san used this opportunity for some mind games with Takanashi. Fun times indeed, especially when they found out that Inami was sick. Since Inami's parent think Takanashi is a girl, he didn't have a choice but to dress up as Kotori-san in order to visit her at home, even though her mom knew he was a guy.

I missed you, Kotori <3

On a different note, Poplar ended up locked up in the freezer. Poplar accused Satou-san for that when it fact it was Aoi who did it. In the mean time, Aoi kept going on and on about cellphones >_>

Working'!! did it again. I said this every week but they just get better with every new episode. Now I can't help but wish for a third season of Working'!!

Working'!!: Episode 9

The title for this episode is "Love is Global" so naturally I am stoked to see what this episode has in store for me. As expected, it dived straight into the romance of Yachiyo and Satou. Turned out Yachiyo is bad with machine and cellphone scared the bejeebus out of her. They managed to convince her to get one and thanks to Souma's suggestion, Satou got to take her out during lunch break to look and buy one cellphone for her. Chance!

*chuckles*

I absolutely entertained by the store clerk that attended Yachiyo and Satou. She sort of reminded of Satou to be honest, maybe because of the hair? Yachiyo isn't good with store clerk either but it can't be helped with her carrying that katana around her waist like that lol

There were definitely some development between Satou and Yachiyo though Satou was pretty much skeptical of the whole thing, and understandably so I might add. When Yachiyo asked him to put in his number in her new cellphones, his thought was that she memorized Kyoko's number and that pissed him off. When Yachiyo said she wanted to send text to him, he already knew that Yachiyo wanted to tell him all about Kyoko lol

Back at Wagnaria, Yohei came to visit and helping out. He almost got raped by Takanashi's whore sister who have no qualm undressing wherever and whenever haha. She even asked him to marry her and he would experienced the German suplex if Takanashi didn't save him. Run Yohei! Run! Shoo shoo!

Yohei didn't came alone. Mitsuki came too because Souma asked her to bring Yachiyo's pictures when she was a kid. She and the gang is very protective of Yachiyo and made it a big deal if anyone else besides Kyoko call her by her first name. Obviously Satou do call Yachiyo by her first name and Mitsuki tried to put a stop to that with no success. It however uncovered a nasty truth for Satou.

Mitsuki then decided that they (Yohei and somehow Kozue as well) have to stalk the place to make sure that Yachiyo is safe. Kozue definitely can read the situation better than the two twin. She knew now that Satou is in love with Yachiyo. I wonder what she will do with that knowledge.

On the other hand, Takanashi was pretty harsh with Yamada today. Though she might not admit it, Yamada actually look up to Takanashi and when he went berserk on her, she ran away which consequently made Takanashi felt like an asshole for about... a minute and a half? lol Yamada you are hopeless.

I want to say that I was a tad disappointed that they don't do Takanashi and Inami but I suspect the rest of the episodes will wrap up the drama between those two as well as the meeting between Kirio and Yamada. I can't wait for that! w00t!!

Besides, it is always fun to see Satou handling his feelings with Yachiyo. I kinda feel sorry for him though. I've been in his shoes once and it was tough. Ganbatte Satou-kun!
