Bleach: Episode 274

Okay I am pissed. Why? Read the note from dattebayo...



Yeah apparently crunchyroll has gained the rights for Bleach as well, just like they did with Naruto and Gintama. This is crap man... I've been with dattebayo since they took over from Lunar years ago. I surely gonna miss them. Thanks dattebayo for your commitment to Bleach all these years. Much appreciated.

If crunchyroll think they'll get me to watch Bleach on their site, they better think again. I rather download the horriblesubs torrent.

But yeah back to the episode. I like this episode because I have been wondering for sometimes what are the espada represents. I know I read it in the manga but I have forgotten the details. This is why I decided to write an episodic for Bleach. At least it will remind me of stuff that I want to remember.


I am going to pretend that there is something wrong with what Yammy represents. Rage is definitely not it. But that is for another discussion.

At the moment, Toushiro looks to have find an equal footing with Hallibel. At least they talked a lot and explained their attacks a whole lot more so that kinda make it seems believable.

To tell you the truth, I am actually impressed with Toushiro. He might be a shouta but he still uses his wits. I guess he was a prodigy for a reason. I dunno if his fight with Hallibel was this long in the manga. Is it?

I seriously can't believe how fucking lazy the production team are though. They used the same frame over and over again especially when they wanted to show the fallen fukutaichos. What the fuck man... we aren't dumb. We can fucking tell the shittiness of it all.

The EPIC fight of Ulquiorra only got 3 episodes. This fight better end in the next episode or I will RAGE.

Bleach: Chapter 507

The old fart's bankai work in reversed way it seems. All the flames were gone and stored inside his charred zanpaktou so whatever touches it gonna burn like a motherfucker on a stick. I mean, marshmallow.But that's not the only thing though. The zanpaktou seeps all the moisture from everything that is around it. Hmm, not bad for a bankai...

I wonder when the heck will Juhabaha steal the old fart's bankai. Ain't everyone else bankai have been stolen the moment they used them? Isn't that the purpose of this whole brouhaha, besides destroying soul society and shinigami?

Juhabaha tried to calculate the logic behind the old fart bankai. He shouldn't bother though because the old fart willingly explained everything to him. He even revealed the west side of the bankai. Someone is gonna shit charcoal.

But meh, I'm sure Juhabaha expected as much. I can't wait to see how is he gonna negate all these shit about the old fart being the sun.

Bleach: Chapter 506

Looks like it takes an average of two months for me to read one chapter of Bleach nowadays. Just what the fuck happened? =\

Anyway, resuming from the last chapter,  the old fart is pissed. Even more so when the bad guys (of which I have forgotten what they are called) did a sneak attack on him. They fell like flies before they could land any hit on him though.

Yuhabaha finally drew his zanpaktou. Not that it matters since the old fart didn't waste any time and went straight to bankai.

Bleach: Chapter 505

Last chapter was mediocre. Or maybe my hatred for the old fart prevented me from enjoying it. Either way it still sucked imo, especially since I learned that the upcoming chapters are about him as well >_>

Anyhoo, back to the chapter, the old fart is pissed. After he took care of the big buffoon who used Choujirou's bankai, he let loose and let his reiatsu resonating throughout Seireitei to boost the moral and spirit of the rest of the shinigami. It works though. They found their courage again to fight off the bad guys.

He went straight to the Yuhabaha fight with Kenpachi who btw is at the bad guy's mercy. If it wasn't for the old fart's interference, we might have seen the last of Kenpachi which kinda sucks. Kubo is belittling Kenpachi too much by not showing us his fight with Yuhabaha. I mean, surely Kenpachi put up one hell of a fight against that man, even though he lost at the end. Remember that he lost against Ichigo too, but jeebus that was one of the most remembered fight in Bleach.... wasn't it?

Now that the old fart is getting pretty serious about ending this shit, things are looking rather interesting. Let see how these two shitheads knew each other and why did Yuhabaha so pissed off with Soul Society.

So... this chapter is pretty much about the old fart reminiscing about his dead assistant. We get to see Choujirou's bankai which isn't much (o be honest, I can't really tell what it is...). It was being used by the bad guy against the old fart but the old fart quickly ended it with his own attack. Pfft weak chapter is weak.

