Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

Switch OVA

It was only recently that I got hold of the second episode of Switch OVA although it was released in February 2009. The first episode was released in fall season year 2008. As a bonus, I also got my hands on the stage performance. I didn't know they made a theater out of it. Cool ^_^

Based on a manga by Naked Ape, this OVA is about the two cops from the Narcotic Control Department (or also known as the Matori): Etou Kai and Kurabayashi Hal. I won't go into details on how these two are. You can read that from my review on the manga. Although this story is not exactly like the manga, it still have the key theme which is, you guessed it, SWITCH.

In this OVA, the Matori wants to stop the drug dealer Asaya that sells illegal drug named Funny Angel (F.A). Hal was sent working undercover to investigate Asaya and the elusive Kotetsu. Meanwhile Kai was sent to investigate a botanical worker named Katagishi. There, he met with Kagura Akito who I think could be the trap of this story *chuckles evilly*

In the middle of the investigation, Hal got a called from someone unknown and asked him about the key to Switch. I already know who that is because I read the manga. Spoilers sucks sometimes. It kills the suspense. Only a little though because the ending is pretty neat.

I bet we are going to have the series soon once the manga is a bit far ahead. This OVA is a nice setup.

Gah I love how cool Hal is! @_@

I can see why one might mistaken this as shounen-ai. They were kinda implied that situation in this OVA which is ridiculous because it's fucking NOT!

No BL guys... NONE

Alright that was it for the story. As for the art, there is nothing really special about it. It definitely does not stand out from the rest of the anime. It was not bad, but quite average in quality. I can't say that I am fan of the character design either because Hal if not Kai, is definitely hotter in the manga. But kudoes nonetheless because they kinda got their characteristics right.

They made Hal looks like Kira's twin brother -__-

Kai is not a redhead >_>

The OP and ED are pretty rock on. However I don't find it appealing. It was appropriate for the theme of this OVA though, just not appropriate for my ears. The seiyuu casts are excellent though. We have Jun Fukuyama as Kai. Who? Well, he's Lelouch. Win? Yes. We also has Takahiro Sakurai as Hal. He's the same seiyuu who does Kururugi Suzaku and Kusuriuri. Hell yes? Hell yeah!! The most awesome however is Tomokazu Sugita as Kagura. I mean, he's my favorite male seiyuu (Gintoki!!) so having him doing a serious character is still made of fucking win. Sugita just plain roxx0r!

No, I did not forget to mention how awesome your seiyuu is, Kagura @_@

So basically I like what Switch OVA has to offer. It might be your typical police/mystery gag but it still provide with some good suspense moments, even for me, a manga reader of the series.

Switch

Switch is a collaboration manga between Otoh Saki (story) and Tomomi Nakamura (art). Together they are known simply as the Naked Ape.

Switch featured the criminal investigator Kai Etou and his partner Hal Kurobayashi. These two do not see eye to eye, or I should say that Hal appeared to be very annoyed with Kai. They have totally opposite personalities so that's probably why. However as they work together, they created a bond between partners which run pretty deep.

Both of them are part of the Narcotic Control Department or Matori and their goal is to catch the Ryuugen, the most elusive drug dealer ever. So far Sawaki, one of the Ryuugen front men, has made himself known to Hal. This only increased Hal's determination to catch Sawaki and both the Right Arm and the Left Arm men of Ryuugen. Together with their comrades, Hal and Kai solve case after case hoping that it would get them closer to Ryuugen and crack the mystery behind [switch].

Hal can be considered the ace of the Matori. He is cool, smart and aloof and pretty much perfect as a cop. He is the kind of guy that won't make mistake in an investigation and who is not afraid of death if it means that he can get the work done.

Etou on the other hand screwed up a lot and caused the department substantial lost when it comes to catching their targeted criminals. But once he gets serious you don't want to be his enemy. He's like the police's psycho resident. The manga is yet to reveal what the deal is with his split personalities though. Even Hal is in the dark about it. The only one who might has the slightest idea about it is Hiki.

There are other interesting characters as well, like Sawaki. He's a badass badass. Very elusive and the only one who escaped from Hal. That gotta say something about him. There is Ibu, the self-proclaimed front man for Intelligence Department but he really does do most of the work. There is also this chic Mari who is an excellent drug appraisal expert. She has a crush on Kai. And then there are Keigo Kajiyama and Hiki Masataka. Keigo is the Chief of the 1st Division of Matori. Hiki is the big boss of Matori. He might be smiling all the time but he's very sly and you don't want to mess with him. He reminded me of Aizen.

I like the art. If I do not I would not have picked up the manga in the first place. However, the translator sucks sometimes. Sometimes I need to read twice to get what was going on in a panel. It has nothing to do with Otoh's story writing. I am just ranting because it can be frustrated at times.

Hal: my favorite character of [switch]

I recommended Switch to some of my friends and for whatever reason, they said they kinda read shounen-ai in between the lines. I said WTF?! because there is no BL in this manga. We even have Mari trying to get in Kai's pants all the time and Hal always pulls the ladies-man persona whenever he's undercover. So seriously, WTH man... I'm a big yaoi fans and if I can't detect any BL in this one, it means that it has NONE!

Diary of a tard - week 1, January '10

Sunday, December 3

Bamboo Blade chapter 88: the rivalry between Ryoko and Erina continues. Ryoko really needs to chill out and unclenched her butt-cheeks once in a while.

Are you Alice? chapter 4: Cheshire Cat really is an interesting character and the White Rabbit is the cutest usagi I have ever seen. In this chapter Alice was kidnapped by a little girl, and then in the middle of their conversation she sent Alice away when a monster appeared. I didn't understand what Cheshire Cat was trying to say though. Maybe that little girl is his mistress.

