Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

First Impression: Brothers Conflict

I may or may not like this. It is after all about incest. I don't care if they are from different mother/father. As far as I am concern, once you are siblings either by marriage or something else, that is incest. They are incest anime that I can't get enough of like Yasuga no Sora and then there's anime incest that I fucking hate like Aki Sora. So let see where would Brothers Conflict be.

(c) Sayaomu
Err yeah, after watching the episode, I still have no idea what to think about this show. I have expected some brotherly love that goes beyond the blood but when I saw it happening, especially with Kaname, I was grossed out. Then I was trolled with the twincest which made me somewhat mad. The fujoshi in me wants them to be together but we all know that both of the twin will eventually fall for Chii, just like the rest of them brothers.

Fuck. I hate Chii.

Well, maybe not. Maybe I'm just envious of her. I want to stay at a place full of males too. Wait... LOL what am I saying. I have been surrounded by males all my life!

So yeah, I hate her and her pet Juli.

The males are definitely pleasing on the eyes. They picked one hell of a cast for the seiyuus and if there's any reason why I would continue watching this show, it's because of them seiyuus.

Overall, it was okay. I just let my biased opinion gets in the way :P

First Impression: Kyousogiga (2012)

After the one episode ONA, they have decided to do 5 episodes ONA for Kyousogiga. Too bad the release dates for the five episodes are too far apart and is scheduled to end in December. Furthermore, each episode is only 10 minutes long. But nonetheless, it's better than nothing, right?

The first episode pretty much introduced us to Koto's childhood, where she lives and trained by her master, mostly known as Fox. The both of them didn't go by the rules, and shared something in common. Both of them have crimson eyes which in my opinion, hot as fuck, especially if he's a guy. But that aside, something that her master said, made her wants to find her mom, even though as she grew up, she knew that she doesn't exist but pretends that she is anyway.

The two kids from the previous ONA are actually her familiars, A and Un. Now that she's in mirror city Kyoto, she lives with Myoe, the priest that take care of them and so the wackiness continue.

Towards the end of the episode, a gate appeared and looks like Koto is about to go through. We just have to wait another month to see where it leads >_>

My thoughts about the production, seiyuu, and everything else regarding Kyousogiga remain the same. It is still manage to grab my attention and fulfill my desire for something different. Thank you Toei Animation.

First Impression: Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate

Another show that I am more than ready to dismiss. I hope it serves more than just kids eating food in the food club. That would be another K-ON and I think we all have enough K-ON at the moment. I decided to give this one a try because of the arts and the character designs of which I saw in the preview. Like I said, AIC Build better up their games for this one.

Unfortunately they don't. What I see in the preview does not translated to the animated show. There, I am already disappointed.

because in the anime, they censored it. Also because she's the only likeable character for me personally
(c) Akinashi Yuu
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate is about a food club that is going to be disbanded soon since it's not productive at all. They just sit there and eat snacks while having yaoi jokes every so often.  So they decided to run for president of the student council and naturally Yuuki was selected to do the honor. The good thing about this show however, it not just that. It has mysteries to uncover. There are certainly villain in this one who ran over a student who is now pretty much brain dead. The said student gathered some evidence of some shit and obviously the villain doesn't want anyone to find out.

So yeah, wasn't bad for a story, except for them eating all those junk food in the club.

Like I said, I was pretty disappointed with how the arts and animation turned out. I was trolled. The character designs are pretty generic and to be honest, most of the characters annoyed the shit out of me, even Yuuki who is voiced by Yuuichi Nakamura. I wasn't sure whether I dislike them because of their personality, character designs or their voices.

Though I am not dropping this show, I wonder if I will ever sit down and watch it at all. Hmm... who knows. Maybe? Perhaps never?

First Impression: Accel World

I have seen some of the fanarts for this show, and what others have to say about it on Twitter but still, it doesn’t prepare me at all for what the show really is. I was totally lost the first five minutes checking it out.

We have this fat and short male protagonist, Haru, who is naturally weak and get bullied by everyone, and often escaped from reality by joining the virtual world, of which he transformed into a pig. Orz. One day he got a break when the most popular girl offered an application (Brain Burts) which totally shattered his concept of reality. It brings him to Accelerated World, or Accel World in short.