Bleach: Chapter 503

So... someone just told me the spoiler of the upcoming chapters of Bleach. I feel like flipping the fucking desk right now. But it is all good. Though I can't unsee the shit, I managed to stop myself from reading further.

Anyway, gotta love how Kenpachi handle those shitty little Stern Ritter. They were annoying so he split one into half, slit the other one's throat and then brutally murdered the last one. Nothing much aye? LOL

His opponent this time around is none other than the one them trashes called The Majesty. But as usual Kubo won't show us the fight just yet. He decided it's time we got back to Ichigo who somehow has gotten the news that Byakuya, Renji and Rukia are all down.

And that's all the panels he has for Ichigo before Kubo decided "oh fuck that, lets switched fight again". So now he's taking us to Hisagi who is about to get his ass handed to him. Lucky for him though because The Old Fart Yamaji decided to interfere with the fight and save his ass. He was threatened to be killed by one of his subordinate bankai though. I wonder which one would it be...

And that's how the chapter ended.

*sigh* I don't feel like ranting today so lets just pretend I'm okay with this whole unstructured shit.

Bleach: Chapter 502

Another two months have gone by since my last chapter of Bleach. Jeebus, it's not that I have stopped loving the series. I still love it to death despite the shit that Kubo cooked up lately. It just that I need time to forgive the shit. 2 months seem like long enough so lets see what happened to Byakuya now, shall we?

Renji is coming to his rescue but I bet there's nothing much he can do about it. Rukia is running towards his brother too which sort of sweet. Oh well, I admit  that whenever Rukia is in a panel, my heart melts and I have an instant b0nar so yeah, I'm being a biased maddafakka here XD

But back to the chapter, Byakuya is declared dead by the enemy while both Rukia and Renji (as expected), are down with injuries.

As they boast about their success defeating the shinigami, one man kinda crap in their parade. He's no other than Kenpachi who has neither shikai nor bankai.

 

Things should get interesting now...

Oh and I don't believe we've seen the last of Byakuya just yet.

Bleach: Chapter 501

So it took another 2 months for me to pick this up again. This time due to work and me being a socialite person with a life. Let see if Kubo managed to grab my attention again with this chapter or will I wait another month to read another chapter of Bleach.

As expected, the person who killed Opie has wounded Urahara as well which mean s/he is a force to be reckoned with. This frustrated Ichigo even further as none of his attempts to break from that "cage" work.

I saw this panel and I imagined him fucking Rukia Orz

The shinigami at Soul Society, especially the taicho and fukutaicho, are also trying to figure out how to defeat the enemy that they know shit about. Byakuya still managed to be extremely cute (well, okay - funny) with Renji in one panel and I must admit that I missed that. Anyway, in order for them to learn, Byakuya has to continue fighting while Renji try to see their enemy's ability and weaknesses, if any.

What Byakuya just noticed is that there are something else in his enemy's attack which causes his arms to freeze. That dude called it fear. It was cliche as fuck but whatever. It sounds legit and to be honest, if I'm creating a new zanpaktou, it would be pretty handy ability to have. His arrows are like the Dementor. Heh.

Through this enemy's ability, we get to learn what fear means to Byakuya.

As expected, he has sister complex. LOL

Because the enemy successfully made Byakuya (almost) consumed in his own fear, he got an opening to obliterate Byakuya. Is this the end of for the 6th Division Captain? I will be damned if it is.

Bleach: Chapter 500

It has been more than 3 months since I last read Bleach. I have forgotten why I stopped reading it but mostly, and probably because I got sick at how ridiculous Tite Kubo was at that time. I hope shit gets better now though. Then again, I can never leave Bleach for too long. I love the series regardless.

In previous chapter, we all know that Ichigo is trapped in the cage but Soul Society was too excited with the news that he's coming, they didn't realize this until after they announced over Soul Society that he's coming and the fact that his bankai can't be stolen by the Quincy.

As they were trying to send rescue team to find Ichigo, Jindanbou came and attacked the 12th Division lab.

It was chaos as they were killing each other.

And it was torture for Ichigo since he can hear everyone but cannot respond to their cries for help.

But it seems like help is on its way as Opie got killed for real this time but it is still a mystery who did it and whether or not s/he on Soul Society side because it looks like Urahara is under attack too. I mean, if Urahara can't detect her/he, then surely he's good enough to rescue everyone, including Ichigo.