Take a look at Ladies versus Butlers. Definitely not for me. The same for Aki Sora >_>

Monday, December 4

Switch chapter 26: The found out that Shingo has gone bad. Obviously they were worried when they can't contact Hal who was with him. The same goes for Kai. Akabane brought him to a house that exactly looked like Kai's house 16 years ago. They even do the reenactment thingy. They are trying to refresh Kai's memory and somehow Hal was connected in this. When Kai saw Hal, he immediately trying to kill him. Apparently Hal's father was there on the day Kai lost his memory. And holy fuck that Akabane revealed that he is the Right Arm of Ryuugen! And all the shit about Switch was just to divert the police attention. They managed to arrest Akabane but the Left Arm came to his rescue. Shit.

Dammit looks like I missed several chapter of Replica. Gonna catch up on it now. Remember that small guy that looks like a girl? His name is Karu and the team taicho for Cards. When Karu transferred Akainu's wound to his self, he made a pact with him and now Akainu (also known as Manji) is Karu's pact holder. Whatever that is. One thing leads to the other and Akainu becomes part of Cards. Cards purpose is to destroy all toys made by AAA. Apparently Karu is one of the toy, just like Yuu Kanda. This manga reminds me a lot about D.Gray Man.

Tuesday, December 5

I cursed myself for watching the first episode of Chu-Bra!! Why the fuck did I watch that when I already know I'm gonna regret it? =\

At least So.Ra.no.Wo.To wasn't as painful...

Wednesday, December 6

The fighting sequences in Bleach episode 252 were pretty neat. Approved!

Thursday, December 7

Wasn't feeling too well for the last couple of days. Damn exhaustion...

Zettai Karen Children is back after almost 3 weeks of absence with chapter 200. The kids of P.A.N.D.R.A have transferred to the Children's middle school and Phantom Daughter plans on getting rid of them. She targeted Hino Kagari and hopes he will do something that he shouldn't. Fortunately Kaoru is around to stop him. Remember in last chapter how Feather sneaked up on Minamoto? She freaking told him she loves him. That pisses me off, man.

Picked up a new shounen: Zetsuen no Tempest. Looks promising with actions in between the drama. Its about these two kids: Mahiro Fuwa and Yoshino Takigawa. Mahiro went missing after his family was murdered. On the day a woman appeared looking for Mahiro (she wants to kill him), he re-appeared and revealed that he is a sorcerer. The 'iron-sickness' is not Mahiro's fault. If anything he wants to stop it from spreading by finding the strongest sorcerers: Hakaze Kusaribe. This manga is about magic and revenge. I think I will like it.

Doesn't he looks like a pimp Byakuya?

Crazy update from Bamboo Blade. 5 chapters in one go! They finally going to do the Kendo Girls TV thingy featuring Ryoko, Tamaki, Sakaki Ura, Ishizuka, Nakamura Miruka and Erina.

Everyone started to panic in Emerging chapter 13 so obviously Tokyo turn into chaos. Reading this manga really giving me the chills especially when there is no preventative measure planed for such outcomes. I hope Malaysia does have preventative measures when it comes to such disease... =\

In Kure-nai chapter 26, Yuuno back-slapped Kure-nai in attempt to save him. Gay. Hey but at least he got Ginko to attend to his wound. Lucky guy. But what did he do? He becomes emo. WTF... thank goodness we have Benika-san to put sense back into his head. Yuuno and her family disappeared btw. For sure they are being tortured somewhere *chuckles evilly* Oh yeah and Murasaki still gets on my nerves.

Arago becomes the police just like Ewan but not really a good one. He does his job but he's rude and overbearing and... you get the picture. He wants to be a CID and got what he wished in the end after he used his power to save a little girl. bah!

hehe I can't resist to check out this new seinen manga (Otoyomegatari) when I saw this:

pedophilia is legal! >=3

And then another one: Rappa. They haven't introduced the protagonist yet but the build up suspense was nice. Going to check out the second chapter before I commit to this one.

I saw the last episode of Hatsukoi Limited - Gentei Shoujo. Heh, I chuckled when Zaitsu came in with his righteousness crap. I think he's cute. And WTF Zaitsu gave her a fucking towel to dry herself off and what did she do? She fucking blind-folded herself. LMAO and ladies that's how Saoko falls for Zaitsu >=3

duh! you are naked for fuck's sake >_>

Friday, December 8

I was really looking forward to see the first episode of Dance in the Vampire Bund. But what did I get? Disappointment :(

What I didn't expect is how funny Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu is. It is nothing compared to Gintama but still it is pretty funneh. I might be watching this for the comedy.

Then I watched Omamori Himari. Urgh, I hate it. Dropped!

Saturday, December 9

I am glad to report that Durarara!! does not disappoint! Like I said in my Winter's prediction, this is definitely one of the show that I can't wait to catch up every week.

Ookamikakushi kinda promising so I am going to watch a couple of more episodes on this one and see if it goes downhill or up.

Completed Sword of the Stranger for the third time. This movie is fucking bloody awesome!!

Reviews for these anime will be up soon.

Diary of a tard - week 3, December '09

Sunday, December 13

For some weird reason I really have the urge to read Genshiken. I really enjoyed both seasons of the anime and it has been a couple of years since I last watched it, kinda missed the series.

Monday, December 14

The fight between Black.Star and Chrona contiues in chapter 68 of Soul Eater. Chrona got an upgrade. She grew a hand on her back and used three demon swords against Black.Star. Apparently Chrona's mind has been brain-washed by Medusa and she no longer remembers Maka. At the same time, Medusa had to face Justin Law who was more than ready to execute her ^__^

Read another new manga that I found by accident today: Bestia. The concept is pretty cool I think despite the set up and it's historical theme.

