Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

First Impression: Red Data Girl (RDG)

My first impression gonna be short and simple. The reasons for that are easy. I don't have much time and I rather spend my time watching anime than blogging but I'm doing these first impression posts nonetheless because I need a reference and a reminder of what shows I've seen, what shows worth the watch or which one should be in my anishit list.

You see, I'm writing this post for selfish reasons and I'm OK with it.

(c) pixiv id 223362

Like I've said in my preview, P.A. Works often produced good shows and their animations are somewhat always seem flawless. Red Data Girl (RDG) is no exception. It got me intrigued in the first minute of the show which is quite a feat to do for anime these days.

So far I like how it's developing. That tsundere male protagonist will somewhat spoiled the show for me but it's alright since he's a shouta and a bishie at that. Also, there are other bishies to look forward to so it's all good.

Besides that shallow reasoning, I like the fact that they don't just spilled the beans with Izumiko. I like the fact that she's still somewhat a mysterious female protagonist in this first episode. Aside from her destroying the computers in the lab, I can't really tell for sure what her power is yet.

By the way, can I have a manservant too? Please? =3

First Impression: Kyousogiga (2012)

After the one episode ONA, they have decided to do 5 episodes ONA for Kyousogiga. Too bad the release dates for the five episodes are too far apart and is scheduled to end in December. Furthermore, each episode is only 10 minutes long. But nonetheless, it's better than nothing, right?

The first episode pretty much introduced us to Koto's childhood, where she lives and trained by her master, mostly known as Fox. The both of them didn't go by the rules, and shared something in common. Both of them have crimson eyes which in my opinion, hot as fuck, especially if he's a guy. But that aside, something that her master said, made her wants to find her mom, even though as she grew up, she knew that she doesn't exist but pretends that she is anyway.

The two kids from the previous ONA are actually her familiars, A and Un. Now that she's in mirror city Kyoto, she lives with Myoe, the priest that take care of them and so the wackiness continue.

Towards the end of the episode, a gate appeared and looks like Koto is about to go through. We just have to wait another month to see where it leads >_>

My thoughts about the production, seiyuu, and everything else regarding Kyousogiga remain the same. It is still manage to grab my attention and fulfill my desire for something different. Thank you Toei Animation.

Episodes: Unknown
Producers: Seven
Genres: School

I didn't know this show is only 3 minutes per episode. I wonder what can be achieved for a short stint anime like this. Hardly anything and hopefully it won't be too annoying and made that 3 minutes feel like an eternity.

I saw Rie Kugimiya as one of the seiyuu and thought that this is going to be another shitty anime that Glo has to watch in order to complete his quest. Right then I saw Aya Hirano as one of the other seiyuus as well and thus, I feel obligated to watch this show regardless how shitty it is. The torture that we subjected onto ourselves sometimes Orz

Atsushi and Atsumi
(c) pixiv id 2461540

My brain was trying to compute logic since the beginning even though I already know that the basic story line of a boy who looks like grown man and the older sister who looks like a kindergarten student. Because of these differences, Atsushi, the younger boy, got into a lot of misunderstood situation. For example, in this episodde Atsushi was apprehended by the police as being the suspected molester when all he did was showing his scarf to his kindergarten female friend.

There was nothing outstanding about this show. Everything was average, from the art to the animation and even the seiyuu and overall direction of the show. Though it wasn't bad, it wasn't particularly good either. Also, did I mention that Aya's character actually has a melon size boobs for a change?

But meh, Recorder to Randoseru (or Recorder and Randsell in English) certainly meets my expectation as another anime that is made for god knows-what-reason that we fans can't think of. Does Japanese really watch this kind of shows on TV? O_o

First Impression: Kill Me Baby

Episodes: Unknown
Producers: J.C. Staff
Genres: Comedy, School

For some weird reason, I have this illogical thoughts that Kill My Baby will be brilliant with it's humor and witty comedy. I have no idea where did I get such thought when I didn't even watch any of the preview (if they had one). I usually will brush off this kind of shows so I was wondering myself what makes me thought that this one will be any different. Let's find out shall we whether I was right, or I will end up killing myself after 24 minutes.