(c) Ekakibito
He is the kind of protagonist that pissed me off. He knows he is weak and cowardly so why the fuck doesn’t he want to change that and actually pushed people who wanted to help him away? I would have smacked people like him in real life so hard just for the fun of it. I mean, they love it, don’t they? That’s why they don’t want to change.

Oh, did I mention that the technology is so advanced they don’t need computer or keyboard or modem. All they need is what seemed to be an electronic neck collar that allows you to connect and use the computer using your eyesight vision. Pretty nifty, right?

Black Swallowtailed Butterfly warned Haru not to on the Global Linker at all after school but he forgot. What happened? He got an upgrade (he’s no longer a pig, but a kin of Green Power Ranger) and an opponent to boot.

I am more interesting to see what happened with his friends that he doubted though and probably the only reason why I would continue watching it.

The story is somewhat unique and the art and animation weren’t bad at all. I can’t say that I enjoyed it though. It is more like the story itself force me to sit through the entire episode because it got me curious. I personally think that’s a good thing. At least it piqued my interest.

First Impression: Zetman

Heh, if you read my preview for this show, you see how mislead I was. Here, lemme quote myself
"For some reason I got excited with Zetman. It probably has something to do with that misleading poster. It looks like a guy carrying another guy in his arms. The fujoshi in me squeals in delight."
So for the sake of argument, let just say that I have quite an "expectation" for this show XD

(c) pixiv id 4062951
And holy shit Zetman totally blew my mind away. I got more than what I expected. There was blood and violence and the fighting sequence makes me wet my pantsu. I love it.

Jin is a Player, an experimental creature used to entertain the higher society. Unfortunately one day these Players gain a mind of their own and rebel. They are at large in the society disguising themselves as human. Jin was brought up by the man who created him so he's more human than all the other creatures, and hence our main protagonist. This episode pretty much a history lesson for us viewers and it was done cleverly and interestingly enough to make me want to see the episode ASAP.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode because of the reasons I have already stated though I am a bit apprehensive with what's going to happen when he's all grown up and met Kouga again. If they end up as enemy, that would be intense.

I'm giving all the compliments that they deserved to the animation studio for job well done with the arts and animation. I was very impressed indeed especially when Jin showed those thugs what he was made of. That was definitely one of the highlight of this episode for me. The other was when Jin being ZET towards the end of the episode.

I guess the creativity part comes from the manga itself.

I have nothing but good words to say about this show. A very good first impression indeed. I'm sorry that I didn't check this show earlier.

First Impression: Daily Lives of High School Boys

Episodes: 12
Producers: Sunrise, Square Enix
Genres: Comedy, School, Slice of Life, Shounen

Besides Another, Daily Lives of High School Boys or Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou is the other Winter season anime that I have high hopes for for the simple reason that Tomokazu Sugita is cast for one of it's main protagonist. I am a big fan of him and he is the reason why I become a seiyuu fag so naturally I will watch anything that has him as one of the casts, no matter how small his role may be. The only recent show that he did/do is SKET Dance which he played the big role of making it such an enjoyable show for me.

So needless to say, I am super stoke to check this show out. I have a feeling that Sugita will be just as awesome as he usually is sprouting random shits that only his character can think of. Aight boys, without further ado, lets dig in =3

(c) Asuda

Less than a minute in, I knew I was right about this show; boys who ran holding bowl of soup on the way to school and met with robots flying down from the sky attacking their town. If that is not random, I don't know what is. Why? Because this is not a mecha anime. This show is categorized in slice of life genre and in our real life, there are no giants robot invading the earth. And random is always good in my book. Plus this show is directed by the same guy who did Gintama. If you didn't know how I feel about Gintama yet, you are retarded.

Danshiko (that's what this show is called in anime fandom) is a tale of three boys; Tadakuni, Hidenori Tabata and Yoshitake Tanaka who are friends and attending the same highschool. Just like Kimi to Boku, they have the serious boy and the other two who will do anything in their ability to annoy the living hell of the serious boy, in this case Tadakuni. But it wasn't always about that. We are going to witness their daily lives routines and the people they acquainted and interact with as well which added to the fun.

There are several segments in one episode that cover different topic which tickled my funny bones. I personally laughed my ass off during the skirt segments. I knew boys who actually did that, especially when there was a gullible boy around. Tadakuni fits that description to a T. These segments are even funnier because almost each of it was triggered or initiated by Hidenori. The segment of Hidenori and literary girl at the river bank was awesome too. It's quite a turning point for me personally to be honest because I realized that I found a replacement for Kyon and he even wears a megane. A crossover of Kyon and Gintoki is just the perfect man, if you know what I mean.