Tuesday, December 15

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun episode 11: Kiyama uses the accumulated Level Upper power that she has and it was pretty amazing. I would definitely do something like that if I have the capabilities. Fuck morality and ethics, in the end those with powers are the one controlling the world. Kiyama said that Misaka is one of the seven level 5 esper right? So... Have we seen the other one besides her and Accelerator? At half of the episode, they shows us Kiyama's flashback, as to why she did what she did. She mentioned that the higher ups are hiding something about the abilities of the esper: human experimentation. Heh, more plot twist. I approved.

Misaka's new enemy?

Denpa Teki na Kanojo part 2 did not disappoint at all. It was awesome @_@

Wednesday, December 16

I got a feeling I just met Byakuya's dad in Bleach episode 250 =\

Amatsuki is finally updated!! w00t w00t!! Chapter 45 and 46 tell the story of Ginshuu's suffering and show us the deep relationship that he has with Bonten. When Shinshuu was kidnaped by Byakuroku, they joined force to save her. When they finally found Byakuroku, he was having human feast. It was gruesomely awesome. Why? Because the human were the first one who had killed demon at random just to find Shinsuu. Since Byakuroku had tasted human flesh, he becomes obsessed with the taste and Bonten blame himself for ever introducing Ginshuu and and the snake. That was how Bonten and Ginshuu took different path, against each other, and how Ginshuu ended up with the snake curse. In my opinion, Byakuroku was correct: demons are born from the hearts of human so if they should eliminate demon, shouldn't they started with human?

I think I am definitely turning into a mangatard and less of an animetard. I've picked up two more manga today -__-

The first one is a seinen/supernatural manga titled: Tokyo Bardo. It's about this woman and her brother who go around Tokyo sealing demons, and are guardians to some sacred demon signs. It is definitely action pack and the art is pretty sharp as well.

The other one is a josei/fantasy manga titled Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist. It reminds me a lot of Pandora Heart in term of the era. Williams is a noble and is the star student of his club. One day when he went back home, he learned that the family is bankrupt. Somehow he opened the link to the other world and met with Dantalion and ended up signing contract with him

Yandere Kanojo chapter 4: another chapter that is full with hilarity ^o^

Thursday, December 17

Demented fly appeared in this week's chapter of Bleach.

Naruto chapter 476: I'm so glad that Naruto is as fucked up with the plot, just like Bleach. Sharingans in Danzo's arm? Seriously? *facepalm* I don't even want to touch on his fight against Sasgay because I really don't give a damn. Naruto on the other hand had a nervous breakdown. Great timing Naruto ^__^

After several day, I finally had time to spend to watch Kara no Kyoukai: Satsujin Kousatsu (Part 2). It is, hands down, the best fucking movie I had ever watched in my 10 years of being an animetard. Review will be up soon!

Friday, December 18

It's the new year for us Muslim. Happy New Year ^^

Switch chapter 25 is up! Shingo had knocked Isobe unconscious after he found out what Isobe had done. Mean while Kai I think is falling into a trap. Akabane, as far as my guts told me, is bringing Kai to Sawaki and Hal was right: Kai is the key to Switch. It doesn't help that Sawaki wants Hal too =\ Back at the department Ibu managed to decode the code. It's Switch Survivor List.
And holy fuck I was spot on with Hal's theory! Dammit Kai!

The first page of Ultimo chapter 11 made me chuckled. Lune proposed to Yamoto LOL. Little that I know though that I'll be very sad at the end of the chapter because Lune appeared to be dead. Although I am happy to see Vice again, but what he did to Lune is just sad. I like Lune... :(

So last week of Fairy Tail was really a filler. WTF... But whatever. This week is about the promised fight between Erza and Natsu which has not even begun before Erza was captured by the Councilfor the destruction they had caused when they fought Lullaby. By the way, I am really annoyed with the magic circle and the sequence for Erza's requip. It was fucking ridiculous.

Siegrain: Because every shounen needs it's Aizen X)

Diary of a tard - week 3, November '09

Sunday, November 15

Thank goodness that they continue with the graviton case in episode 7 of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. Like I suspected the guy that was bullied in last chapter is the culprit. They can't be anymore obvious... I can't blame him for being that psychotic though. I probably would too. This kinda highlight how useless Judgement is. Hehe anyway, I love it whenever Touma is around Biribiri. Their relationship reminds me of IchiRuki moments earlier in the series.

epic

Trapeze episode 2. OMG this show is made of win! I could not stop laughing from start to finish. This dude, you see, has a morning wood and while changing his pants, he knocked a bookshelf and one of the book fell on his analog stick. Because of this he has a case of permanent erection. I am not sure whether I should feel sorry for the real dude that allowed his face to be used in the animation, or pats him in the back ^^"

In episode 3, a famous author suffered from OCD. He got sick to his stomach at any uncertainties. I don't think he was cured though. Or maybe he did after Megumi approached him about Tomorrow. This episode didn't have the lol factor >_>

This is stupid. I didn't bother to check whether mangafox has Kure-nai so I didn't know they are up to chapter 24 already where onemanga still stuck at chapter 7. Jeebus lame! I spent the entire afternoon catching up with the chapters. I found out that the anime started from chapter 7 and ended at chapter 17. I still didn't like the loli shit that was going on though. Anyway now I got to read something that I don't know and it just getting better and better (if you ignored the harem). Yosh!! One thing I like the most about Kure-nai is, most of the female characters can kick some real ass. Just takes Guillotine for example...

She's a freaking hitman, man! She decapitated her victims @_@

Not to mention that there are Yuuna and Ginko too! The only one I can't stand is Murasaki but she's a child so she doesn't count.

