WTFF? Another Set of Nendo Puchi K-ON?!

Yes, seriously... WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK.

Barely two months ago, they, the GSC, already announced the pre-order for their nendo puchi K-ON release which made me rage. Because I didn't manage to get the nendo Ritsu, I ended up pre-ordered those puchis.

Now, all the K-ON nendo I ordered have arrived except for Ui who will be joining the group soon. I have also received figma Ritsu and Tsumugi and pre-ordered the Alter Ritsu as well.

I was content.

Until I saw this piece of news on Twitter about the Limited Set Nendo Puchis of K-ON. Fucking again!


Instead of all five girls, they are selling it in sets. Thank goodness the first set doesn't have Ritsu in it otherwise I couldn't help myself from placing the pre-order. Obviously Set B will include Ritsu, Tsumugi and Ui, coincidentally the only girls that I can actually stand in this series. Maybe I'll consider buying that. But how many K-ON figures do I want in my collection =\

I just want Ritsu...

Gah, I need to put a halt on my obsession with Ritsu ♥

More nendo temptation

Remember my wish list figures?

I have already pre-ordered all three of the Haruhi Suzumiya figures and very happy about that. Now The Figure Mall is opening pre-order for few new figures including nendoroid Hirasawa Ui and nendoroid Date Masamune. Both of these figures are in my wish list so naturally I am more than incline to get them.

The reason why I want Ui is because I have all the other K-ON girls. I figure I might as well have her and make the collection more compelte since after much deliberations and thoughts, I decided to purchase the nendo Ritsu (which now cost MYR420 excluding shipping). Wish me luck with the negotiation!


Then we have Date Masamune. Like I mentioned before, I just couldn't resist the eyepatch and the helmet. They are so darn cute. Given his serious expression, it just makes the figure even more darn adorable instead of intimidating. nyoron~

By the way, Date is not from GSC. This might be the first time I'm getting a Phat Company's figure. I feel less guilty about it now XD


But why must they open the pre-order for both figures at the same time?! Jeebus! *cries*

There goes my plan to go to the Universal Studio >>

On a side note, I am really glad that I made that wish list. I have been tempted to get other figures but since I have the wish list, I am more focus of what to get instead of wanting everything that I see. I am still broke but at least I can still afford them ^^

Nendoroid Puchi: Death Note - Case File #02

These puchi came shortly after the vocaloid. Unlike with the vocaloid, I really do like these nendo petite probably because I am more familiar with them than those synthesizer wannabe. Who wouldn't know them, right?

Just so you know, these puchi do not come ready assembled. You have to assemble those tiny body parts yourself, just like I did with the vocaloid. And it was not an easy thing to do because they are tiny and I have a bad experience with broken figure part. Luckily I have small hands.

The reason why I want these puchi is because L is one of my favorite anime characters. I missed the chance to get the nendo so I make do with the puchi instead.

There are two L in the box. One holding a tennis racket and the other is talking to the phone. Both come with the cutest expression ever.


Also, look at the hair. I love the details on it. The same goes for Kira's puchi. The hair in my opinion was the cutest part for all the three Kira. One of the Kira is wearing a suit with a police badge in his hand, the other is Kira stripping for me and the third one is Kira in a sports gear ready to play tennis. If he thinks L want to play tennis with him, think again Kira.


Alright that is five of the puchi. There are seven left with one of them as the mystery character. Next up is Near. Besides L, my second favorite character from the series is Near. Probably because he resembles L a lot. I also have a thing for white-haired character. Just like his predecessor, Near too have a perfect hair for a figure. There are two Near in this puchi box. One with him awkwardly sitting with his toys, and the other is of him standing with a robot toy in his arm.


Then there is Mello who comes with two different expression and accessories. One is of him eating a bar of chocolate, which I found quite funny and would snickers every time I look at his face and the other of him holding a pistol/revolver.


I don't like Mello that much. His outfit is a big turn off for me. It made him looks like a cheap gigolo or something similar to that. But his eyes are pretty though.

The other figure in the box is Teru Mikami. His design must be the most boring design out of all the puchi. A black suit with a black file case and a black megane. The hair too made him looks like a girl wearing a suit. I guess I have to blame it on his job.


The mystery figure for this box is none other than Misa Amane, Kira's whore. She is wearing a white nurse outfit. I can't say much about her because I really don't like her.


Aight, that's it. I feel so relieved that I get this review finally done and over with. They arrived back in late February and it took me this long to do a review on them because I keep procrastinating with shits.

This only left me with three more set figure to review.

Nendo puchi K-ON!: Seriously WTF?!!