(c) Youkan

Kill Me Baby is a story about two friends, Yasuna and Sonya. Yasuna is the happy-go-lucky type of girl while Sonya is more serious in personality because her job requires her to be so. She is an assassin and is always wary of contact. Unfortunately though, she is pretty much scared with everything else. There is also Agiri, someone Sonya knows from her group of assassins. Agiri is a ninja but she's more like a con artist rather than anything else.

The stints are most like gags which added to the fun. Though it wasn't thought-provoking show, it is not trying to be what it isn't. It stick to what it do best, which is the comedy that transpired/caused through the interaction between Sonya and Yasuna. Nothing more and nothing lss. The art was simple and I actually really like the chibi feel of the character designs.

The repetition of "kill me bebeh" in the OP can either annoy you or makes you want Sonya to really kill you, which is a good thing. I wonder how simplistic a person must be to create song like that? But the ED is pretty hypnotic with the disco music beat and the singing which was done both my the protagonists: Mutsumi Tamura and Chinatsu Akasaki. Speaking of these two seiyuu I really like the fact that both of them managed to embody the essence of their characters respectively. They made them believable when they communicate and being friends despite the difference in personalities. Though Sonya looks sorta like Nagi, she quickly becomes my favorite character between the two friends mainly because of the job well done by her seiyuu, Mutsumi Tamura.

So far Kill Me Baby does not disappoint me with the delivery of it's first episode. I hope J.C. Staff can keep this momentum going because I am certainly looking forward to watch the next episode.

Kyousogiga

Type: ONA
Episodes: 1
Producers: Toei Animation
Genres: Supernatural

I was impressed when I first saw Kyousogiga in the preview. My initial thought was that this might turned out as a twisted version of Alice in Wonderland. It has to do with the whole art on that poster. It promised me something that is unconventional and somewhat gave me hope that the animation would be flawless. So yeah, good luck Toei Animation. Let see if you can meet my expectation...

Well... it is definitely not Alice in Wonderland other than the part that she wants to go home and there's somewhat rabbit involved. Kyousogiga just pretty much thrown you into a wacky world where the characters fight with giant balloon hammer and stopped car with their legs. The enemies were naught but a poorly drawn character that were all white and yet you can tell that they were from the mafia or something. These fights were observed by some higher up and they kept communicating (more like yelling) with the characters through out the fight. All these happened without them bothering to introduce us to any of the characters. It's either you keep up or fuck off.

That's the beauty of this show. It doesn't try to please the audience. It just pretty much do whatever the fuck it wants. Who the hell cares if it makes little sense to anyone else?

I finally get the gist of things towards the end. I am writing this for my own personal purpose so I won't forget the details. Beware spoilers in this paragraph. Read at your own risk; Kyusogiga took place at a mirror Kyoto town. Koto, the female kid protagonist is somewhat connected to the Lady Koto, the rabbit that everyone is looking for. She, her brother, A and Un, live with Myoe. He and his other two siblings created a congregation of the three to bring Lady Koto back. At the end, they wanted to annihilate - or seemingly looks like it - Koto but Myoe disagree and they fought. When all hope seemed lost, Lady Koto appeared and suddenly everyone lives happily ever after. /spoiler.

I fall in love with the characters for a show that only last for 25 minutes but then again, I always like characters that defy anything conventional or of the norm and these characters definitely fit the bill. Koto is loud and for once they actually made a character acted her age. I love it when at the end she was crying her eyes out because her first kiss was stolen by another girl. The twin (I assumed they are), are just so much fun even with the quieter Un. You can see that A looked up to Koto by he way he behave and act. Then there's Myoe, a fucking hot bishie of a monk who doesn't really goes by the rules. I found myself wiping my drools a few time looking at him. The other cast of supporting characters completed the show even though we basically have no clue what are their purpose etc. For example, who is Inari?

I don't usually pay any attention to the OP or ED unless they really are something that match my personal taste so forgive me if I said that they are pretty unmemorable. I'm writing this after 10 minutes of watching the show and I already forget what it sounds like. It didn't leave any impact for my taste bud and thus I leave the review for the OP and ED to the expert. What I want to highlight however is the fact that the cast of seiyuu really did a good job bringing their characters personality to life. I don't think I would have a bOnar for Myoe if it wasn't for the right sound of voice that comes out of his animated mouth. Kenichi Suzumura sounded so smexy in this one *faps*. I am not a fan of Rie Kugimiya mainly because she played too many tsundere characters. I am glad that it wasn't the case for Koto though and thus, I'm going to compliment her for this show as well. Not one character sounds obnoxious, not even the demon Yase who kinda have a bipolar personality.