I've caught up with Inuyasha. Sigh... Like everyone already said, they are freaking rushing things. I am kinda disappointed. Let see if I can recap the four episodes right:
  • Inuyasha managed to infused Dakki with Tessaiga
  • Byakuya made a cameo
  • Mouryomaru fucking eats everything. I mean EVERY FUCKING THINGS!!
  • Inuyasha's training only took half a day -__-
  • Mouryomaru is dead
  • Naraku wants Kikyou dead T__T
Monday, November 16

I have purposely avoid reading Ares because I hate the fact that Ares wants to kill Michael, and chapter 113 confirmed it. I know it is going to take a while until the face off but since it's inevitable, I'm dreading it even more. In chapter 115, Baruna came to Ares' rescue you mothafucka!! Weep and die!! w00t!!! And fucking hell, sometimes Ares can be as cold blooded as Michael so what makes him a good guy?! Grrr... he killed Nikolai. We have a new soon-to-be hero in chapter 118. His name is Genesis. I bet he still can't beat either Michael, Baruna or Ares.

After a year apart, BSS fansub finally released the second special episode of Moyashimon - Microbe Theater Deluxe. Remember! Excessive cleaning of your body can make you smell bad! XO

Tuesday, November 17

I decided to pick up Ookiku Furikabutte again after I put it on hold for couple of months because of the sudden booze of it's fanarts. I have always like this series and can't get enough of the anime. I hope they will make a new season when the manga got a little bit further. Btw, I just remembered why I dropped the manga: one chapter is like 100+ pages. Chapter 17 is a good chapter nonetheless. The team found out who they are up against next.

Tajima-kun (fanart by KL_chan)

Shibata made an enemy with Shinjo on his first day working as the detective in chapter 5 of Shibatora. Then he met another delinquent who played pranks on him (sound familiar?). But in chapter 6, we got to see the glimpse of Shibata's past. Looks like there was a very gruesome reason why he wanted to be a detective in the youth division.

Wow, looks like I am really in a mood of catching up to my manga. Next one is Chrome Shelled Regios: Missing Mail. I can't remember the reason why I put it on hold... oh yeah I do. Life raped me in the butt >_>.

Wednesday, November 18

Am I the only one who watch Cheburashka Arere? But anyway, episode 4 is about hiccups, episode 5 is about counting stars and episode 6 is about Cheburashka being a forgetful little shit. I also found out that Gena is a lolicon.

Bleach episode is made of win this week. The real showdown will be next week though.

Spend the night watching xxxHolic Shunmuki. I am pretty much confused by the crossover >_>

Thursday, November 19

I got to give credit to Fairy Tail anime for attempting to be as true as possible with the manga. Episode 6 is the part where they were trapped by the Eisenwald inside a train station. Erza, Gray and Natsu were awesome, especially Erza with her requip ability. Lucy on the other hand was useless as usual. I hate her Cancer.

*facepalm*

Naruto is out early this week. Too bad we wouldn't have Bleach too :(
But anyway, when Kisame fused with sword, the surroundings were covered in water so the first thing Bee tried to do was saving his friends from drowning. It was fun to see Bee and his inner beast communicating and be on the same wavelength but of course with a chakra sucking ability Bee wouldn't last long. However Kisame didn't think that Samehada will turned against him. LOL this is funny shit.

Michael attacked Chronos' during the rain in chapter 119 of Ares. He made Icarus second guessing his attacks. Even though the Chronos looks like they have their defense solid, I just knew that Michael has something up his sleeves. Otherwise he won't be so foolish to attack in the rain. I mean Esteban can cut through the damn armor suit! And he is only from the first platoon, supposedly the weakest platoon in Michael's army. When Michael saw that his troops aren't getting anywhere with Chronos' defense, he made them retreat. Of course Chronos thought that they have won the battle. What they didn't know is, Gracio troops are on their way. Damn, Michael is really giving me the chills man. He's such a pure genius.

Lag was finally able to cross the bridge and entered Yuusari in episode 7 of Letter Bee. As her arrived at the Bee Hive, Lag was immediately sent for the examination. Needless to say that Lag passed with flying colors. I am glad that Zazie was around to help Lag out. He revealed that Gauche is no longer a Bee (WTF?!! I KNEW IT! I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPENED! *cries* T__T)
Anyway, remember when I said there is only one hottie in the OVA? I got her name in this episode. It was Aria Link and she's someone close to Gauche. Also, remember how I always complained about the Gaichuu looking like shit? Well, in this episode they look decent enough. Niche can be cute sometimes I guess. I lol'd when she decided to put her pants on again. And apparently Signal has so many twins, I lost count.

First Steak, now this? Coolest horse ever!

*sighs* I just loves bishies...

Friday, November 20

Heh B.A.B.E.L. is totally clueless of Hyoubu's intention/plan in Zettai Karen Children chapter 196. I want to believe Hyoubu when he said that the P.A.N.D.R.A. children are at that school for the same reason as the Children. I mean, they are good kids after all and Hyoubu isn't really bad... Of course B.A.B.E.L. have to make them promised not to use their power at school which they refused but guess what, Kaoru take the oath for them. This is very telling as to why Hyoubu calls her the Queen, eh? XD On the other hand, Phantom is burn with jealousy.

OMFreakingG Icarus decided to counter attack Michael which exactly what Michael had anticipated. OMG OMG OMG!! This is freaking awesome! This is why I fucking love Ares! This is farking why I love Michael! Pure carnage baby!!

Chapter 38 of Kuroshitsuji is good since it introduced some new fucking awesome characters: Charles Grey and Charles Phipps. The Queen ordered Ciel to entertain her Germany guest and at the end of the chapter, it showed us that Sebastian is fatally injured.

