Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

Diary of a tard: Week 2, June 2011

Monday, June 6

Gintama episode 149: continuation from the kidnapping arc. Hijikata and Okita has no hope left so Okita kills himself in order for Hijikata to escape and save the Shinsengumi. LOL Why do I feel like I'm being trolled? because this is Gintama. Of course Okita won't kill himself. He only pretended that he did. In fact this whole mess is his plan. LOL evil Okita is evil ♥

Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san episode 9: Akutabe is suspicious about Sakuma lately. She has been acting strange so Akutabe releases Beelzebub from his barrier and guess what? He's one good looking motherfucker. Well not really but wants to believe that he is. So they stalk Sakuma (Azazel-san wearing a dog suit) and see her going to some anime club. She has to cosplay and that's why she is looking so down. She has to return their favor by borrowing lecturer's notes. Turns out she becomes addicted to it. Nyorin~ LOL this does not sits well with Akutabe at all.

With each passing episodes, I get madder at Jintan and Menma. Ano Hana episode 8.

Tuesday, June 7

More ghoul demon and Snipe in episode 8 of Ao no Exorcist.

Thursday, June 9

This is pathetic. I have almost nothing to do and yet I have been neglecting my anime. Oh well, another predictable chapter for Bleach 451.

Friday, June 10

Not feeling too well. I'm kinda overdosed right now. Took half a bottle of pain killers. Instead of suicidal, it making me depressed so I'm watching Gintama episode 150: Another trolling episode saying that this is the final episode of Gintama. LOL I don't see any other anime that talks about quitting every chance they got. For the (supposedly) finale, it feels like I was watching Endless Eight, only that the awesomeness level is >9000!

cuteness overload!

Saturday, June 11

This is one of the show that I don't want to fall behind. Watching episode 8 of The World God Only Knows II. Keima decides to teach Elsie about games and he's fucking serious about it. In doing so, we also got to learn the history of dating sims game and how everything started. That's the first half of the episode, the second half, Haqua comes asking them to help out with her report. That is just an excuse. She just wants to meet Keima is all.

oh how naive of you, Elsie >=D

Bleach: Chapter 451

Because of what happened in the last chapter, Ichigo sort of panicky. It is totally understandable though since he lost his sight without warning. Unlike us who knows that Inoue will put everything back the way they are after the training is over, Ichigo must feel like this is unfair, that he has to stay blind for the rest of his life just because Ginjou decides that he needs to sharpen his senses. If it is Urahara, I believe he would have used other options.

he's still good looking though

If I don't like Ginjou before, I am on the verge of hating him now. He is acting all high and mighty, not to mention a tad crazy too as he provokes Ichigo. I understand that he is doing this for Ichigo's sake but still, hurting my protagonist like that is not good. But at least now he makes me root for Ichigo again. When was the last time I did that?

Inoue tries to help but of course Ginjou wouldn't let her. Kubo makes it seems like they are betraying Ichigo at the moment but meh he is so predictable nowadays. In less than two chapters I am sure Ginjou would be at Ichigo's mercy instead.

But at least for this chapter, Ginjou will have it his way. Ichigo has it bad. Not only he is blinded, he has become the pin cushion for Ginjou's sword. Since Ichigo is so useless, he even used the "I'll kill Inoue and Chad" too card. Jeebus, talk about cliche.

I can't help but wanting to pat Ichigo's hair now though since he is so naive. He is so determine in protecting the people around him that he lost sight of logic and realism. If he does, he would know that Ginjou is bluffing. He might hurt them the way he hurts him but he won't kill them. I actually looking forward to the part of seeing him torturing Inoue and Chad. That would make my day. In fact, I would be very happy if he goes through with his words and really kill these two useless characters. It's about time for them to disappear. Tatsuki and Keigo can take their places and they would be a better for the story as a whole.

But we know that won't happen because Kubo sucks dick. As I said earlier, right when Ginjou threatens to hurt his friends, Ichigo miraculously begin to grasp reiatsu, seeing them or rather sensing them with his blind eyes. He immediately gets another plotkai power up.