Some people might questioned that this is not what boys normally do in their daily lives, but I assured you that for someone who grew up around boys and is still surrounded by boys in daily life, boys really did do all these meaningless stuffs and talk about useless stuffs. That is what make them so fun to be around. Girls on the other hands are boring. They pretty much talked about cute boys and the latest fashion and being bitchy about everything. What's fun about that? For example when Yoshitake voiced his concern about the hair on his nipples, isn't that real as fuck?

what I said

Needless to say, I will probably force this one down everyone's throat. So beware. I'm maximizing my virgin power for the sake of Danshiko!

Kyousogiga

Type: ONA
Episodes: 1
Producers: Toei Animation
Genres: Supernatural

I was impressed when I first saw Kyousogiga in the preview. My initial thought was that this might turned out as a twisted version of Alice in Wonderland. It has to do with the whole art on that poster. It promised me something that is unconventional and somewhat gave me hope that the animation would be flawless. So yeah, good luck Toei Animation. Let see if you can meet my expectation...

Well... it is definitely not Alice in Wonderland other than the part that she wants to go home and there's somewhat rabbit involved. Kyousogiga just pretty much thrown you into a wacky world where the characters fight with giant balloon hammer and stopped car with their legs. The enemies were naught but a poorly drawn character that were all white and yet you can tell that they were from the mafia or something. These fights were observed by some higher up and they kept communicating (more like yelling) with the characters through out the fight. All these happened without them bothering to introduce us to any of the characters. It's either you keep up or fuck off.

That's the beauty of this show. It doesn't try to please the audience. It just pretty much do whatever the fuck it wants. Who the hell cares if it makes little sense to anyone else?

I finally get the gist of things towards the end. I am writing this for my own personal purpose so I won't forget the details. Beware spoilers in this paragraph. Read at your own risk; Kyusogiga took place at a mirror Kyoto town. Koto, the female kid protagonist is somewhat connected to the Lady Koto, the rabbit that everyone is looking for. She, her brother, A and Un, live with Myoe. He and his other two siblings created a congregation of the three to bring Lady Koto back. At the end, they wanted to annihilate - or seemingly looks like it - Koto but Myoe disagree and they fought. When all hope seemed lost, Lady Koto appeared and suddenly everyone lives happily ever after. /spoiler.

I fall in love with the characters for a show that only last for 25 minutes but then again, I always like characters that defy anything conventional or of the norm and these characters definitely fit the bill. Koto is loud and for once they actually made a character acted her age. I love it when at the end she was crying her eyes out because her first kiss was stolen by another girl. The twin (I assumed they are), are just so much fun even with the quieter Un. You can see that A looked up to Koto by he way he behave and act. Then there's Myoe, a fucking hot bishie of a monk who doesn't really goes by the rules. I found myself wiping my drools a few time looking at him. The other cast of supporting characters completed the show even though we basically have no clue what are their purpose etc. For example, who is Inari?

I don't usually pay any attention to the OP or ED unless they really are something that match my personal taste so forgive me if I said that they are pretty unmemorable. I'm writing this after 10 minutes of watching the show and I already forget what it sounds like. It didn't leave any impact for my taste bud and thus I leave the review for the OP and ED to the expert. What I want to highlight however is the fact that the cast of seiyuu really did a good job bringing their characters personality to life. I don't think I would have a bOnar for Myoe if it wasn't for the right sound of voice that comes out of his animated mouth. Kenichi Suzumura sounded so smexy in this one *faps*. I am not a fan of Rie Kugimiya mainly because she played too many tsundere characters. I am glad that it wasn't the case for Koto though and thus, I'm going to compliment her for this show as well. Not one character sounds obnoxious, not even the demon Yase who kinda have a bipolar personality.

The animation didn't disappoint me at all. I get what I asked for. It was something that we didn't see often in anime and I appreciate stuff like this. In a glance, it reminds me of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann with it's over the top sequence of everything. Well, I should expect this right? After all, this ONA is produced by the same studios that brought us Mononoke and Lovely Complex. I can't complain about the art either. After all, I was impressed with a simple poster and they delivered what they promised. The character designs got me drooling and the whole background just fits nicely with the random wackiness that this show provides.