Holy fucking shit! O_0

I hate it when a series duped us of when they killed one of the characters because I will start crying like my best friend just died just to find out in the end that they survived. I'm in the mood of completing Tears to Tiara. Taleishin died in episode 21 which blows and I cried for half an hour only to see him again on episode 25, live and kicking, riding a fucking dragon. Anyway, we finally got to see Pwyll in episode 22 and the history of Arawn when Arthur went to pick up the Dyrnwyn sword. I really have to give it to them though. The last 4 episodes kept me on the edge, making me bite my nails nervously. By no mean it was an easy win *thumbs up*. Riannon still pissed me off sometimes though >_>

I want a nendo Arthur NIAO!!

Shut Hell chapter 16: Yurul is in the brink of death and Shut Hell went after Alfad for the medicine. Alfad refused so he's dead. Yay!! That was not the best part of it though. The best part was when Shut Hell met Tiger for the first time. w00t!! These two are my OTP!

Remember all those dogs that Giovanni brought with him? heh, apparently they were live bombs. They went kaboom!! on Giovanni's command in chapter 46 of Dogs: Bullet and Carnage. How cool was that, right? RIGHT?!! I love villains >=3

For more entries, click here.

p/s: wow... I really made some progress this week ^o^

Diary of a tard - week 2, November '09

Sunday, November 8

The title for Cheburashka Arere episode 3 is Mischievous Shapoklyak. Don't ask me what Shapoklyak is. I don't have an effing clue -__-

Harabal learns of Bektel's death and searches for the Evil One in Shut Hell chapter 15, with knowledge that his brother Yurul is now an accomplished. Alfad who noticed that Shut Hell begin to hesitate because of Yurul's word takes matter into his own hands and slices Yuru's palm with his poison knife, that guaranteed death, as he fondly said so in several chapters ago...

Bamboo Blade Special+Omake saw the flashback of Saya and Kirino and how Kirino convinced Saya to joined the kendo club (well not really :P). The omakes were pretty hilarious XD

When just I thought Kuroko can't be more annoying! I can't stand her voice and her attitude at all, and I wasn't referring to her gayness shit. To Aru Kagaku no Railgun seriously needs start a good plot. I love biribiri but this is fucked. She's a fucking railgun ffs! At least brings Touma back?!

Don't you have normal eyes? XO

OMG I just realized how incredibly gay the OP of Fairy Tail is. After 2 weeks of neglect, it comes to light that the comedy in Fairy Tail the anime is freaking gay too. It was too over the top. They were trying too hard. How sad. I'm tempted to stick to the manga and ignores the anime now. Unlike Bleach, this is a series that is not close to my heart at all. Not to mention that hearing Haruhi's voice on Lucy. It just too weird. And what the heck is with the lame introduction of Erza at the end of episode 4?! Jeebus.

This is how the epic Erza should be introduced you fag! She's carrying a fucking horn not giant carrot! XO

Tuesday, November 10

We saw flashback as to how Lune got to be Envy's master in chapter 10 of Ultimo. It creeps me out when I saw Lune has a picture of Yamato hanging in his room. I mean I want him to be gay but this is starting to ruin my fantasy. But the flashback explains a lot. Like why Lune looks so feminine. He was a princess in his past life. On the night she was set to marry the useless emperor whom she hated, Yamato appeared and the princess saw her as her knight in shining armor and somehow they two were united. Of course she can't help but feel envious towards the present chick (I don't care what her name was) who Yamato's claimed to be in love with. Not to mention that Ultimo is gay for Yamato too. You know what... I really like where this story is going. Scratched that part where I was creep out ^__^. At the end of the chapter, Dunstan appeared with another Douji in tow, which he called Miryuu. And so the plot thickens.

In latest chapters (16 and 17) of Switch, Hal was again on a stake out. They are after a drug user and the suspect was involved with Komatsu who immediately recognized that Hal is a cop. He even knows that Kai is working undercover as the kindergarten teacher. I love that elusive bad guy. He's so cool in a way. I mean we are talking about Hal here. No one gave him the slip! I still haven't seen that shounen-ai theme in this manga though. Goddammit!

I really don't like Lucy, even if she's voiced by Aya Hirano. She was totally useless 91% of the time. She existed solely for comic relief. My opinion might change as I read/watch the chapter/episode further but I doubt it. In episode 5 of Fairy Tail this week, we were introduced to the awesome that is Erza. They are set out to fight the Dark Guild Eisenwald because they have the "lullaby" flute that can caused mass murder.

I is on episode 23 of Blood+. Saya just met Diva @_@

Bleach episode 245 ain't bad. Ain't good either. The old fuck Yamaji is back apparently :(

Thursday, November 12

While I was browsing deviantart, I came upon a fanart made for Shibatora manga. I was intrigued so I checked it out. It was surprisingly nice! It has drama, action, mystery, as what you would have expected from a police manga. Shibata Taketora is a policeman who looks like a middle schooler which explains why he was only in trouble and being picked on a lot. He strive to be a detective and work for the Department of Youth Safety. One day he met a school girl named Mizuki and all hell break loose because she is such a prankster. The truth is, she has one fucked up father who just murdered a drug dealer and now he was asking her to go to the police station and take the blame for him. Man, she has some serious father-complex issue... Anyway, because of this case, he was promoted.

Kilik and the gang is facing the Black Clown in chapter 67 of Soul Eater. The Black Clown used some illusion shit to make it appear like their body parts are melting. Of course Medusa is the mastermind in all this. The kilik he did the soul resonance, it was freaking awesome!