The animation didn't disappoint me at all. I get what I asked for. It was something that we didn't see often in anime and I appreciate stuff like this. In a glance, it reminds me of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann with it's over the top sequence of everything. Well, I should expect this right? After all, this ONA is produced by the same studios that brought us Mononoke and Lovely Complex. I can't complain about the art either. After all, I was impressed with a simple poster and they delivered what they promised. The character designs got me drooling and the whole background just fits nicely with the random wackiness that this show provides.

If I have to describe Kyousogiga, I will say that it is like a cross between Gintama and Yozakura no Quartet with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann in the middle. Doesn't make sense, does it now? Exactly. I keep wondering what the hell am I watching and yet I found it so very entertaining.

Digest that!

I wish they made a TV series out of this one. So yeah. Watch this if you need a (good) mind fuck. That's all I have to say.

Bleach: Hell Verse - Jigoku-hen

Jigoku-hen or Hell Verse is the fourth movies for Bleach. I have no idea why I waited this long to watch this movie when I have the file on my computer since last two months. I feel slightly guilty towards Ichigo and Rukia. But hey, better late than never, right?

This movie was directed by the same director that did the other three movies, Noriyuki Abe but have different writers: Masahiro Okubo and Natsuko Takahashi. This movie is also sticking with Shiro Sagisu for the music score. I'm not complaining because he's good with what he does. I'm sure Daniel will agree with me on this one. The ending theme however is sang by T.M. Revolution which I know from watching Soul Eater. I first learned about the movie through the promotional chapter that was released around November last year titled Imaginary Number 01: The Unforgivens.

The movie starts with the Ulquiorra versus hollow Ichigo fight on top of the Hueco Mundo dome. I think I repeated that fight for at least 10 times before I proceed with the rest of the movie. It was just too fucking awesome that I couldn't get enough of it. This movie is off to a good start.

This movie reminds us a lot of the old Bleach. I mean, right after that awesome fight, it shows Ichigo normal routines as a teenage boy. It is just like episode/chapter 1 of Bleach which is just great in my opinion. We have seen too much unnecessary drama lately in both the anime and manga that I feel relieved they went back to the root with this one. Or sorta.

yeah, I missed this ^_^

We even get to see Rukia's masterpiece :D

Ichigo was under surveillance by an unknown enemy, which I assumed was the guy we seen earlier that was made human by hell itself. But I was wrong. They were these mask men with exceptional fighting abilities who called themselves Sinners from Hell. Ishida, Chad, Renji and even Ichigo were having problem defeating them. They were definitely not your average villains. Apparently their power lies with their mask though. Once broken they will be taken by the Hell's Gate.

They were not only attacking Ichigo but wais a threat to his family as well. Gunjo and Shuren already have Karin and Yuzu in their custody. Their mission was to invite Ichigo back to hell since they have an "assignment" for him. As if it would be that easy. They would have succeeded at kidnapping both Yuzu and Karin if Kokuto didn't stopped them. Unfortunately though Yuzu was taken as a bargaining chip.

Ichigo: "Get your hands off Rukia!"

The Sinners wish was simple: they want to be released from hell so they wanted Ichigo to destroy the Hell's Gate. Looked like Ichigo didn't have much of a choice, huh?

Sinners still have their powers in order to keep them sane by holding on to their resentment or their memories, otherwise they would have been taken over by the guards. They would have been eaten, tortured and revived repeatedly until they are brain dead and pretty much heartless too.

I was surprised to find out that Kokuto was actually not the bad guy in this movie. No wonder I have seen a lot of shipping going on for him and Rukia heh. He has this nonchalant attitude that I can't help but take an instant liking for. Plus he was pretty mysterious (not to mention dubious) showing up like he owned the place and readily agreed to bring them to hell to save Yuzu. I have a feeling that he is actually the mastermind. Hmmm...

that should have ring some warning bells...