I can't be mad at you, Ichigo *sighs*

I really do hope that he beats Ginjou to pulps and only let him explains his method of training after that, as he begs for his life. But no, Ichigo won't do that. He's too good a kid to harm someone like that.

We won't get to see Ichigo beating the life out of Ginjou because apparently his full bring is now completed. With that he got a new outfit, a shikakusho with stripes that reminds me of his hollow powers. And thus his training ends and he is officially one of the Xcutioners now.

I don't like how the chapter ends but I am not gonna rant. Not now at least. Provoke me and I will.

Anime: Summer 2011

Surprisingly, I am catching up with anime from Spring season. Well, anime that matters to me anyway which is around 10 shows. That's a lot considering how fucking busy I am whats with life and work raping me alternately in the butt. So I hope that things will go as smoothly if not better for the Summer season.

Thanks to cowbowbibimbop, we have another chart for the summer (what would we do without him). Let's dig in the goodies (I hope there are enough of them to make me jizz in my pantsu).

I am gonna divide the anime to several categories to make it easy for myself. I'm gonna start with shows that I am gonna watch (read: definitely maybe) for the summer:

  • Just that noitaminA tag is enough to convince me. Not to mention that the protagonists for No.6 both looks like Allen Walker and Kanda Yuu respectively. They even have somehow similar story.
  • Blood-C is some sort of sequel for Blood+ and Blood: The Last Vampire. This should be good. Anything with blood and gore is a must watch. I'm not sure about the whole look of the animation though but this is a project by Production I.G. I shouldn't worry too much.
  • Usagi Drop is another anime produced by Production I.G. I have once read the manga though never got the chance to complete it. This one should be a heart-warming story for the summer, much like Ano Hana is for the Spring. Besides, it will be featured in noitaminA.
  • Even though I am a huge fan of A1-Pictures, I just have to ask them why... why did they decided to do The iDOLM@ASTER though I probably already knew the answer to that. One, the game is extremely popular and I'm sure lots of nerds out there just can't wait for this anime to come out. Two, the game has it own set of avid follower so an anime adaptation is just the right step to take, though I wish some other studio should have picked it up. Three... well, I can't think of any at the moment.
  • I don't think an explanation is needed for Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Second Ni! I won't missed it for the world.

Shows that have the potential to be dropped if it turns out average/cliche after the first impression post:

  • Just because of the hype. They postponed Appleseed XIII which was supposed to be released during the Spring season. Perhaps it has something to do with the Japan earthquake but either way, I am still not excited for this one. Production I.G. is teaming up with Jinni's Animation Studios for this one. Never heard of the latter though.
  • Another Marvel adaptation by Madhouse. This time they are butchering doing Blade. I can't say that I am familiar with this one. Goes to show how big of a fan I am with American comics, huh?
  • I am slightly confused with the synopsis for Kamisama Doll. I am just about ready to write this one of when I saw Kishi Seiji is directing this. If it's anything like Angel Beats! then it has potential but then... Uezu Makoto is the one writing this. My excitement is kinda crushed.
  • Oscar better not be a lolicon is all I'm saying for Ikoku Meiro no Croisée because that would fucking ruin a potentially good story.
  • Urgh, crossdressing guy who is maid? I don't think so but Kana Hanazawa is one of the seiyuu for Mayo Chiki! so I have to check this out of my obligation as a seiyuu fag.
  • Itsuka Tenma no Kuro-Usagi story is pretty weak. Unless the protagonist has something else to offer, I doubt I will see the rest of the episode. But it does hired some very reliable seiyuu. Hmmm...
  • I was more than ready to write R-15 off when I see that this might have the potential of BL/yaoi. I'm gonna stick around and see if I might be right about it, if the picture from the preview didn't fool me. This one either has the potential to be like Seitokai Yakuindomo or shitty shit like Rio! Rainbow Gate.
  • Anime that has something to do with library and demon. Sounds like Dantalian no Shoka is my kind of anime.
  • Again, I just can't help but does a facepalm when I saw who produced Uta no Prince-sama. I know that it would be full of bishie but just by looking at the story line, I already feel like choking the female protagonist to death. Not a good sign but I am afraid that I will still watch this one despite of.
  • GONZO has returns with Nyanpire the Animation. This has potential to be funneh.
  • I have a feeling that I will drop Ro-Kyu-Bu! after the first episode. It all depends on her Kana Hanazawa character.
  • Sacred Seven reminds me of Star Driver for whatever reasons. I hope it will be as good if not better. But I see some female characters with giga drill breaker hair. That is not a good sign at all.
  • I'm not sure about Kami-sama no Memo-chou. J.C. Staff usually disappoint me with this kind of anime.
  • Nekogami Yaoyorozu can either go totally shit or manageable. I got a feeling that Mayu will be one hell of a tsundere cat god.