*fangasm*

After they defeated Black Clown, we moved on to Black.Star and Tsubaki. They were sent to find Medusa and Chrona and whaddaya know... Chrona came to greet them. OMG when did Black.Star matured so much? *squirts*

They explained the golden sword in niche in episode 4 of Letter Bee. Even though Lag has delivered her, he took her back and made her his dingo, along with Steak. Pretty lame episode because it was predictable. Thank goodness episode 5 is okay because we have Largo Lloyd around! But I really want to snap Nelli's neck in two...

Friday, November 13

The chapter of Bleach was lame but the fact that there is a possibilities of Byakuya and Kenpachi fighting... it kind of worth it.

It just goes to show that I'm not a narutard when I can't remember what the heck happened last week. So obviously when I read this week chapter of Naruto, I was lost. I remember certain things like the fight between Kisame (did I even get his name right?!) and Bee but the part with that voodoo doll totally escaped me. Anyway, at the end of the chapter Kisame fused with his sword Samehada and that totally grossed me out!

In chapter 4 of Shibatora, he was promoted to the Department of Youth Safety after his heroic deeds saving Mizuki from killing herself. What I don't like however is Mizuki living with him >=(

Zettai Karen Children chapter 195: heh Hyoubu is purposely made Fujiko mad. Hyoubu is working for Robiet which granted him and the P.A.N.D.R.A immunity. Meanwhile, the Children were surprised to find Hyoubu's minions as transfered students in their school. Instead of the Children getting worked up, it was the Phantom who was pissed.

Saturday, November 14

I have this bad habit of not finishing a series with only 1-2 episodes left which explains why my progress & future list keeps building up. So I decided to ignore my work and finish some of the series today.

Lets start with Dogs: Bullet and Carnage OVA. I have only one episode left: episode 4. The first thing I noticed was the fucked up features of Heine. He doesn't look bad ass at all! But whatever. Badao was awesome ^o^ So this episode pretty much showed how Nill was adopted to the family. The best part is when Giovanni appeared. Now... that dude is a freaking bad ass! The OVA is pretty damn close to the manga though so *thumbs up* for that.

Next up is Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. I have 2 episodes left. Noted that I freaking love the OP and ED songs. OK bBack to the episodes... it tugged my heart when Yuuki asked Mirai what would she do if he was dead. Here's why: I caught a glimpse in some of the reviews I've accidentally read that Yuuki was dead so that simple sentence made me cried T__T Every time I didn't see Yuuki on the screen, I was covered in cold sweat, dreading the inevitable. Seriously, this is why I hate spoilers. So episode 8 was real. I wasn't fooled. It was Mirai who lived in denial.

THE HELL I CRIED FOR THE NEXT HOUR WHENEVER I THOUGHT ABOUT YUUKI *wails*

Funny that anime /manga might be the only things that I get emotional for >_>

To console myself, there is no other anime that can do it if it is not Gintama! I'm so glad that I did not catch up to the anime like my Gintamard friends urged me to ^__^. Episode 123 is the continuation of Monster Hunters parody - Monkey Hunters which mean Gin's analog stick is still the hex socket screwdriver XD and they have found out that the two aliens were Hijikata and Okita. The also realized that they have to live their lives as 'drivers and learned to accept their fate except for one woman:

Gintama has the best scriptwriters ever!

When I saw this, I knew exactly what comes next! XD

OMG classic Gintama! ^o^

Catching up to the latest episode (6) of Letter Bee. Anyway, I could already tell that Jiggy Pepper would be someone that is made of win, even if just to spite Nelli. He might not be as epic as Gauche but win nonetheless. and OMG not only that I was right, he is a fucking bishie too! w00t!! By the way, why most of the characters in this series are such cry babies?

Diary of a tard - week 5, October '09

Sunday, October 25

I feel sad for Telieshin after he revealed his destiny in Tears to Tiara episode 19 and I'm confused of Epona's gender. Is she a she or a he? Telieshin referred to her as the prince. What the hell?

hehehe I totally went on giggling mode when I saw Touma in To Aru Kagaku no Railgun episode 4. I surprised myself. Was I indeed that much of a fangirl? Anyway this week episode is about Urban Legend. Interestingly Touma was considered as one. OMG I laughed so hard when Karoko banged her head on the table. hahahahaha and OMG it was painfully obvious that BiriBiri likes Touma. Canon pairing FTW (chose to erase Index existence from this point onwards).

Completed Sensitive Pornograph, the manga. The manga has 6 chapters, each with different story/couple. The anime adapt the 1st and 3rd chapter. It was so deliciously yummy @_@

Monday, October 26

Shit. I am really in dire need of inspiration. I need to update my fanfic!!

On the other hand, I is catching up with Switch. Holy shit Shirai-san was murdered in front of Hal and Kai? Jeebus! Those bastard better get ready. When Kai is pissed, HE IS PISSED! And what the hell, that bad dude from Ryuugen was wearing a mask? Dude, that was fucking creepy! That was the end of chapter 6 by the way. In chapter 7, it was revealed that Kuzui-kun kinda infatuated with Kai. Since they were shorthanded, the chief suggested that Mari played undercover with pretense that she was having a date with Kai. Needless to say the operation was successful without any casualties. In chapter 8 Kai and Hal were sent for undercover assignment at a highschool. Kai as student and Hal as substitute teacher. OMG OMG OMG... Hal is so freaking hot when he seducing the male (yes male!) student for information.

hawt *nosebleed*

Iku, the kid that Hal was seducing, turned out to be the school toy boy. On top of that he was traumatized as a kid. No wonder he wanted to commit suicide. Clearly he's tied with this investigation and like Hal (and I) had deduced, he knew who Kyo is and OMG Iku turned out to be a total psycho!
Gah I love this manga.
By the way, the director, Hiki Masataka is a man to be feared...