Oh yeah, my rage has not subsided. Far from it. In fact it just multiplied by >9000. I have been looking up and down for Ritsu nendo and actually found one but the seller want to take 150% profit from it. Ah fuck... RAGE!!!

So they fucked up the number of nendo Ritsu just so when they release their nendo puchi for K-ON!, people like me, who wants Ritsu so badly would consider buying the set. Argh you fucking greedy evil people at GSC!


You see that picture? That was my plan for the nendo. To have a complete set even though I couldn't stand most of them. But nooo.... they fucked up the production number of Ritsu and gave no fucking explanation what so ever to the customer. So now I only have four girls who I don't give a fuck about. What good will it do? It will just made me rage every time I saw them.

So now the bastards are producing the nendo puchi for K-ON!, which was undoubtedly cute because Ritsu is in it. Gah! This mean I need to spend another couple of hundreds of dollars to buy this one.

I want so bad to ignore this but...

I want Ritsu :(

So I'm going to be another one of their consumers that they fucked up but still spend money and made them richer. Looks like their marketing plan works -__-

Oh by the way, the puchi is in the set of 12. Besides the school uniform, we'll also be getting them in a swim suit.


Kaito and those boys from Death Note are going to be so happy. Arawn, however, will probably get them all ^^

Nendoroid Puchi: Vocaloid #01

I figured it is time for me to unbox nendoroid puchi Vocaloid. The puchis have been waiting to be freed since February. To be honest, it took this long for me to unbox it is because I kinda regret buying it. I asked my fellow bloggers' opinion about this one before I purchased it. I shouldn't have listen to them. LOL

But yeah, I think there are two reasons why I bought it. The first one was because both Suzumiya and Lucky.Star puchi were sold out when I wanted to purchase it at that time. I was left with no choice but the vocaloid puchi. The second reason was because of Miku. She was is the rave at that point in time. Everyone wants to have a Miku in their collection. I guess I was influenced by these collectors -_-

There are two Mikus in the box. They are both cute, I admit, but after I got them, I completely lost interest with her as a figurine. Two are plenty already.

I should have listen to my instinct. It's not like I like the vocaloid. Sure, I think some of the songs ain't half bad but that's about it. I barely know who they are. I know I like Kaito and Len though but don't give a rat ass about the others. Not even Miku. Too bad Kaito and Len's nendo were sold out as well. Hence the purchased of these puchis so I can have Kaito and Len in my collection.

Since then I have learned my lesson. I will only buy figures of character that I am crazy about. It would just be a waste of money buying something that I don't give a damn about. Sure they are tiny and cute and all but that is as far as my liking goes.

Now let me attempt to see how many of these vocaloid that I get the name right. Those of you who are a tard for these vocaloid, feel free to inform/correct me if I'm wrong. I need some guidance. Who knows if my passion for the vocaloid can be spawned.

Anyway, about these puchis, they actually pose quite a challenge. The joints were pretty difficult to put together. I was very careful because I was afraid I might break any of the parts. And then some of the parts were lose fitting. Putting the complete figure to the stand is another trying challenge for me. At some point, I was so pissed off, I took a 3 hours break to cool myself down.

For the mystery figure, I get another Haku. *sigh* I was hoping for another Kaito or Len. Why must I got the least favorite one? Damn GSC. I swear this is a conspiracy!

Hmm, actually after writing this post, I feel a lot more appreciative towards these puchis. I guess getting to know them does make my heart grows fonder for them.

Remember me making such a big deal about nendoroid Tainaka Ritsu? Yeah, I doubt you do. I'm not that important for you to remember such detail. But fuck that, now I'm gonna rant.

Did you remember me telling you that Good Smile Company is evil? Yeah these motherfucka just played me good. I've got all four of the other K-ON! girls (actually three, but Tsumugi is practically on her way) because I have made the pre-order for nendoroid Tainaka Ritsu. I wonder since I got her, I might as well ordered the rest of the girls as to complete the group. I don't really give a fuck about the other girls but I don't want Ritsu to be lonely so I thought I shouldn't be too selfish. I did the same thing with the figma but instead of getting all of them, I just bought Tsumugi because my shouta plays the keyboard. At least it will remind me of him.

Here comes the bad news though. Nendoroid Ritsu was scheduled to be released in February 2010. I have been waiting for her arrival since then. But yesterday my supplier, where I have put my pre-order since the fucking January, called and said that GSC only produced limited number for Ritsu which mean the figure is out of stock. They informed me that GSC might do the re-stock but they did not know when would it be and the price for the figure will definitely sky-rocketed.