Shit shows:
  • Have you read the synopsis of Yuruyuri? K-ON rip-off and you should have known already what I think about that show. Further more this show is made by some unknown studio that I have never heard of.
  • The girls are supposed to be in highschool so do they look like 10 years old? Kaitou Tenshi Twin Angel looks like a kid show. Not something I look forward to. Sorry J.C. Staff. As expected, Rie Kugumiya is in it, possibly another tsundere character >_>
  • Who wanna watch a show where the protagonist doesn't say much? Not to mention that the art-style of Morita-san wa Mukuchi seems old.
  • Nothing much is known about Double J but I don't think I want to watch another anime about "life in a high school full of cute girls".
  • The most obvious ecchi anime of the season must go to Manyuu Hikenchou if the blatant obsession with breasts is any indication. Jeebus, I shudder thinking of how much shitness this one will turn out to be.

Shows that I want to watch but in order to do so I have to finish the first season first. Gah, why so many sequel? Where is my Working!! and Hyakko sequel?!

  • Natsume Yuujinchou San
  • Nurarihyon no Mago Second Season
  • Tantei Opera Milky Home Special (I don't know why did I even bother)

Anime that we might not get to see because no one wants to sub them:

  • Inumarudashi since it looks like a less than 15 minutes show for kids and when I say kids, I mean small innocent children, not the kind of kindergarten kids who speak of sexual innuendos.
  • The director for Mawaru Penguindrum is the same one that did Revolutionary Girl Utena, much hype anime. Promising but like I said, will anyone sub this? I doubt it.

My thoughts on OVA, ONA, OAD and Specials that matter to me:

  • Black Lagoon Roberta's Blood Trail because I am collecting them.
  • A-1 Pictures is producing them so I'm gonna watch Valkyria Chronicles 3: Ta ga Tame no Juusou.
  • Hakuoki Hekketsu-roku because I'm following it.
  • I don't need a reason why I should be excited for Ao no Exorcist. It's pretty self-explanatory.
  • I feel obligated to check out Appleseed XII.
  • I wish someone picks up Katte no Kaizou and subs it. This one is produced by SHAFT so there's potential there. I can only find the raw files of the last two OVAs :(
  • Albeit I am a tad behind on Fairy Tail: Yousei Gakuen, I am still 90% into it.
  • Yurumates Huh? since I like the previous one.
  • Nichijou just because.
  • w00t for Hellsing Ultimate. 2 more episodes to go!
  • I think VitaminX Addiction is the only yaoi show of the season. Must watch. Obviously.

As for the films, I am still awaiting news on Bleach's 4th movie but I guess that's for Winter. That doesn't mean there's nothing good in store for us:

  • Sengoku Basara: The Last Party despite the fact that I'm behind the episodes.
  • Tawa no Quon is some sort of similar to Kara no Kyoukai project. This is the first of the 6th films. I saw blood and thus I'm sold.
  • The latest movie by Ghibli is Kokuriko-Zaka Kara. This ought to be the most talk about movie when it is released.