Wednesday, October 28

OMG, I read too much yaoi manga yesterday now my brain is fried. Not to mention all the weird things that happened to me yesterday... O_o

Anyway, Bleach episode 243 this week is not disappointing. We got new OP and ED too! w00t!!

and I need to start watching Pandora Hearts goddammit! I really like what I saw in the DVD special! *goes to danbooru*

Andou Soako has done it again in episode 4 of Hatsukoi Limited - Gentei Shoujo. That klutz of a girl, she just have to mention the crooked tablet. If you ask me, she is just ask to be raped -__-

eh? seriously Soako? *facepalm*

Got to watch another OAD today: Kyou no Go no Ni OVA 2: Treasure Chest. It was fun XD

Vampire Knight chapter 55: 1) Zero should just let the vampire eat Wakaba. 2) Yuuki is a fucking wench. 3) Zero is my hero and I love him more for refusing to meet with the said wench 4) Kuran is a dick. 5) Zero can pound Kuran ass till the morrow. 6) And he will. 7) And Kuran will like it.

Hirato tricked the team and sent them to Rinoll in Karneval chapter 16. Anyway, back at the HQ, Hirato said that Nai might be killed for research purposes. Akari of course disagree with the notion but since Hirato is the boss... *gasps*
okay I need to remember these names: Tsukitachi (the rude), Hirato (superficially polite) and Akari (dissect master).

We have Bamboo Blade Special + Omake chapter this week. It tell us how Azuma and Tama-cha trying their best to study for better grades which ended up with the entire kendo club studying together.

Friday, October 30

Except for the fact that Ichigo is going back to the real world, I actually like this week Bleach chapter 380 a lot.

As for Naruto chapter 469, I need to remember who Kazikage (Gaara), Mizukage (that chick), Tshucikage (the old fart) and Raikage (the muscle man) is. And... about Sakura's confession...

will someone fucking bitch slap her already?!!

Diary of a tard - week 2, October '09

Sunday, October 4

Spends the whole day watching Bleach: Fade to Black for the fourth time. It also take the whole damn day to write the review. It was worth it though ^_^

Oh, the Autumn anime are finally here! Yosh, now for short first impression of said anime...

I take a look at Kampfer. The show was about a boy who becomes a Kampfer, whatever that shit is. Since only female can be a Kampfer, he got sex-changed by wearing a blue bracelet. 5 minutes in, I was completely bored. Gonna put this on my future list.

I looked forward to To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, because, despite of my dislike for Index, I enjoyed To Aru Majutsu no Index. One of the reason I want to see this series is because of Misaka Mikoto. I kinda gay for her, albeit just a little bit. Nothing substantial happened in the first episode besides the introduction of new characters: Uiharu Kazari and Saten Ruiko (both are decent). The appearance of Misaka kind of makes this episode okay in my book though. Definitely going on my progress list.

Misaka can literally toast your ass!

and get you free drinks!

I was indifferent with Seiken no Blacksmith after I saw the promotional posters. Take a peek at the first episode. It wasn't as bad as snark said it is but it wasn't a masterpiece either. If I to rate the episode based on first impression, I'll give it a 5 out of 10. With that said, this one is going into my future list.

Let's move on to Takakau Shisho - The Book of Bantorra. Okay... *takes a deep breath* I don't know what the fuck is going on 90% of the time. The animation and fighting sequence were decent until they showed the ships. It was made of shit. And then they dropped humans into the ocean who were brainwashed and became a bomb. They speak of True Men, Meats, Hamyuts Meseta, Shindeki Church, Armed Librarian and books going to heaven. WTF?! I think my brain just short-circuited =\. Oh wait, the Armed Librarian is the good guy in all this mess. They managed and protect the book (in this alternate universe, when you died, you become a book, go figure). And that's the 10% of what I understand from watching the first episode. I'm going to give this one another try and see how that goes.

After watching the OVA, I have a certain expectation for Letter Bee. I was ecstatic when Gauche is the first to make an appearance *fangasm*. He found Lag and so their adventure begins. Kinda disappointed though that the Gaichuu is still fucked up and I can tell the story line is going to be predictable for the first few episodes. But meh, I am still going to watch this. In the progress list it goes!

Monday, October 5

Goal of the day is to catch up on the weekly manga. At the same time, trying to come up with a release for my Arranklux and update my fanfics.

Let's start with Dogs - Bullets & Carnage chapter 44. The fight between Haine and Giovanni continues. The epic fight does not disappoint me. It fit the carnage in the title. Awesome. Back at Granny's house they were busy with the dogs too. It wasn't as awesome but carnage all the same. But I want to see Badou :(

Want to say that I'm happy with Claymore chapter 96, but I really am not. Why is Raki alone? Where is Priscilla? When is Raki going to meet Clare, if ever?! Jeebus! Another claymore is taken over by the damn monstrous awakened being. Cynthia and Uma-san is doomed. At other place, Clare, Deneve and Helen just about finished defeated the numerous awakened beings but more are to come. Why can't I see any glimmer of hope for the warriors? =\

Damn, it wasn't until I watch Inuyasha Final Act episode 1 that I realize I have forgotten what the fuck was going on with Inuyasha. I feel like a bucket of phailed. But don't fret, Glo the Legend to the rescue! Thanks to his rabidness I learned what I was supposed to know. Anyway, just to make things clear, Kagome still annoys me to no end for reason I have long forgotten.

Holy shit Switch! Hal got stabbed during his undercover work as he was investigating the "DS" drugs. The Ryuugen has started to show their fangs. Mean while Kai is working undercover as Shirai-san personal assistant, who takes the "DS" pills. Hal got stuck in the hospital and the Ryuugen told Shirai-san of Kai's true identity. Shirai was too weak to attacked Kai though and he revealed that he is dying from the final stage of cancer. Through some coincidences, Shirai learned that he was used by Sawaki and seek revenge (i.e. suicide). Obviously Kai wouldn't allow that to happen if he can helps it. /end chapter 5.