So Hell was not under Soul Society jurisdiction but they were under their surveillance. Shinigami are forbidden to intervene in anything that is related to Hell so I guess Renji and Rukia were breaking the rules for the sake of Yuzu and Ichigo.

Once inside Hell, the guards wasted no time chasing after them. I'm impressed that Rukia managed to keep up with the guys. Heh, that's my girl. In order to fight them, Ichigo had to use his Getsuga Tenshou but strangely his hollow mask appeared automatically when he did that and thus made his attack even more powerful. Ah I see... This was why Shuren wanted him to help them out.

The air inside the hell must have affected him. This will bring out his dormant power. Eventually he will be hollowfied completely. Shit just got more interesting y'all!

free-falling like nobody's business

On the second level of hell, they were once again confronted by the Sinners who attacked them at Karakura Town (I lost my appetite when I see Taikon true form behind the cloak. That is just so fucking gross). Ichigo and his crew had trouble yet again taking care of them, even more so since they were stronger in hell than they were in human world. Since they were taking too long, Ichigo and Kokuto will move forward while Ishida, Rukia and Renji took care of those three fuglies. The original plan was for Rukia to follow them too but that fucktard Sinner had to interfere. Goddammit. Now I'm pissed.

KABOOM!

There is a giant guard welcoming Ichigo and Kokuto at level three of hell. Kokuto saved Ichigo who in turn, saved him back. Since Kokuto was hurt, he wanted Ichigo to go save Yuzu alone and leave him. He also came clean as to why he was helping them. He became a Sinner because of his sister. Hmm, credible story indeed. He even asked Ichigo to free him from hell so he could be reborn and apologize to his sister. I must say, very well played Kokuto. I almost believe you.

I kept focusing on Ichigo but Ishida, Renji and Rukia done an exceptionally good job with the fighting. They definitely kept me entertain while Ichigo kept obsessing about saving Yuzu. This was why I love the shinigami (and Quincy) and thinks Bleach can't do without them. Just look at the recent arc Kubo made. It was too fucking stupid and incredibly boring without the Shinigami. Those Xcutioners can't even hold a candle next to these stupid Sinners. I missed seeing them using their full abilities to fight the enemy and Rukia pulled that same trick she did with Aoroniero back in Hueco Mundo. AWESOME.

tentacle rapes. First with Aaroniero now with Gunjo

And we are only halfway through the movie. Jeebus, look at how long this review is lol. tl;dr much?

However, just like Kokuto said, Sinners don't die in Hell. They will revived and all those hard work that Renji, Ishida and Rukia put up were for nothing.

And I took back my suspicious on Kokuto. It looked like he was seriously a good guy who caught up in a difficult situation and thus became a Sinner. He was having a hard time dealing with Shuren's three lackeys while Shuren himself has a face off with Ichigo. Kokuto even sacrificed himself to save Yuzu. This just forced Ichigo over the edge and as usual, he relied on his hollow power in the end which was playing right into Shuren's hand. Or so I thought. Shuren was underestimating Ichigo's powers too much and he was done for in just under a minute.

Wow... that was unimpressive -__-

the most short-lived villain in the history of Bleach. What a waste of such good looking face

But... JUST LIKE I PREDICTED KOKUTO FUCKING THREW HIS BLADE AT ICHIGO OUT OF NOWHERE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Twist upon twist, just like how I like it. Oh man, my pantsu is soaked.

And so Kokuto has revealed his true nature

Like I said earlier. Kokuto was the mastermind and he was just using Shuren and the others to lure Ichigo into Hell. Rukia, Ishida and Renji came just in time to be cut down by Kokuto. LOL I know this sounded pathetic but Ichigo needed a catalyst to make him hollowfied right? Once he saw Rukia's down and Yuzu was about to be thrown into the larva, he totally lost it and so Kokuto's wish was granted.

