Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

Watch Ao no Exorcist episode 20. My heart reaches out to Yukio. I don't like where the story is going :(

Sunday, September 18

I am trying to catch up with A-1 Pictures' anime for the season. I have been neglecting them for way too long, I kinda feel about it. Why o why do they do these two lackluster animes? Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 1000% episode 3: It isn't surprising to learn that Nanami Haruka and Ittoki Otoya passed the test. Ichinose Tokiya isn't as lucky though. He sang perfectly but lacks the heart to convey the song. But of course there has to be drama surrounding Nanami. Everyone still thinks she got in because of connection etc. She lets that fucking get to her and thus when the teacher asked her to play the piano, she froze. Again. And again. Of all the guys, Hijirikawa Masato steps up and console her. Needless to say, I was pissed off. He's my favorite among the others. Damn it Haruka stops stealing my man!

He and I need to fornicate now!

Next up is The iDOLM@STER episode 4: Haruka, Hibiki, Takane and Chihaya are to build two team and compete in a cooking battle show. Chihaya isn't happy because she didn't get the chance to sing in that Gero Gero Kitchen show but she manages to overcome her problem at the second half of the show. Happy ending. On the other hand, Producer-san thinks he knows next to nothing about the girls after he learned that Chihaya lives alone all this time.

durian in my iDOLM@STER :3

Diary of a tard: Week 1, August 2011

Monday, August 1

First day of fasting.

Uta no Prince-sama ~Maji Love 1000%~ episode 2: The guy that Haruka saw in the last episode is Hayato's twin brother, Ichinose Tokiya. They have completely opposite personality. Meh, so cliche. Anyway, the class starts and they were told that they have to pair for the graduation performance. A pair of idol and composer. There's an important rule though: no romance. Meh, again... so fucking cliche. Haruka was asked to play a piano but she can't read music sheet so obviously people start bad-mouthing her. She has to pair up with Ittoki Otoya for an assignment and feels like a burden. Fuck, I feel like puking. Gah! It was so fucking predictable. At least watching Otoya asking for guidance is entertaining. In the end, they both composed a great song which Ichinose is not too happy about for some reason.

Episode 2 of Blood-C: I wonder who is it at the beginning, asking all those questions. It's must be either one of her male classmate. I suspect Tokizane. Hmm, this ought to be interesting. Even more so when there's apparently love triangle going on between clueless Saya, Tomofusa and Tokizane. Also, apparently the vampire in this show is called Elden Bairn. I have no fucking idea what was it.

On to episode 3 of Blood-C. Yes, I planned to catch up to this show tonight. Tadayoshi, Saya's father definitely dotes on her and Saya herself loves his father very much. Saya is not adopted this time around then. Heh. Back to the episode, people in town starts to disappear and Saya suspects its the work of vampires. It was fucking eerie when the baker gets into the train. Saya could have saved him but she just watched? O_o Also, I begin to suspect that the mysterious dude is actually Fumito =\

I haven't talked about the OP of Blood-C but it seems like it is sang using three different languages: Japanese, English and France. After episode 4, as expected it grows on me. Not sure if it will be my favorite though. Anyhoo Saya is bothered with what the man-eater train said before it died: "honor the covenant". She shouldn't worry about that too much though. She should be worried about Tokizane who seems like he's in love with Saya all of a sudden. I feel sorry for Tomofusa. On a different note, Saya's opponents are getting stronger. More victims died in front of her as she became helpless. At least she got a hint though. The covenant = "Shrovetide". Whatever the fuck that is.

Saturday, August 6

Suddenly feels like reading some manga. I choose Prunus Girl, just because I'm in a mood for some trap and gender bender. On to chapter 17: Aikawa decides to wear Maki's boy uniform but everyone is against it, especially the boys lol. In chapter 18, the class president once again confessed her love towards Maki. She's so straightforward, even telling Maki she expected him to fill her sexual needs lol. Aikawa and Maki were also summoned to the student council where they'll meet Chris, the president of the student council. He wants them both to join the student council in chapter 19. They also met the vice-president who is so much better looking than any of the guys so far.

First Impression: Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%

The second anime produced by A-1 Pictures for this season. Naturally I feel oblige to watch this show just for that reason alone, though I must admit that I'm not looking forward to the story itself. I think the studio can do much better than this. I hope the bishies are fappable enough to make up for what it's lacking. Pfft, who am I kidding. There will be BL in this show! I demand it!

What klux-sama wants, klux-sama gets!

I expect a lot of things but I didn't expect a show about J-Pop idols. I should have but it just doesn't cross my mind. Since I'm not a fan of J-Pop (only J-Rock) and is much more familiar with the K-Pop, I found this show extremely hilarious. It's like watching behind the scene shiznit about the groups, which quite frankly I don't mind at all. Watching them perform on stage with groovy dance moves like that, and fans chanting... yup definitely K-Pop idols. 2PM perhaps? They definitely fits the bill. lol they should used their song for this show instead of the first ED of Ao no Exorcist.

These six idols are students at Saotome Academy, the most prestige performing arts school in the country. There they met this lucky bitch named Haruka who is the subject of their affection for some reason that's lost to me. Who gives a fuck about her anyway?

Since A-1 Pictures produced this, I know I won't be disappointed with the characters. They are known for beautiful, pretty and hot characters and for a harem show, they definitely make the characters desirable. I certainly want them boys to be in my pantsu so naturally that warrants me to be jealous of Haruka who by the way, looks a bit off with that pupil of hers. She reminds me of Paprika but in term of personality and likeability, she is the tasteless gum at the bottom of Paprika's shoes.

Meet my new fappable characters

The story itself reminds me a little bit of La Corda D'oro Prima Passo and Miracle Train. It is predictable from the get go but I convinced myself that I'm not watching this for the cliche story line but for the characters and possibility of BL. To be honest, I tuned out the part that has Haruka and only focus on the boys. I am so used with yaoi that doing that is a cinch which mean I am enjoying this one more than I should have.

In order words, I am disappointed at how bad the story is. Not to mention that aside from the character, the animation and arts are definitely below the usual par that A-1 Pictures set for his anime. It's like this show has the lowest budget in all of their anime. Well, can't blame them really. I won't spend so much on shit like this too.

Oh well. I'm being honest here. I am gonna watch this because of the bishie characters as well as the seiyuu. If those aren't your thing, best to stir clear from this show.

Watch at your own risk.

arts & animation 5/10
story 4/10
characters 6/10
sound 7/10
enjoyment 6/10
overall 6/10