Tuesday, October 6

Drifters chapter 6: Lord Aram is being a dick and is attacking the elves by using lame excuse such as them saving a drifter. He just wants them dead. The three drifters (I really need to start paying attention to their names) burn down the wheat field just to lure Aram out. Heh carnage ensued. The drifters is taking over the country!!

Wednesday, October 7

I'm happy to report that Saburo is back in Keroro Gunsou episode 61. I was wondering when he will show up, if ever. I just like his cool attitude and Natsumi is such a tsundere.

Friday, October 9

This week's Bleach chapter 377 makes me so pissed. I want to strangle Kubo's neck.

Amatsuki chapter 43 saw Toki getting bits of Ginshu's memories and Kon starts to believe what Toki said is true after he met Tsuyukusa. The Onmyouji is gathering to discuss Toki's fate. Of course they want to use him as a trump card against TeiTen.

*fangasm*

Naruto chapter 467 is not bad at all because we are only focusing on Sasgay like 60% of the chapter instead of the usual 99.9999%. I know Madara is like Aizen, but what the fuck is TIME SPACE CONTINUUM. What kind of retarded power can manipulate that? Jeebus. Why is everything so fucking gay in Naruto?! Anyway Madara reveals his plan: to get the tablet left by Rikudo Sage so can get the power of the ten tail beast, and use his special jutsu to control everyone with his ultimate illusion. Sounds like a bucket of phailed to me -__-

Saturday, October 10

Bleach episode 240 is awesome possum. All thanks to Byakuya :3

Kouro wins his first fight against one of the members in the Tanelia group in FLAGS chapter 5. Next up is Toral Cyano, the loud toad-like member of Tanelia versus Kikuro siblings. Anyway, the outcome for these first few battles are pretty predictable ain't it? Just as I thought the fight was over, Pilaria got bigger. Plotkai!! But instead of fighting Kagura, she's against Usagi.

Karneval is freaking back after 3 weeks of absence with chapter 14. People are dropping down to the scene like flies and start accusing Yogi for being useless, careless and wot not, if only in jester. Hirato is pretty formidable with his dolls/daughters that comes from his hat. That kinda gimme the creep. Yogi then further explained to Gareki that Division 1 and 2 of the Circus is to kill post-humana and annihilate the Kafka. Tsubame who has been listening decided to join the Circus as well to be of some use to them and to Gareki.

Diary of a tard - week 1, October '09

Sunday, September 27

I enjoyed watching Letter Bee: Light and Blue Night Fantasy. Can't wait for the full season to take off!

Amatsuki
chapter 42 is out. Man, this manga always managed to confused and yet at the same time keeps me glued to the story. From my understanding, the new Ginshuu kinda changed everyone's memory and let everyone thinks that 50 years has gone by since the last Ginshuu's disappearance. Kon is back! and he's willing to hear out what Tokidoki has to say. Tokidoki is no longer alone! yay!

look who's back!

Monday, September 28

It has been a while since I last catch up on Tears to Tiara. Gaius was defeated by Arthur (have seen this one coming since forever) in episode 18. I love the fighting scene between these two warriors. It was pretty good quality stuff. I can't wait for my Nendoroid Arawn to arrive in October :3

Watching the final episode of Eve no Jikan. The first 2 minutes of the episode get me hooked real bad. Masaki!! I expect nothing less from the finale of this amazing ONA. I missed the time when Misaki often joined Rikuo to the cafe. Long story short, I missed Misaki so I am a happy fan when the final is all about him. The episode told the struggle of those robots because the human starts to take action to curb their personality development. Or something like that ^^" and it delved deep into Misaki's past. I am not going to lie. I cried. Real tears flowing down my face. For a robot. For Misaki feelings. It was unexpected. It was a blessing.
Words can't really describe how freaking awesome this ONA is.

teh awesome Misaki :3

Thursday, October 1

Bleach episode 239 is a total fangasm. I so approved of this filler episode!

Not really stoked to read Soul Eater chapter 65 knowing that they'll focus on Maka. That is why I kinda ignored the chapter after 2 days it was released. Maka just bores me. The fight between her and this crazy fella is freaking lame. The only highlight of this chapter is when Gopher bag punching Kid while Kid smirks proudly. Thank goodness we are to move on to Medusa and Chrona (hopefully) in next chapter.

Zettai Karen Children is late with their chapter 189. Well better late than never I guess. This week it was LOL-facto all the way. Starting with the intro page till the end. The story continues from last week where the Children is harassing Minamoto for kissing Yuri so you can imagine what's going on. Damn the boys and the girls are horny ^o^

(except him) LMAO >D

Friday, October 2

How many of you are familiar with the OVA Switch? Well, onemanga released the chapter today. Since I'm a fan, I did not need to think twice about reading the manga. The start of the manga is different from the OVA. It was good nonetheless. Not only the characters are more of a bishie, they story didn't drag on for too long too. I predict review will coming soon in the not too far away future ^_^

Naruto chapter 466 really pissed me off big time. Why the fucking hell is everyone helping the fucktard Sasgay out?! FUCKING FREAKING JEEBUS!!!

Heh, Bleach chapter 376 has so much potential to be awesome but alas, Kubo decided to make us wait for the awesomeness.

As I couldn't wait to fangasm or to suffer from excessive nosebleed, I decided to hell with subbed and watch the raw version of Bleach: Fade to Black. The Bleach fangirl in me still couldn't stop squirting from the fandom high.