If I have to describe Kyousogiga, I will say that it is like a cross between Gintama and Yozakura no Quartet with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann in the middle. Doesn't make sense, does it now? Exactly. I keep wondering what the hell am I watching and yet I found it so very entertaining.

Digest that!

I wish they made a TV series out of this one. So yeah. Watch this if you need a (good) mind fuck. That's all I have to say.

Hiyokoi

Since I already have this show in my hard disk, I might as well watch it even though shoujo is something that I usually avoid. I was sighing for the first couple of minutes because the female protagonist was already getting on my nerves.

*takes a deep breath*

Lets just get this done and over with, shall we?

wait... who is that other guy? O_o

There is nothing unusual about the story. In fact, it is a bit too cliche for my taste. Hiyori Nishiyama went back to school after a year in the hospital. She's timid and very shy, qualities that I despise in anime character especially if they are girls. Guys will find this kind of girls cute and that just annoys the fuck out of me even more. She is also short and unlike Rukia, she is just bad at handling the pressure. By the way, she got into the hospital because she got hit by a truck and broke all the bones in her body. Damn she should just die.

In the middle of introducing herself, she was interrupted by Yuushin Hirose, the male protagonist who unlike Hiyori, is the kind of character that I have a soft spot for. He got blue hair (although not as vibrant as Grimmjow's and that scarf around his neck reminds me of Kaito) and a personality of an asshole (which I just love lol ^__^). In short, he is the complete opposite of Hiyori.

The story makes their difference in height as one of the main focuses to start that inevitable romance. It is something that I have seen (and even loved) in Lovely Complex. They even tried making it just as funny but the jokes just fall flat in my opinion. The opposite attraction thingy also does not work at all. They said when two people are completely different, they compliment each other. I beg to differ. It just emphasized what the other is lacking. I've been there, so trust me on this one. The effort you put in just going to make you tired of it. Or maybe it just me *shrugs*

Either way, half way through the episode, I have taken three breaks. 11 minutes seems like hours of torture.

The conclusion of this show is obvious. Everyone, even in real life, would have fall for Yuushin because he is fucking awesome so naturally even Hiyori fell for his charm after only one day. She just have to up her moe to ensure that Yuushin will be trapped for the rest of his life as well. She even showed everyone her pantsu. When she did it, everyone was like "She's so cute!" when in fact she was using dirty tactic. Then of course she had to use that crying card of her to gain sympathy. What a sly slut. (Obviously this is my version of the story).

dreamy =3

The only good thing about this show is Kenichi Suzumura who I am biased for since he did Lavi and Mikiya. I'm sorry Ayana but your character is hateful and part of it I believe is your fault because you are the one who brought her to life. As for the arts & animation, average is the word that came to mind. It wasn't bad, though it wasn't good either. If I didn't do my homework, I won't have any idea that this one is produced by Production I.G.

So like I said, shoujo is not my thing and my review reflects my feelings exactly. I don't want to be biased but I just can't help it I guess. My fault is going in with cynicism but that's how I usually feel when it comes to love.

Love, in my opinion, shouldn't be taken lightly.

Anyhoo, if there's a TV series for this show, I will avoid it completely.

Oh fuck. I was ready to hate this show when I saw that one of the character has Tomokazu Sugita as it's seiyuu. Not only him, but it looks like almost all my favorite male seiyuu is in this show. Damn... I might just changed my mind about this show. This better be good and funny otherwise I would have to slit my wrist. This is like Miracle Train all over again.

(c) kawagishi keitarou

I swear that watching this show is like watching Ikkitousen to a certain extend. They even have almost the same kind of characters for the show. I am honestly just lost for words. I mean... Ikkitousen is in my most hated anime list, so I don't see how this show would be any different when the setup is so damn similar. Jeebus, can't they do something original anymore? At least changed the character design! I see Ryoumou Shimei and Kan'u Unchou on the get go. If that's not weird enough, we even have that old fuck Yamaji making a cameo. WTF?

That's when I know I shouldn't be taking this show seriously. They just have so many cameo I have lost track.

This show is random. It reminds me of Baka to Test to Shoukanjii in a way. I can't even find words to explain what the episode is all about. You just have to see it for yourself. And guess what? I did have fun watching this shit. On to episode 2 then.