And with that, I conclude this summer preview of mine. There's not much anime that got me excited for the upcoming season but at least Ao no Exorcist and Gintama is still running. The good thing is though, compared to the last season, we have less perverted anime this time around, or maybe I was horribly deceived by the given synopsis.

I am also a tad disappointed that I don't see Tomokazu Sugita's name anywhere. Oh well.

So what is your pick for the summer? Have you decided on anything yet?

Ao no Exorcist: Episode 8

Izumi is having nightmare about what happened last time. I would break in cold sweat too if that ghoul demon appeared in my sleepy head. But yeah I guess we are not done with Izumi and her superiority complex yet. Also looks like now she has crush on Rin too. Tsundere much?

but then again, who wouldn't want to get in his pantsu

Izumi lost focus in class since Paku really did left the cram school after she got better. We get to see some background story as to why Izumi wants to be an exorcist, a little pieces here and there. I wonder when the puzzle will be completed?

She even picked fight with Suguro in class, being a stuck up bitch that she is. In turn, the whole class get punished by Yukio since this episode theme for the camp is unity.

Speaking of unity, aren't they supposed to get to know ALL of their classmate first?

Since Yukio has a mission, he has to leave them for three hours. This is a good opportunity to see how they corporate with one another.

While he's gone, the ghoul is back and starts attacking the kids. Of course it's miasma does not has any effect on Rin and since he knew that it is after him, he lures it away from them, but only one of them. Suguro and the others fight the other one with Aria's chant. Thank goodness Suguro is great at memorizing. But Izumi still has to be the whiny bitch even at a time of dire danger. It takes Shiemi to knock some sense into her so she eventually be able to be some sort of help.

Rin has it tough though but at least Snipe shows up. As expected, he does not like Rin for the fact that he is the Satan's son. I guess it's the exorcist's instinct to purge anything that has to do with Satan. Even Yukio does not escape such temptation. But I got a feeling that Snipe is one greedy motherfucker and wants to use Rin otherwise he would no jeopardize the life of his other students so easily, and disappeared when he saw what Rin can do.

I promise I will stay put ♥

Now I want to find out if Yukio has anything to do with this. I just can't shake this feeling that he's been used by Mephisto :(

Ano Hana: Episode 8

Since Menma's dad is opposing their idea of learning to make fireworks, they decide to confront Menma's mother while her dad is at work. This is not a good idea in my opinion. I doubt her mom will allow these kids to danger themselves just for her dead daughter's sake. I would be very surprise if she is willing to help them. But then again, she missed her daughter and maybe this makes her feels closer to her.

Things, as expected, didn't go as planned. Menma's mom is actually feeling very bitter that the kids get together again and having fun. She accuses them of neglecting Menma. Hah, I knew this would happened. Since my friend died, we didn't visit his house again, even on festival days because we thought that seeing us will just reminds them of my friend, and what kind of life he would be living if he is still alive. We feel guilty without knowing why we should. That is the kind of can of worm that I refused to open.

After they learned the truth, Yukiatsu suggests they should stop playing around. I think he is right though. This wish of Menma, like I have said before, only concerns Jintan so I think he shouldn't be dragging everyone else with his problem. If only he apologizes, maybe Menma will disappear and leave him for good, but we all know that he doesn't want that to happen. I must admit though that seeing them together is kinda fun but it is also kind of awkward as well because each of them carries pain of their own.

true that

So Jintan makes the decision to grant Menma's wish on his own even though Poppo and Anaru are willing to help him out. I can't help but feeling like he's being selfish again. He said he wants to do it alone but still he causes trouble for everyone else, especially Anaru.

Speaking of Anaru, a standing ovation is in order I think. She boldly confess to Jintan in this episode, even telling him that she felt relieved when Menma died. Despite all that, Jintan still prefers to be a dick.

I've been there so I know how much it hurts

Anaru/Jintan is no longer my OTP. I think Anaru deserved someone better. Jintan can be a necrophilia all his life for all I care. That fucker... he doesn't even give some thought to what Anaru said to him. His head is full of Menma this and Menma that. That makes me sick. And pissed.