Bleach: Chapter 499

Soul Society is lucky as fuck since it looks like Ichigo is always available whenever they need him. As Ichigo runs (he fucking runs!) to Soul Society, he was briefed by Akon about the dire situation in Soul Society. They made a point to point out that neither Rukia or Renji was injured. However, they still have zero information about the Quincy.

Urahara stepped in and helped with the data collection from Ichigo's previous fight with Opie. But there's barely anything new worth mentioning.


As for Opie, he wasn't dead hence why he managed to cut out the exit for Ichigo. Pfft, what an annoying bastard. I dunno what he did but he is trapping Ichigo inside a cage.

Bleach: Chapter 498

Oh interesting... I never knew that Akon is a Vice Director of Mayuri's lab. Either way, as expected they have trouble finding Ichigo since the badge that they gave them, he left it in the material world. They quickly figured out that Ichigo is in Hueco Mundo though and he used Urahara's shop as the gateway. I hope they will send Rukia to fetch her. Oh please let it be so Kubo... please...

But of course Kubo won't do that because he sucks.

Instead, they let him connect to Urahara. I would be surprised if Urahara doesn't know about the war in Soul Society yet since he always seems like he is ahead of everyone else. As I suspected, I was right. What I didn't expect though is the fact that the shinigami were surprised that Ichigo is in Hueco Mundo fighting a battle with a Quincy even before they knew about them being there. Well, don't think too highly of Ichigo guys... The Quincy themselves sent a private invitation to Ichigo that he can't refuse.

They were even more surprised that Ichigo seems to have the upper hand against the Quincy. Well, that dude was a small fry for fuck's sake. Of course he is having trouble trying to seal Ichigo's bankai. Buckbeard has sent all the good ones are to Soul Society so stop putting Ichigo on a pedestal damn it. You guys are embarrassing yourselves.

Seriously, you guys are embarrassing Ichigo as well

But then again... he's fap worthy

Just as things are about to get interesting, Urahara interfered. The timing sure seems suspicious. He couldn't wait till Opie tell them why they want to seal bankai as he puts Ichigo on the phone to talk to Akon. But then again, Soul Society really do need Ichigo to be there ASAP.

Hmm...  I just don't know what to say anymore...

Bleach: Chapter 497

And so the captains had their bankai stolen as simple as taking a candy from a child. It was embarrassing indeed. Too bad that the old fuck wasn't one of the unlucky captains...

Toushiro, when realized what was happening quickly told Matsumoto to warn the other captains. I couldn't help but grinning ever so widely when Mayuri was pissed off since those "imbeciles" as he puts it, can't wait till he is finished with his analysis. Well Mayuri, because of that they suffered the consequences.

And with that,  Kubo brought us to Shunsui's fight with the old guy from Stern Ritter. The old guy almost blown Shunsui's face off if it wasn't for his fast reflex. He lost an eyesight though. At other places, things were getting out of hands as more shinigami got killed and those who wasn't, are panicking. It's mayhem.

Embarrassingly, even Renji is panicking.

And just like that, Akon finally decided that it's about time someone brings in Ichigo. Heh. He is always be the hero to everyone in Soul Society despite what they think of him. I'm actually quite interested to see how are they going to contact him. I don't think it would be that easy. I hope it wasn't.

And shit, where is Rukia?

Also, now that I think about it, it sort of wise for Kubo to let the Stern Ritters stole Byakuya's bankai. Of all the captains, his bankai is most probably the one that has been used the most. It's time to give it a break and see what he is capable of without his zanpaktou's special abilities.

Bleach: Chapter 496

When I saw the Syazel shinigami (because I forget what's his name is >_>) trying to stop one of the Stern Ritters from advancing, and acting like he's capable of stopping him, I wanna do a major facepalm. Seriously, don't these shinigami get what is happening around them at the moment? Are they really that clueless/stupid/in denial/all of the above?