*sighs* Ichigo was so predictable. This is why the bad guys always used him. He never learned, did he? First with Aizen, then Ginjou now Kokuto. Oh well, it is his short-tempered-act-first-think-later attitude that makes me root for him in the first place. Besides, his power is really unmatched for when he is completely hollowfied and that just fucking turns me on >=3

I kinda felt sorry for Kokuto actually. He had no fucking idea what was in store for him. Sure, Ichigo managed to destroy Hell as he wanted but he had to pay a hefty price for it. Once Ichigo hollowfied, he was totally out of control. Thankfully Renji and Rukia came prepared. They reserved a spell that can take Ichigo back to the real world and used it on Ichigo when Kokuto had his last two chains to be destroyed. Heh Kokuto, you've been punk'd dude.

At the same time, Soul Society had took precaution when the Hell Gate was destroyed. They stopped the miasma from hell from over flowing to the real world by sending out the kido team. But they can't do a damn thing about Yuzu. Even Inoue was useless. Yuzu has been too long in Hell and has become one of the Sinner herself. The Old Fuck told Ichigo it was all his fault IN HIS FACE! The nerves of the fucker. I mean, I was sure they knew what was going on which was why they had the old fuck in the real world and so on. They could have done something to prevent this shit from going down but they did nothing. They weren't any better than the villains in my opinion. They have been using Ichigo from day one too >_>

The discrimination against hollows annoyed the fuck out of me. If the fucker fucking knew what will happen if Ichigo went berserk then why the fucking hell didn't he stop him? Jeebus I'm mad.

I am also worried that no one seems to bother about Renji, Ishida and Rukia who were still stuck in Hell. I can understand why Ichigo wasn't. He was too depressed to think about anything else right now but if he didn't do something then who will?

no, duh!

Byakuya, that's who! Though he didn't do anything much but told Ichigo that he should be aware of their attention for letting him escaped alone. While they were having a conversation for Rukia's hand in marriage, the chain that binded Yuzu to hell miraculously disappeared and she has been saved. I have no fucking clue what just happened but this puts ideas into Ichigo's head so he decided to go back to Hell to save Rukia and the others. w00t!

determined Ichigo is DETERMINED!

Obviously shinigami from Soul Society will not let him entered Hell again but he won't be Kurosaki Ichigo that I love if he would just listened and nodded his head at whatever people tells him to do. Thankfully he didn't have to waste his energy on them for they were busy dealing with the Hell's Will.

Kokuto was ready for round two when Ichigo's arrived and this time he has bad news. Rukia had been chained by hell while Ishida and Renji were waiting for their turn. The only way to save her now is to break the chain and to do that Ichigo had to hollowfied. He tried hard to defeat Kokuto without depending on his hollow powers but Kokuto was just too strong. Not only that but since it's Hell, it's easier for his hollow to take over his body. Well, you shouldn't underestimated Ichigo. His resolution usually was stronger than anything in this world. He managed to not relent to his hollow power and fucking transform into something else.

I know this is serious but it's like his 103934960th transformation in Bleach. It's hard to take it seriously.

even more so when he sparkled more than Edward Cullen >_>

Apparently even Hell was on Ichigo's side. The Guards fucking lent him their powers. In the end, Ichigo just wounded Kokuto while Hell did the rest of the work. There was no way Kokuto can escaped hell now.

And that was how Ichigo saved the fucking world yet again.

THE END.

The animation wasn't as consistent as I wanted it to be but I shouldn't complain much because when it comes to the fight, it was amazing. The camera angles used for those shots were brilliant. It just makes you feel so "in the moment" if you know what I mean. Aside from that I think since this is a story about Hell, it kinda fall sort at portraying Hell which could be considered as a major failure. It was too cozy and lacking elements of torture, gruesomeness and plain out... well... Hell.

It wasn't as good as Fade to Black (that is by far the best Bleach movie out of the bunch). While Fade to Black colors were very bright and very details, this movie was a lot duller and wasn't as smooth. Hell, it was sort of a contrast between Ichigo vs Ulquiorra fight and the rest of the movie. You can tell the different almost on the get go. I sorta feel cheated to be honest

Unlike Fade to Black which was laced with hidden meanings, Hell Verse was pretty straight forward with the story that it wanna tell. It was fun but kinda monotonous towards the end. They should have used Shuren longer because he has so much potential to develop a more interesting ending. Jigoku-hen just doesn't have a climax in my opinion, unlike with Ichigo and Rukia in Fade to Black.