Did you see what they just did? Those fucking greedy bastards. I have spent hundred of dollars to buy the other four girls who I don't give a damn fuck, just because I want to complete the set, and they did this to me? I am sure I am not the only victim for this cruelty.

So now I am looking high and low for the other suppliers who can get me this figure. Argh, this is fucking frustrating!

I better calm my rage...

Nendoroid Yui Hirasawa

Yet another delay on my figurine updates. I received this in March. I don't like Yui in K-ON! but I have to admit that the black stockings really got my attention. For some reason, when I saw the figure I know I have to get her because the stocking kinda makes her super kawaii and sexy at the same time. I don't know what's wrong with my sense of appreciation but that's how it is.


So she comes with 3 extra arms, 2 bend legs, 3 different facial expression, guitah, guitar strap, amp and 2 extra hands, one of it holding a pic.

Yui and her smiling face. Oh so carefree...

I dunno why I don't like her. Maybe I do. I dunno. But she sure irks me a lot when I saw her on K-ON. I guess it has something to do with her being incredulously stupid. Stupid people gets on my nerves. They make me wants to bitch slap them for no reason.


Overall I think Yui looks more "complete" if compared to Mio. I couldn't figure out why but Nendo Mio kinda disappoint me a bit. Maybe because she is not wearing the black stockings? Or maybe its the blue box? I know I don't like the blue box.

Besides the stockings, I have to say that I like Yui's hair as well especially when you look at it from the back. They looks so fluffy and so Yui. Does this mean that Good Smile Company managed to get the essence of Yui?

*shrugs*

I can't wait for Ritsu to arrive. Yui and Ritsu kinda one and the same when it comes to being lazy and carefree although Yui's stupidity is borderline ridiculous. Besides, Ritsu is the president of the After School Tea Time. She should be the one who got sculptured first. Grr...

But until Ritsu is here, there will only be Yui and Mio to entertain the crowd with their annoying bubblegum pop songs. I am not surprised that only the vocaloids who seem to enjoy it.


Oh well at least now Mio won't be alone and scared anymore because she will get her hands full with Yui antics. I don't think even Arawn can handle her.

Nendoroid Drössel

I forgot when did she arrive in my mail box. Probably back in February. I totally forgot to make a post about my latest figures (there are a lot of them) until I saw a folder that has "gambo patung" (translated to figure pictures) as it's title. There is no special reason why I chose to do a post on Drössel first. Just because.


So nendo Drössel pretty much came with the same parts that her big sister Figma has except for the book. Apparently nendo Drössel is lazy and I believe a bit dense despite the size of her head.


I have yet to try the light of her eyes though. Probably never will *shrugs*

She can stand on her own when she's wearing her normal head piece. She does looks kinda cute, isn't she? She has lost her sassy-ness with her decreasing body size.


However once she tried out different head piece, it was obvious that she has lost her balance. Even the stand is not sufficient to make her stand up right. I have to hold her up.


I think it was a shame though because just like her sister Figma, I love it when Drössel adorned the above head piece. It might be because of the flower design but yeah, I like it a lot.

Just like Mio, I is yet to take her out from the display cabinet and have her mingles with the rest of the figures family or have a family photoshoot. I am too busy nowadays and barely has time to spend times with my kids T_T

Nendoroid Mio Akiyama

I have got this figure since 2 months back together with the Vocaloid puchis. I am so freaking lazy with figures review for some reason. That is why it took this long for me to upload these photos which was taken a month back. This is going to be a text book review.


Standard nendo box. I don't like the blue though. Maybe that's why I have no mood to review her? *shrugs*


There ya go! The only reason I bought the K-ON! nendos was because of the equipments. I can't resist the cute bass guitar or the guitar strap or the amp. Besides the equipments, Nendo Mio comes with several hands, a leg and 3 different facial expressions.

I like that they get the hair right. I also like the uniform. It's pretty flexible and honestly I would love to wear this sort of uniform back in school. Unfortunately Malaysia has stupid dress code for a school uniform.


What I don't like about this nendo is that she can't stand on her own. She needed the support from the stand to stand upright. Since I have yet to figure out how to use the stand properly, I have trouble keeping her standing straight. She is not stable at all ^_^


I have a thing for a bass player. With their hands caressing the long neck, I think they are just damn cool. I have yet to take her any where else. She has been sitting in my display case since she arrived. It would be just too much trouble bringing her along since I have to bring the stand too. I'll just wait for her friends to arrive for a group photo shoot.

Speaking of which, Yui, Drossel and Death Note puchis are still in their boxes -__-

Oh by the way, I did not forget to take the most important part of Mio that has become her trademark.
