Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

Nekura Musume to Internet

The reason I picked this one up is easy. This one shot is from the same mangaka that does Yandere Kanojo. If you haven't read Yandere Kanojo yet, well... you sucks because it is one of the funniest shit ever, and very honest in its presentation of feelings which contribute to the funneh. So yeah, what I am trying to say is, read Yandere Kanojo!

This one shot tells the story of Morinaka Iyo, a hikikomori who is addicted to internet and refuse to go to school. Her homeroom teacher, Taiga, however will not let her has her way. Hilarity ensued, just as expected from Shinobi. Shinobi is the mangaka btw, if I haven't mention him yet.

Says he, after breaking the door XD

Being a hikikomori has made Iyo socially inept. She's terrible at face to face communication so she shuts him out. Oh no, Taiga is not giving up on her! It is one way or the other! What did he do? He created a discussion board to share with the public of his predicament. Turn out that it was freaking popular too!

LMAO!

So anyway, like I said, Shinobi has this way of being totally honest that allows you to related with what the characters were talking about. Example?

TTGL reference FTW!

Who can't relate to TTGL right? I thought so.

So.. err yeah. Long story short I enjoyed this one. Though not as much as I enjoy Yandere Kanojo, it is still up to my standard for comedy.

Cecile's Feelings

Cecile's Feelings is another one-shot from the same mangaka that did Baby Cinnamon, Inugami Sukune.

Cecile is a student at a college. One day she met her junior who was interested in going to the same grad school as Cecile. They talked and the sake kept coming and when she awoke the next morning, the junior was besides her in bed, sleeping, naked under the sheet.

Man, why can't shit like this happen to me? Oh yeah that's right... I don't drink. Fuck, reading stuff like this makes me wanna try to be a drinker. But dammit, my resolve is too strong -__-

When the junior woke up, he obviously freaked out. Cecile, being the more matured person in this situation handle it nicely though. Again, just like with Baby Cinnamon, this is like reading a page out of my life book. Not funny.

But then the manga went down the cliche road. The junior apparently has always had a crush on Cecile. O-M-G, get the fuck out already. No one is that lucky!

lucky bitch >=(

The first few pages were okay but then the story went downhill because it was so damn predictable. Too much cliche will kill you.

Baby Cinnamon

This is a one-shot manga from Inugami Sukune. It is about a tsundere editor and a glass wearing mangaka. I am an editor so obviously that is why I picked this one up.

Obviously the mangaka did not realize that the editor has feelings for him because she was always so serious when it comes to work. But that is to be expected. An editor cannot has a relationship with the client. It's work ethics. I have experienced this shit before and has suffered because of it too. Stupid rules. Whoever made this one up must be a total fag.

Anyway, it was the mangaka last submission since his manga got canned. So he submitted his work, went back home to sleep only to get a call from the editor telling him she has lost the manuscript. I was surprised he did not strangle her because I totally would. She was acting all transparent and obvious. Not remembering a single thing? You whore! Why don't you just pull down your pantsu and...

Oh wait, she already did >_>

Damn! I wished I have the guts to do that. Even if I do have the guts, unfortunately I still can't do something like that otherwise I'll be fired. Story of my life... Why do I seek forbidden romance, one after the other?

*sighs*

Anyway, this was surprisingly a very good read. Recommended!

Negaigoto 300000km/s

One of the reason I picked this one up is because it was from the same mangaka, Megumi Kouji, who did Bloody Monday which I read but have to put on hold because life gets too busy for me.

This one is a romantic shounen one-shot, telling the story of two friends who have to part ways because one of them is furthering their study in the city. The manga start with them as a child, making a promise under the full moon. Cliche as fuck.

Meguru is moving away while Taichi wants to quit baseball because things are too busy at the shop (another cliche fact) and be an assistant coach. Yeah, I don't get his logic either but whatever.

Taichi and Meguru has been friends since childhood but keep their feelings for each other a secret until Meguru's last night in that town, and this kiss

Look, I'm not much of a romance fan. My kind of romance deals with blood and knife and badassery but once in a while, to read something mellow like this is pretty nice specially when I need some inspiration for my fanfic. The story is definitely not original but I forgive the mangaka because it wasn't a bad one-shot. It was short and sweet. If it was any longer, I would have dropped it.

Bloody Little Circus

Bloody Little Circus... Pfft! I was cheated. There is nothing bloody about this bloody circus!

This is another one shot manga that I picked up randomly. I shouldn't have though. Luckily it is just only 20 pages long.

It is about a vampire girl name Anna who does not want to suck on people so for her alternative, she sucks on animal but did not kill them. Instead she has them as their servant with cute little wings attached.

One day, a circus came to town. A handsome young man is the leader but Anna is not attracted to him but at the white tiger that she has seen for the first time. So she decides to steal it.

She was caught red-handed but just like any other ring leader, the handsome young man can only see her as a vampire with an ability to juggle. Ka-ching!! That's a pot of gold, I tell ya! Unfortunately he's no match for Anna. WTF.

stupid one-shot is stupid. This was supposed to be a comedy but I failed to read anything that is remotely funny >_>

Ability Shop

I'm bored. Instead of doing my work, I'm reading one shot manga and at the same time try not to get caught doing it. I picked Ability Shop at random since it has the shounen tag on it. (spoilers ahead)

Ability Shop is about an inept boy who can't do anything right. He was bullied by his peers and pressured by the adults. One day as he walked back home from school, he broke a sign of this one peculiar shop. Not knowing that the journey up the stairs would change his life forever, he took one step at a time, trying to apologize and let the owner of know that it was an accident.

The owner, a neko girl however has something else in store for him. You see, this shop sells abilities. The payment is the customer's remaining lifespan. The bigger the abilities, more lifespan will be taken away.

Since he did not believe her, he tried with the ability to study since he has an exam on the next day. The neko girl took out a register and make the sales legal and took 3 years off of his life for that purchase.

He felt giddy with all the praises he received so he went back and kept purchasing one ability after the other. He becomes cocky and depends on the store. He totally lost his shit.

That is of course until the girl of his dream made him realize how far gone he is. Cliche plot FTW? I won't read this if its become a series manga unless they introduce some really hot male protagonist.