But lets forget about that fight. We all know he's gonna die anyway. Lets get back to where Byakuya, Renji and that dude who I first thought was a lady. It sort of uncharacteristic for Byakuya to talk that much in any occasion in my opinion but I guess he is dealing with this shit his own way, and he always said what's important anyway, so I forgive him ♥

Captain level is different from the other lesser shinigami level I guess. For once, a taicho's blade managed to cut the Stern Ritter. I'm not sure whether it is because of Byakuya or the level of his opponent is not on par to his level, which I doubt. Whatever it is, I am sure the counter attack will be fierce as fuck. These shinigamis tend to underestimate their opponents. We have seen they making the same mistake over and over again. I hope Byakuya won't make that mistake this time around.

I mean, he is already prepared to get his bankai sealed by these Stern Ritters assholes. This actually makes my heart drops. It feels like, if they sealed his bankai, then that could also mean the end for Byakuya. Just that thought makes me sad as fuck. Like, I have tears in my eyes as I write this. And it is not just Byakuya. Looks like every other captains with a fukutaicho fighting besides them are having the same plan. It just damn breaks my heart T__T

Oh me, stop being so melodramatic.

And by doing that, they had walked right into the enemy's plan. FFFFFFFFFUUUUUCCCCKKKK

 

Mayuri miscalculated. It's not like they sealed away their bankai. It's more like their bankai was taken away. Being an RP player for this character, I can understand why even Byakuya is on panic mode. Bankai, or your zanpaktou, is something that is born from your inner soul. If it is taken away, you'll lost part of yourself.

FFFFFFUUUUUCCCCKKKKKK THIS IS NOT GOOD AT ALL.

Suddenly I feel very scared for these shinigami. I feel like hugging Byakuya and tell him everything is going to be alright, that Kubo won't dare to kill him off.

On the other side of things, this is definitely a set up for a much more interesting battle/fight/plot. I would be surprised if they survive this at all, seeing how unbalance the power scales are at the moment. Let see what brilliant idea Kubo has in store for us or if it is just another weak attempt for a twist.

Bleach: Chapter 495

The war has officially started at Soul Society and many shinigami has fallen. The weak stands no chance against the Stern Ritter - this included Kira Izuru, the vice captain of 3rd Division. His captain, Ichimaru Gin Rōjūrō Otoribashi or better known as Rose, received the news calmly, just as expected from a captain. He himself is in a fight of his own, against someone who looks like a Tousen when he transformed into a giant fugly demented fly. This fugly enemy has a name: Stern Ritter "U" Nana Najahkoop.

I am laughing my ass off at the moment. That name is just great Kubo. LMAO just how much effort did you put I wonder? XD

I feel sorry for Rose who have to fight such an enemy. It is sort of degrading for his artistic side. Well, sad news is, Rose kind of confirmed the death of Kira Izuru. Lets mourn for him for a few silence seconds, and with a fanart of him as my last tribute.

At the other parts of Soul Society, more shinigamis are being slaughtered by the Stern Ritter. Instead of numbering system like he did with the espada in the last few arcs, Kubo decided to go alphabetically this time around. We have already met "U", there are several others:

• "F" - As Nodt, a sadistic lady who kind of reminds me as the darker side of Unohana. It would be interesting to see if these two ladies will face each other. She sends spikes that either kill the victim instantly or put them on extreme pain. At the moment though she's fighting Abarai Renji. Oh fuck, is he going to die too? LOL and pardon me, apparently she is not a lady. XD
• "E" - Bambietta Basterbine who looks the same age as Rukia but totally has no compassion as she went on a killing spree. Thank goodness that Kimamura is around to stop her madness. 

Looks like the fight is pretty set by now as the show a slight preview of who the Captain and Vice Captain of Gotei 13 are up against. Hisagi is up against a big built guy, Shunshui versus an old man while Soi Fon is up against some dude wearing an European warrior helmet. The Stern Ritters are yet to be officially introduced.

As expected the lesser shinigami i.e. the Vice Captains are no match for the Stern Ritter. Kira was a fine example of that as Renji struggles to land a hit on his enemy. What makes matter worst is the fact that it's two against one as one more Stern Ritter appeared.

Not for long though as Byakuya comes to the rescue, as calm and stoic as ever. He immediately caught Nodt attention. I must admit that when Byakuya appeared, he makes me faps. So good.

ALLTHEFAPS

So this chapter pretty much shows us who is fighting who and sort of what to expect from each fight. I hope the shinigami will do what Byakuya just said, pulverizing all those Quincy bastards. Kira and Gin's death need to be avenged!