First Impression: Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%

The second anime produced by A-1 Pictures for this season. Naturally I feel oblige to watch this show just for that reason alone, though I must admit that I'm not looking forward to the story itself. I think the studio can do much better than this. I hope the bishies are fappable enough to make up for what it's lacking. Pfft, who am I kidding. There will be BL in this show! I demand it!

What klux-sama wants, klux-sama gets!
(c) Porry

I expect a lot of things but I didn't expect a show about J-Pop idols. I should have but it just doesn't cross my mind. Since I'm not a fan of J-Pop (only J-Rock) and is much more familiar with the K-Pop, I found this show extremely hilarious. It's like watching behind the scene shiznit about the groups, which quite frankly I don't mind at all. Watching them perform on stage with groovy dance moves like that, and fans chanting... yup definitely K-Pop idols. 2PM perhaps? They definitely fits the bill. lol they should used their song for this show instead of the first ED of Ao no Exorcist.

These six idols are students at Saotome Academy, the most prestige performing arts school in the country. There they met this lucky bitch named Haruka who is the subject of their affection for some reason that's lost to me. Who gives a fuck about her anyway?

Since A-1 Pictures produced this, I know I won't be disappointed with the characters. They are known for beautiful, pretty and hot characters and for a harem show, they definitely make the characters desirable. I certainly want them boys to be in my pantsu so naturally that warrants me to be jealous of Haruka who by the way, looks a bit off with that pupil of hers. She reminds me of Paprika but in term of personality and likeability, she is the tasteless gum at the bottom of Paprika's shoes.

Meet my new fappable characters
(c) kanzaki8

The story itself reminds me a little bit of La Corda D'oro Prima Passo and Miracle Train. It is predictable from the get go but I convinced myself that I'm not watching this for the cliche story line but for the characters and possibility of BL. To be honest, I tuned out the part that has Haruka and only focus on the boys. I am so used with yaoi that doing that is a cinch which mean I am enjoying this one more than I should have.

In order words, I am disappointed at how bad the story is. Not to mention that aside from the character, the animation and arts are definitely below the usual par that A-1 Pictures set for his anime. It's like this show has the lowest budget in all of their anime. Well, can't blame them really. I won't spend so much on shit like this too.

Oh well. I'm being honest here. I am gonna watch this because of the bishie characters as well as the seiyuu. If those aren't your thing, best to stir clear from this show.

Watch at your own risk.

Kara no Kyoukai Epilogue

Naturally, I was really looking forward to this OVA because of my love for the all seven movies of Kara no Kyoukai. Truth be told, I have no idea what Epilogue is all about but that's what so exciting about it: the unknown. I trust ufotable to bring me joy with this OVA, just like they did so many times before with the previous movies.

My heart is beating so fast right now in anticipation. I have missed Mikiya and Shiki badly since the Boukyaku Rokuon.

(c) moca

The scene in Epilogue would be very familiar if you have seen all Kara no Kyoukai movies starting with Mikiya walking up the hill in a snowy day to see (the other side of) Shiki by the side of the hill looking down at the snow covered town below. It was heart warming for me personally but I have always been so biased when it comes to this show.

The both of them had a pretty deep conversation about Shiki in particular, of the Shiki that is in the middle of SHIKI and Shiki. I dunno if this made sense to anyone who have no fucking clue about the story but that's how it goes. So Chester, go watch the movies before you complained about it. They also talked about personalities. Shiki presented some very interesting views about them. Her analogy: she's a box and without Shiki as a software, she would just sit there not living. It was pretty deep and cool stuff. It allows Mikiya to learn of Shiki true self, that the soul came later and Shiki Ryogi is nothingness. Because it was a void, it tendency was to hope for death of all things.

Shiki gave Mikiya a chance to ask and wish for anything but my Mikiya declined the offer. He could have asked her to return his left eye back to normal but he didn't. I love the fact that he's still so understanding of the real Shiki. It made me believe in love. It sound cliche as fuck but every time I watch Kara no Kyoukai, I really feel like I want to fall in love and be content with it. That's why this movie has inspired so many of my stories before.

Towards the end, she said something that hit me straight in the face: about Mikiya being lonely. That got me thinking real hard. Even though my personality is the opposite of Mikiya, we have both chose to live our life by picking the most lonely path out there, even though it might not seems so. I'm not gonna lie, that kinda scared the bejeebus out of me =|

Then again, Kara no Kyoukai always managed to do that to me.