You know what would have been awesome? If Ichigo and Rukia stayed in Hell and becomes the King and Queen of that wretched place. Ichigo has that power to rule hell after all...

bow to your King and Queen, minions!

Hmm, I should probably stop comparing these two movies. I am biased with Fade to Black for obvious reason which is why I wished Kubo would have had a hand in this movie as well. But alas...

First Impression: Persona 4 The Animation

Just like I am with Fate franchise, I am also a noob when it comes to Persona since I don't play the game and the only Persona I know is the anime that was aired couple of years back: Persona ~ Trinity Soul which I enjoyed a lot. Perhaps that is why I am looking forward to see this one as well, even more so now that everyone else is hyper about it too.

Lets just hope that this show lives up to expectation.

(c) Tadashi Hitoshi

Episode 1 started with the introduction of Igor and Margaret who are in the in-between realm. I dunno who the fuck are they talking to though. Then we get to see our protagonist, Yuu Narukami moving in to his uncle's house in a small village, which mean he has to transfer school as well. Ever since he set his foot in that village, something is happening to him and we all already know what that something is. He is creating a persona of himself.

He quickly makes friends: Chie Satonaka, Yukiko Amagi and Yosuke Hanamura. He takes the first trip to the other world with Chie and Yosuke when they accidentally go inside the TV. In that alternate realm, Yuu is given a spectacle that enables him to see the Shadows. At the most critical time, Yuu awakens his Persona and he just transformed!

that megane changes everything! *faps*
(c) Mikuni

I am not crazy about the animation but there is just something about the character designs that added the realism factor for the story, except for the three tone face everyone is having. What is up with that? Did they only tanned from their chin below? The animation needs to be more consistent in my opinion. It was awful during the time Yosuke buying them dango but was great when they were being chased by the Shadows. I mean, I almost creamed my pantsu heh.

One more thing, I think they need to carefully insert their BGM so that it would not ruin the scene. It happened several times during this episode where I can't focus on what the characters were saying because the BGM was so out of place.

Somehow I feel like this show is forcing something down my throat and I am not comfortable with that. A lot of that has to do with Yosuke's supposedly comedic relief. Having said that, the reason why I want to see this show is because of the story and so far it manages to grab my attention and pique my interest.

Boku, Otaryman (OVA)

Boku, Otaryman is an adaptation of a manga with the same title. The OVA is a 35 minutes episode that was released in Winter 2010.

There are few segments in the episode. Some of them are just something that I have seen and definitely can relate to. The first one is him dealing with the rookie (a female) in his office. I found it hilarious because I know quite a few people who are just like him in real life. They just phailed at communicating without making themselves look like a pervert. The second one is about him having a three day weekend and the only thing he can think of is spending it at home - alone. LOL that's so me. And then there's him with his moe thingy. That reminds me of someone oh gosh T__T

moefag

The story itself is pretty much straight forward. There is nothing complicated about it. It is pretty much about a life story of an ordinary salaryman or to be exact, the life of the author of the manga, Yoshitani. The manga and thus this OVA can be considered as his autobiography. In real life he is working as a system engineer but is a little bit of an otaku as well.

As if to compliment the simple plot, the art and animation too is very minimal but for some reason I love it. It just work for Boku Otaryman. Also, the show stared two very famous seiyuus, Mamoru Miyano and Rie Kugimiya and thanks to them both (Mamoru even more so than Rie), the show is quite lively indeed.

pervert

Maybe because I can relate to this show indirectly that makes this OVA acceptable. It isn't as funny as I thought it would be but thankfully the jokes gradually pick up towards the end. To be honest, this show just reminds me of certain qualities that I hate to see in a man. In a way, I think the slogan fits perfectly and best describes the show: "This is a story of a salaryman who has absolutely no possibilities for dreams, hopes or love". Unless they want to change then it truly is hopeless.

First Impression - Twin Angel: Twinkle Paradise

Looking at the cast, I am pretty sure if anyone is going to watch this show, it's Glo the fucking legend. He has a quest to watch all Rie Kugumiya's anime and J.C. Staff is one of his favorite production studio.