Bleach: Chapter 494

I don't care how shitty the series are at the moment but every time I saw the colored cover of Ichigo/Rukia looking so damn fine, I forget all the worries and disappointment. Dayyum Ichigo sure looks delectably bad ass in this cover. Oh and lets not forget the captains of the Gotei 13. When was the last time we had the spread of all the captains? Too long my friends... too long.

 

That good feelings continue for the first few pages as we saw the Vandenreich assaults Soul Society and since the shinigami wasn't expecting them to attack this soon, they are all pretty much in panic mood. Soul Society is surrounded by pillars blue flames, that of which significant to the Quincy. While they are all amuses at how spiritually dense the pillars, Rukia stepped up and take charge. She figured that at the bottom of each pillars must have a Quincy waiting. Heh, that's my girl.

It is just like Mayuri trying to collect all the data even at the most dire time. I guess he is just doing his job but I almost facepalm when they have to wait before they could bring down the pillar because the data weren't collected correctly. I don't know why it took them so long to figure out that they are being attacked by the same enemy that they dealt with few days back. Who else could it be other than the Quincies right?

Or maybe these shinigami weren't being told the truth by the higher up. After all it happened before when Soul Society held information from the shinigami for their own sake. Well, shit sure looks that way at the moment and I don't mind taking the easy way out for once.

I think this negligence has caused Kira his life. Yes, Kira was the first to be killed in this attack and I am pissed as fuck. Wabisuke is an awesome zanpaktou and will surely do some heavy damage. Fuck you Kubo. If you are in a hurry to kill off the good characters, fucking kill Inoue or Chad first. FUCK YOU.

NNNUUUUUUUUUUUU~~

Kubo introduced the third seat of several divisions. They are pretty much fitted to be in their respective divisions either because of their personality or simply  based on physical outlook. Okikiba Genshirou is the third seat officer of the 1st Division of whom the old fuck was specifically ordered to stay put at the division and just like the rest of the shinigami (whom we knew) from 1st Division, he is ancient. Tagakushi Rikuu is the third seat officer for 3rd Division and why am I not surprised to see that he's blond (I assumed that's his hair color is). Katakura Asuka looks so poised that you knew he belongs to the 6th Division. As for Yami's twin brother, Gori Taketsuna, he kinda looks out of place, surrounded by these good looking fellas.

And I don't even understand why Kubo introduced them when he just going to kill them a few pages after that. It was merciless and I know it was supposed to show how formidable the enemies are but damn it, I am still pissed. What the hell happened to my beloved shinigamis? They aren't this fucking weak, that's for sure. The Stern Ritter killed over 1000 shinigamis in 7 minutes.

HOLY FUCK SHIT IS GOING DOWN!

I don't believe that the shinigami have become complacent and thus weak because Ichigo always around to save their asses (except for the old fuck - he's senile). The differences in power between these two sides are just insane.

Well, FUCK YOU AGAIN KUBO. FUCK YOU. 

Yeah of course I know the shinigami will be triumphant at the end and that in war shit like this happened all the time. Shut up. I am just unhappy knowing that we might have seen the last of Kira Izuru. And don't you dare telling me that he's gonna meet Gin in heaven and continue with their BL.

Bleach: Chapter 493

We all know that Opie will one way of the other destroyed Allon otherwise he will serve no purpose in this arc other than that fugly dude with even fuglier transformation. So yeah, Opie pretty much butchered and turned Allon to nothingness without having to lift a fucking finger. He just spread that fugly wings of his and that's that. I am not sure what the fuck Kubo was thinking but this is like Aizen all over again. That godly power... *sighs*

I mean, it's like Kubo thought that Opie isn't fugly enough he gave him the power to absorb reishi (or in his words: enslaved them) which means Opie gets fuglier. I didn't know that was even possible.

DAFUQ?!

So that dude who attacked Ichigo at the beginning of this arc (may he rest in peace), might have the same idea when he pushed Ichigo to use his bankai. I guess he wanted to use Sklaverei to absorb Ichigo's bankai but shit wasn't really working for him. I wonder if it's because Ichigo's reishi was special or different...