As usual, the story is moving on at it own slow pace. No action and lots of talking. Might not be my favorite but it presents a good deal of a better understanding of Shiki as a person. Insignificantly, it also slightly touched the topic of romance between Shiki and Mikiya. It was done subtly which is brilliant in my opinion. Blatant shit can only goes so far.

ufotable still did a good job with the arts and animation of this OVA. Nothing was spared. I love all the details and the camera angles that were used throughout the OVA. That was some serious shit. Kenichi and Maaya were brilliant as always. Both managed to hold tightly to what makes these two characters so endearing to the viewers. The BGM was exceptional, it only heightens the good experience of watching this OVA. Too bad that it is only 30 minutes in length. I obviously want more.

This OVA is not recommended to anyone who hasn't watch the movies first because you'll find the facts extremely boring and lengthy. To those who love the series, this one is a must see. Epilogue made my weekend :)

Reverse harem? Why not just total BL instead? If it was, I would be the first to raise my hands and claim this as my favorite even before I've seen the episodes. As it is, this is still targeted for the female audience. I doubt many males would want to see some bunch of guys chasing the the only female in school.

The start was weak as fuck. We got the protagonist reminiscing as he looked at the sky and queue flashback. When he was a child, he met a girl who he spent time with doing nothing but staring at the night sky. Boring stuff especially when I know what to expect for the entire show in less than 10 minutes into the episode. That is definitely not good. I already know that the protagonist will do whatever it takes to meet the same girl that he fell for when he was a kid and it just so happened the same gal is going to the same school that he is transferring to. Cliche as fuck.

(If you feel like all these setups looks familiar, that's because it is: La Corda D'Oro ~primo passo~)

Well, this is a show full of bishies so I can't complain much when it comes to character designs even though they all look like your typical bishounen. So I guess I had to complain about that. I just wish they paid more intention to details and the animation was really terrible. It's like they don't even bother trying. Fuck you Studio DEEN. Not when you have a whole bunch of bishounen at your disposal.

I usually channel my hatred to the subject of reverse harem but not in this case. At least not yet. I am actually disappointed with Kenichi Suzumura's performance in this show. It was as weak as the fucking show itself. It is hard for me to dislike a bishounen but yes I dislike Tomoe the moment he opened his mouth. HOWEVER! I didn't expect to hear Sugita Tomokazu in this one. Or Jun Fukuyama or Yuuichi Nakamura or Mamoru Miyano or Junichi Suwabe or Kamiya Hiroshi. Fuck, now I feel like I'm obligated to watch this shit just like with Miracle Train, which I have yet to complete.

The good news is, each episode is only 12 minutes long. That will save you from permanent brain injury. There's only one way for me to watch this shit. That is if Tomoe Yoh sucks my imaginary dick. Better yet, why not the whole bunch of bishounen do just that. Then maybe I might actually enjoy this piece of shit.

oh fuck yes! :D

Having said that, I am really looking forward for all the potential yaoi/BL fanarts >:3

First Impression: Kaichou wa Maid-sama

I won't normally watch something like this but I promised myself that I'll check this out and form my opinion after I've watched it. Who knows that I might like it just like I did with Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou.

The story: Misaki is the bossy president of the student council. She is freaking poor. Ends up working as a maid waitress at a restaurant which forces her to become meek. She tried to keep it a secret from her school mate but Usui Takumi, the hottest guy in school (FUCKING CLICHE!!) saw her. She worried that he will tell the whole school about it, not knowing that Usui has taken an interest. Of course she'll pretend like she didn't notice it. Slut.

I seriously want to puke.

But Usui is kinda cute.

Dammit!

Why is it so damn predictable?!

Mobile Gundam SEED Destiny

I was just done crying.

No, I did not get my heart broken again.

Although in a way it might be…

Actually I was just done watching Gundam Seed Destiny (thank you FireDagger!)

I watched Mobile Suit Gundam but not really a fan of the series because at that time the characters weren’t as good looking as the Seed’s characters. Those who are close to me might have heard me mentioning my devotion to Athrun couple of years back. I can’t stop talking about him then. As years gone by, I thought I had grown out of it. Apparently I am not.

My devotion for him is actually doubled if not tripled.

Besides, this time around I am connected to the other characters as well. I might adore Shinn Asuka as much as I adore Athrun Zala. My heart also goes out for Lunamaria Hawke and Rey Za Burrel although Rey sometimes really ticked me off and tried my patience especially when he rallied Shinn against Athrun.