I often has disagreement with him when it comes to Rie. The only character of hers that I like is Kagura from Gintama but that has to do with the series itself for being so fucking epic. I got this feeling that I probably won't be liking this show much if the protagonist (voiced by Rie) turns out to be another tsundere.

Besides, I have watched the Kaitou Tenshi Twin Angel OVA and deemed it as anishit. I expect more or less of the same shit.

And I was right thus I will not bother to watch the rest of the episode. Considered this poop as dropped. Urgh... I can't believe I have wasted 1 minute and 33 seconds of my life on this shit.

Just why, J.C. Staff?

... I feel sorry for Glo.

First Impression: The iDOLM@STER

Like I said in the preview, the only reason I am looking forward to this show is because my favorite animation studio, A-1 Pictures, is producing it. I know that the game hit it big and I understand why they pick this up. I just hope that this is not as bad as I thought it would be though. Girlish anime isn't really my thing.

In the first minute of the show I was a tad confused, thinking who the hell do these girls talked to. All I see if subs of questions asked and then it hit me that this is a show about girls wanna be idol and thus it is as if we, the audience, are the one interviewing the girls about their routine etc. I can't really say that the idea is appealing because I think it's kinda stupid and pretentious.

That's pretty much how the show goes. We get to meet the wanna be idols and see their activities at home or at the 765 Production studio. It appears that these girls are "aware" of us scrutinizing their daily life to become an iDOLM@STER. Some are more forwards while the others are camera shy. Some even play around trying to enter-frame at every chance they got. It may add to the 'realness' of the situation but I still think it is stupid.

Since there are 12 idols plus the producer, etc, I can't keep up with the characters or their names. Some stands out more than the others like the girl with stuffed usagi or the girl who sleeps a lot. The place is a havoc since each and everyone of the idols have different personalities. They don't exactly get along well with each other either. I certainly DO NOT WANT to be in that closed space with any of them. I just might bite their head off for being too annoying.

This is just like watching a reality TV searching for an idol. We had one in Malaysia called Akademi Fantasia who used the same format as this anime showing everything from them eating their meals to practicing their vocals and dance. I hated it too.

Having said that, I have warm up to Makoto. Her personality shines through. Miki seems to be among the most popular one though and I can see why.

The cast for this show is huge, given the nature of the game and the genre itself. Since it is mainly featuring female seiyuus, I am not really familiar with any of them except for Rie Kugimiya who is doing Iori Minase. I guess Glo has a solid reason to watch this show now.

As expected, the idols performed the ED and as expected the song is typical idol song that isn't really my cup of earl grey tea. The dance training is nice though, thanks to the fluidity of the animation.

I am on the fence with this show. It's not bad. It is just terribly boring unless you are into the games, or a nerd who jerks off to these 2D girls as hobby. Thankfully they introduce the producer at the end of the episode. At least it has a male cast now so I won't be feeling too neglected. Maybe I'll end up enjoying this. Maybe I don't. *shrugs*

A-1 Pictures did a splendid job with the adaptation. Though I think the approach is stupid, I have to admit that it's different. Even I was taken for a ride with this documentary way of doing this show. The weakness of this show show is also the selling point of this show: the content (read: iDOLM@STER).

First Impression: Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san

I have been planning on checking this out later but since Glo asked me to do so, I figured I should see what's so great about this show as soon as possible. So here I am writing this mandatory first impression post for future reference.

Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san is about a detective company who used demons/devil to help solve their cases. As you can see, the demons aren't scary looking. In fact they are kinda... cute if that kind of thing is your thing.

Akutabe, the detective in question is also a demon summoner. I like him right away as I do with the rest of the characters. The demons, especially Azazel who specializing in sexual harassment, are funneh. Man, when he screwed up, he fucking screwed up.

This show is only 12 minutes long per episode but it provides you with plenty of shiznit. I love this kind of random shit even though I can do without the stupid OP. This show didn't take itself seriously so as an audience, you are expected to do so as well.

The art at time emphasize how crazy the situation is which in itself is funny. Coupled with great voice acting, it turns out as a masterpiece. I have nothing bad to say about Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san (yet) so I recommend this to everyone who appreciates humor.

There are so many hilarious screencap but that would mean spoilers. It is best if you see this shit for yourself XD

By the way, what kind of sex position is this?