I have no sympathy for a coward like him. He should be crying for her mother!

Speaking of his mother, it is his mother death anniversary so he and his dad go to visit the grave leaving Menma alone. She goes out to town for a walk when she meets Poppo. She heard him saying some shit about them not being together anymore and takes it upon herself to reunite them. She calls up Tsururu and Yukiatsu but of course they can't hear her. I think Menma should just fucking leaves everyone alone already. She causes so much pain to the living. She should get over herself. In fact, even his brother feels resentment towards her. He feels neglected since both his parent don't give much attention to him after the death of his sister. Poor kid.

Anaru, Poppo, Yukiatsu and Tsururu meet at the club house when Jintan walks in on them. Obviously they are there to discuss about the prank calls they received from Jintan's house.

don't stop him Poppo! Let him loose! I want to punch the living hell out of Jintan too!

They are all pretty pissed at Jintan and for good reason too. Fuck, when Menma enters that door, I swear I want to strangle her to death but damn it she's already dead!

She goes to her diary and show them some clue. If only she did that earlier then all these misunderstanding could have been avoided. GAH I'M IN RAGE. I never feel like slapping someone so badly as I did now.

Jeebus.

This show is goodness.

Diary of a tard: Week 1, June 2011

Monday, May 30

X-Men episode 6 - So they return to Japan to distribute the vaccine. They learn the river there has becomes toxic. The mutants, and few other things there are getting weird deformations too. As they investigate the source, they walk straight into the enemy's trap. U-Men is more than ready to welcome them. They have every means on how to defeat the X-Men. But of course they still have something up their sleeves. Team work is the keywords. As they travel back to Hisako's place, the storm force them to retire at Sasaki Yui's place who seems not to happy with Emma and vise versa and so the plot thickens. dum dum dum...

poster worthy

They looking for someone who has fire as powerful as Fire Emblem but the wrong enemy (he's not worth it as a character so the show doesn't give him a name ) already targeted Tiger as his next victim in Tiger and Bunny episode 6. In the mean time, Bunny is busy reminiscing about his parent's death. He still has not give up looking for the murderer. Coincidentally, the wrong enemy has the same mark as the man Barnaby is after. Right on cue the new antagonist appears and burns the wrong enemy to crisp.

I can't take this guy seriously with mask like that

Time for some yaoi. Sekaiichi Hatsukoi episode 5 - oh, new character new story? Hatori Yoshiyuki, Yoshino Chiaki and Yanase Yuu are the names. Threesome in the future? Awesome. I have to ask though, why does the uke all look the same? It got me confused. So let see if I get these uke/seme thing right. Hatori likes Yoshino who unconsciously likes Hatori but Hatori is fucking Yuu who also has feelings for Chiaki. talk about complicated. But of course everything works out by the end of the episode. Blurgh such is yaoi. So weak :(

this is kinda hot

Wednesday, June 1

So Dojin is assigned to his class that is full of fugly students in episode 8 of Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san. That teacher of his sure is popular as fuck with the girls. This of course makes Undine jealous thus she turns the school upside down. The fact that Himoi-sensei looks a lot of Ichigo makes this even more hilarious, even after Undine turned him into a fish and got eaten by the monkey. Oh, since Akutabe refused to help Dojin, he makes up story about how he loves Undine and what not. Hah, this should be entertaining.

rofl

SKET Dance episode 7: Bossun has to stand-in as Koutarou for Te-chan as part of their request this time. He has to meet with Te-chan childhood friend, Misaki who kinda sick. Once they find out that Misaki is going to America for a life-death operation, Te-chan doesn't waste any time and immediately turns emo. The rest of the episode is cliche as fuck.

lol what's with the fuck-me face?

Thursday, June 2

Bleach chapter 450 makes me rage, thanks to whorehime.

Saturday, June 4

I keep postponing Ao no Exorcist episode 7. Oh well, at least I get it done.