I was surprised to see the three bitches scattered the minute they realized his ability.  Well, they should be afraid. They are all made of reiatsu after all. However, I am even more surprised that they actually helped Inoue and Chad by hiding them using one of the bitches (the snake one)'s optical illusion power. Their plan? Go to where Ichigo is.

Yeah that's right. Go to Ichigo will solve all the worlds' problems >_>

However Opie can't be fooled by such low standard tricks and charged in. Inoue and Chad nearly had their deserving ending but of course Ichigo won't let that happened. Y U NO LEAVE THEM BE, ICHIGO?

I am disappointed. Can you tell? T___T

Oh but wait, lets not forget that Buckbeard is invading Soul Society at the same time and looks like the insignificant shinigami, including Kajoumaru, are going to get fried!

Heh. Let see what they can do without Ichigo to help them out. I can't wait to see the captains and their fukutaicho in action again. Let it roll baby! I'm ready to fap!

Bleach: Chapter 492

I actually lol'd pretty hard at the start of the chapter. The shinigami terrified by Allon? LOL When did that happen? Jeebus... consistency now Kubo... consistency... don't lost it yet... It just feels as if Kubo trying to convince us how bad ass Allon is but I'm just not buying it. Not when I know they have lost in the hands of the shinigami in the last arc.

Speaking of shinigami, guess who Kubo decided to introduce this time around? It's the 6th seat officer of the 13th Division. Oh god, I can still feel the excitement whenever Kubo introduce us to a new shinigami. They can still makes my heart skips a bit. I guess that means I still have some hope left for this series...

Kajoumaru gives Yuki and that another annoying female shinigami a quick lesson as to what's the difference between Quincy and Shinigami. We already knew this but I guess it won't hurt for Kubo to remind us of the reasons, to make it believable why these two races hated each other. I still blame it on the shinigami though for (attempted to) annihilate the Quincy just because they operate differently. I say that they reaped what the sow and by all means, I blame it on the old fuck for failing to kill Buckbeard 200 moons ago.

Who gives a fuck about all that balancing shit stuff anyway?

Oh yes, we should since it threatens the balance of the world >_>

Back in Hueco Mundo, it seems like Allon has the upper hand though knowing Kubo I know it will be short-lived. Inoue and Chad, the two most useless characters were actually sympathizing with Opie. Such morons that they are.

Anyway, like I predicted, Opie was unbeatable. In the next chapter, those three bitches of Hallibel might be killed for real this time (can we say Amen to that?) and so Opie's real battle with Ichigo will begin. After all, Kubo is just delaying the fight just so Ichigo could see and learn of his opponent's ability. Otherwise it would seems like Kubo might overkill it with Ichigo's next plotkai. 

You can be damn sure that he'll have one >_>

Bleach: Chapter 491

After a week of absent, Bleach is back and pick up from where it left us 2 weeks ago. As usual, Kubo let the bad guy shows off his power first in attempt to amuse/wow us, the audience.

Urahara has already told Ichigo a thing or two about the power up that Opie is using now. It's something like the last card for the quincy to use. Once they use them, there's a possibility that they will lost their quincy power in return. But that was the old version of it. Opie further explained (as he kicks Ichigo's ass) that the power up he is using at the moment is totally different, a modern version with greater power and so on.

Ichigo being Ichigo, he still wants to underestimate Opie. His Getsuga Tenshou doesn't works on Opie instead Opie shows Ichigo what else that power up can do. He gathers more reiatsu from all around him (including Inoue's Santen-Kesshunn but before he even finished doing that, he was interrupted.

Guess who shows up?

Bleach: Chapter 490

With mangastream no longer allowed to do the scanlation for Bleach, the chapter updates are irregular. This time it is almost 4 days late. I shouldn't complain though but it kinda frustrating.

I still don't get it why the Vandenreich is calling Ichigo as "special war potential". They definitely up to something and have their own plans for Ichigo. He's not the only one though. There are four others who they have identified as "special war potential" and I believe that Ishida is one of those candidates.

Anyway, like Buckbeard said in the last chapter, they are going to invade Soul Society since Ichigo will be occupied with matters at Hueco Mundo. Like I said, brilliant strategy indeed. I am actually pretty excited to see Soul Society fighting the bad guy without any help from Ichigo. This should be interesting because I got the feeling that Soul Society will fucking crumble.