Athrun and Shinn are very similar in a way that both have a painful pass. Both of their parent/family died because of the war. Shinn is very much like Athrun in Gundam Seed. He’s Athrun’s younger version in Gundam Seed Destiny. The only different is their personalities.

I can understand why Shinn was so obsessed to defeat Orb. He was repeatedly betrayed by them although it was all a misunderstanding. Probably that is why I can relate to his character so well. I understand how it felt to be betrayed by the person you trust the most. You might lose all sense of justice if you are not careful and let the hatred consume you. That was what happened to Shinn. He fought for the sake of a peaceful world but at the same time he wanted to seek revenged for those he had lost. He was so damned confused most of the time. He needed people like Luna (or Athrun earlier on) to make he comes to his senses but Ray always managed to lured him back to confusion. I don’t blame Ray, he was used himself. Please note this though: however confused he is, he is so damn good when he is in Impulse/Destiny and fighting the enemy. He is way cooler than Athrun or Kira in that sense. Call him whatever you want, to me he is sincere and that is the most appealing thing about him.

Speaking of Ray and Luna… The three of them (including Shinn) in my opinion were mercifully used by Durandal to achieve his plan. They were deceived by Durandal who I must say a sweet-talker (because Athrun and I was deceived too!) to fight for him in order to create a world where all human’s DNA are predetermined so no war will break out in the future. His idea might be noble since it is to build a world that is peaceful, but he wants to play God and altered the characteristic of human being which is plain wrong. Captain Talia Gladis and the crew of Minerva were deceived too but as a soldier of war they have no choice but to follow orders. I must say that I respect every single one of the crew members that were on board of that Minerva.

Let’s get back to Athrun. What can I say except that this guy is so damn marvelous! He is a good friend, an excellent GUNDAM fighter, an awesome captain and a very considerate person. The only thing that I wish I could change about him is the fact that he likes Cagalli. No offense but Cagalli is just plain boring. However I do understand why there was chemistry between them. It was Cagalli who always steered him back to the right path in Gundam Seed. Thank God there is no romance between him and Cagalli in these episodes of Destiny (except when he leaved Cagalli to joined ZAFT). Hmm, I wonder what kind of relationship they will have after the war with Durandal end. Cagalli didn’t wear the ring Athrun gave her before he set off to war so that is a good sign… Heh, by now you might have notice the real reason why I dislike Cagalli right? It was because of pure jealousy. Hahaha!

Athrun bears the world problems on his shoulder and tries with his might to find the truth and fight for what he believes in. He does not take command for the sake of it and always trying to protect the people that he cared about even if they are on the opposite site.

Unlike Kira Yamoto.

Gundam lovers might have problem with the fact that I actually not a fan of Kira. He is the other hero of Gundam Seed, alongside Athrun, isn’t he?

I just think he is too virtuous and self-righteous not to mention a very selfish person. Some might argue that he is the best GUNDAM fighter but I think Shinn have surpassed him in that area. He always picked a fight with Athrun if they are not on the same page and never bother to listen to what Athrun had to explain which then make a certain situation worst. Let’s not forget the fact that he killed Nicol and then snatched away Lax, Athrun’s fiancé. Grr, I simply can not respect someone who would do such a thing to his best friend.

But Athrun is too good a friend and a person. That’s why he can forgive Kira for what he had done. Nice kan?

I am writing this because I am still got hang over from the Gundam dose. I am not satisfied with the way the Destiny ends. I want to know what happen to the characters although it is obvious that Orb will rule the world. I want to know with whom Athrun ends up with (hopefully not Cagalli) and how his life would be after the war. I also want to know if Shinn will ever recover from his painful pass and whether or not Luna can steer him to the right path. In fact I want to know everything! Am I greedy? Perhaps I am but you will too if you watch the series so do not pass any unnecessary judgment :oP

I must say, besides Bleach, this is the most intense anime I had watched so far even surpassing the first series of Gundam Seed. From the first episodes to it last, it was like riding a rollercoaster. This is the second anime (next to Bleach) that manage to make me cry. Now, with pride, I confessed that I am officially a Gundam freak. That is why it deserved a review.

Before I end this review, I need to mention how handsome and adorable Athrun and Shinn are (okay Kira too if you must)!! Memang tak boleh handle specially with Shinn’s red eyes. He is so damn good-looking! I am in love…