As they Vandenreich crossed the gate of the sun, Ichigo, as expected has already defeated Kirge Opie. Well almost. Since Nel was clinging to him (which makes me rage to no end), he has to be a bit defensive instead of going all out offensive. Knowing Kubo though, a battle without dialog will not be a Bleach's battle.

Opie sure used a lot of confusing Quincy terms. I have trouble keeping up. The latest was called "Quincy Letzt Stil" (means Complete  Holy Form) and after a blinding flashing light, Opie was transformed into a fuglier dude. Apparently shinigami/arrancars aren't the only one who can achieved bankai/resurrection and if their meeting with the old fuck (and the death of the first div vice captain) was any indicator, well... Soul Society is fucked.

Pffft I can't take him seriously now.

Bleach: Chapter 489

Reading this chapter opens a flood gate of memories of the time when I used to RP for The Official Gotei 13 group. Having Captains meeting and then Vice Captains discussing of recent matters... it made me missed those guys that spend my sleepless nights with, role playing as a shinigami (specifically the 6th Division Captain) of the Soul Society. Dare I say that it is definitely one of my most enjoyable and memorable moments for my mid 20's. I wished I am a hikki again so just that I can relive that moment.

Anyway, the chapter starts with a scene that we aren't actually familiar with - the Vice Captains having a meeting of their own as they wait the Captains meeting to be over with. Everyone especially Rukia (♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ RRRRRRUUUUUUUKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥) are anxious to find out the outcome of the Captains meeting. Kira on the other hand is more calm as he asked everyone of what they think with the missing people at District 64. He thinks it has nothing to do with the invasion.

When did Kira gets so fucking hot? O_o

In the previous chapter, during Yumichika and Ikkaku's investigation, they found that the people gathered at one place before they vanished, based on the footprints that they found. Some of the footprints are that of sandals which mean shinigami was involved because the people living there are too poor to even afford a sandal. Kira boldly said that he suspected that the 12th Division is somewhat involved. Heh, this totally reminds me of Daniel. He would love this plot twist.

Kira asked Nemu directly about this but of course being so loyal to Mayuri, Nemu told him that she knew nothing and believe that her Captain/Father didn't do anything wrong. Well, I hope Kira is right because I always suspect Mayuri to have a mind of his own when it comes to Soul Society. After all, he kinda have a hate-love relationship with it.

Unfortunately though we have to wait for any progress because Kubo decided to bring us back to Ichigo and his group of clowns. He was surprised that Kirge Opie knew his name. Well, that should ring some warning bells inside of his head, that he is walking right into the lion's den but Ichigo being Ichigo... he never really care. After all, every other enemies ended up ALWAYS looking for him.

While fighting these bad eggs, Ichigo finally realized the kind of enemy he is facing with: quincies. They don't used sonido and shunpo but hirenkyakyu. I guess it's a quincy trademark just like sonido is to arrancar and shunpo is to shinigami. I would love to learn the difference though. Anyone?

The news that Ichigo is already in Hueco Mundo reached Buckbeard in no time at all. Obviously this pleases him to no end. Now that his biggest worry is busy in Hueco Mundo, he decided that this is the perfect time to attack Soul Society. I gotta say that I like how his mind works. That's very good strategy indeed.

why does Buckbeard suddenly looks like Zangetsu?

I would lol'd so hard if the Vandenreich attacked Soul Society while the Captains are still having a meeting. That would totally be like us when we RPed. The Hueco Mundo arrancars loved to invade us when we were having meetings. We never get to end our meeting properly LOL.

And in the meeting they are still... and Mayuri confirmed Kira's suspicion. He reported to the old fuck that he killed 28000 people to keep the balance of soul without his permission. As usual, the old fuck tries to blame everyone else but himself but Mayuri argued that things won't be this bad if the old fuck heeded his warning when Ishida first came to Soul Society.

HAH IN YOUR FUCKING FACE!

I just love how Mayuri handles thing. There is a big goofy smile plastered on my face right now. Apparently the old fuck, Mayuri and perhaps all the Captains knew who the fuck Buckbeard is because the old fuck failed to kill him during that Quincy war 1000 years ago. Hmm, no wonder he came back to destroy Soul Society.
