Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

Ano Hana: Episode 4

edit: I wrote this a couple of days ago but can't put it up due to Blogger down time.

Yukiatsu continues to be an ass. He’s making up story about Menma seeing her etc. I want to shake him until his teeth rattles because I feel so sorry for him. Though this kinda makes Jintan realizes something. He is being over possessives when it comes to Menma. He forgets that Menma was their friends’s friend as well. He pretends that Yukiatsu words do not affect him but anyone can tell from his reaction that it bothers him.

speak for yourself

So he, Anaru and Poppo went to the stream to search for Menma. On the way there, Jintan has a change of heart (again), and ready to return back to the clubhouse. The conversation with Anaru stalls him for a few second and then something awesome happens. Anaru almost fall and Jintan helps her find her feet again. Gah, when I have an OTP, I want my OTP! XD

sweet!

Anaru does not waste any time confronting him with personal questions regarding Menma. She shows him her vulnerability and I hope that will affect him somehow. I wish the mood continues but unfortunately they have to head back and Yukiatsu just kills any good feelings anyone have by being such an assholes. I went from sorry to mad at him.

Tsururu seems to be on the same page as hogart. There is a high chance that the Menma Poppo saw was actually Yukiatsu, dressing up like her. Jeebus that gives me a chill. Tsururu skips school and pays a visit Jintan place the next day. She comes with a request that requires them to go to town together and intercepting Yukitasu. Tsururu wants Jintan to say that Yukiatsu is making shit up and of course that makes Yukiatsu pissed.

He might seem cool and collected when he faces Jintan but when he reaches home, all hell breaks loose.

oh shit

Tsururu and Hogart are so right and Tsururu is determined to prove that to everyone else. It’s not to bring down Yukiatsu, but I think she wants to help him. That dude seriously has some problems and desperately needs an intervention. After all, this is what friend is for.

They all gather at the clubhouse. When Tsururu calls out for Yukiatsu, I feel like crying for him. He looks so pathetic in that dress and suddenly Tsururu’s method seems too cruel. He invokes too many emotions for me in this one. Such depth in characters. God, I love this show.

urgh the shame... If I was Yukiatsu, I will crawl into a hole and hide for the rest of my life

Bleach: Chapter 447

Yukio power is locking away anyone he wants in a game. I doubt that's all he can do. Despite his look, he is quite formidable. He handles Tsukishima calmly, much different when Ginjou or Ichigo was facing the skinny antagonist.

While they are having a conversation, Riruka threatens to attack with her love gun. Tsukishima doesn't have a choice but to retreat, especially when the commotion has attracted few onlookers. If they don't want to be find out, they really need to leave the scene.

They brought Ichigo to a back up HQ and I was surprised to see that Marie Lim was right. Yukio is rich and the one who has been sponsoring/renovating their HQ. He suddenly looks much more matured for his age. Only for a second though. He throws a tantrum right after when Ginjou asks him to train Ichigo.

Yukio's power is not limited in hiding people/stuff. He also shuts down the reiatsu of those he confines in that game of his. Ichigo's opponent for this training is not Yukio though but Ginjou. I suspect that Yukio is not really good in fighting. He's just a nerd that's good with games but I refused to underestimate him.

I can't believe I am saying this but I am glad when the story takes a turn and shows Inoue visits Ishida. At least this feels real since everyone else's lives should move on and should not evolve around Ichigo alone. Pfft, who am I kidding. That was impossible. This time, Ishida did not reject Inoue's offer to heal him instead he kinda force her to do it just because he felt Ichigo's reiatsu and realized he has met Tsukishima. Ishida... always so sharp when it comes to reiatsu.

I guess he was weak when Inoue got attacked because he didn't realized it until Inoue told him about it.

Poor Ishida... he's out of the action once again. Even though Inoue has healed him, he is still not fit for a fight so he can only sit on his bed while Chad and Inoue go to the backup HQ and see/help Ichigo.

Why don't you rebel, Ishida. That would be awesome. Join Tsukishima-san. He looks like your brother from the same mother after all.

Diary of a tard: Week 1, May 2011

Thursday, May 5

Ichigo needs to slack off a bit. He's too tense in Chapter 446 of Bleach.

Friday, May 6

Fuck I'm dead tired but life has to go on. To make it enjoyable, I watch episode 3 of Ano Hana.

Plan to watch more anime but my eyes are too damn sleepy. Maybe I just watch Fireball Charming episode 4 before bed. Drossel has more new accessories for the toy collectors to go gaga for. It is some sort of mask with cool feathery effect on it's helmet. Together with it is a staff. I believe these stuff are kinda tribal. This is fucking tempting indeed. I was so fascinated by the mask and staff, I paid little attention to what they were talking about. Orz

Ano Hana: Episode 3

This episode starts with Poppo taking a leak in the forest when he saw Menma walking around. Of course that freaks him out. Then we get to see how cool of a dad Jintan father is. I wish I have parent like that... well actually I do. My mom would asked me if I want to go to school or not and if I said no, then that's that. Same with Jintan's dad. He doesn't seems to mind that his son is skipping school. He may have understand that the accident with Menma changes his son's life but as a parent he should know that there's a limit to everything. It has been more or less 10 years since the accident. Even though I know it's hard, I think Jintan should get over it and move on with his life. Or maybe he just wants a reason to stay as a hikki. He wonders why his dad doesn't nag him but I think his dad wants him to make that decision himself. He's not a kid anymore. But since Menma practically dry humps him after his father left, he changes his mind. Besides, he did owe Anaru that much.

awkward...

Too bad that he and Anaru encounter another bitches along the way to school. Just because they said something insulting, that doesn't mean he has to give up that easily. I am really annoyed with Jintan at the moment. Instead of facing his problem like a man should, he runs away and hide. Pathetic.

Since he can't go back because he doesn't want Menma to nag him, he visits Poppo. Poppo told him what he saw the other night and Jintan is not so happy about it. Obviously he wants Menma all to himself, this greedy bastard. He's very rude too, leaving Poppo in the middle of a conversation. Now he has to go home to find out if Menma really did go to the forest yesterday. Jeebus.

While Jintan is gone, Menma explores his house and starts crying when she saw the altar made for Jintan's mom. After she is done with that, she begin making muffins like Jintan mom used to make when they were kids. This only brings back memories to Jintan and we get another flashback of his childhood. He always sucks when dealing with problem. He treated his mom like shit too when she was sick.

Eh wait, ghost can cook? How convenient.

On the other side of town, Tsuruko and Yukiatsu are out shopping. Guess what Yukiatsu trying to buy though... a headband. Heh, this guy is weird. I got a feeling that he's buying this stuff for Menma.

either that or he wears woman clothes as his hobby

Since everyone is ignoring Poppo, he has his own initiatives to create a search party for Menma and invited everyone in their childhood group. So for the first time in a long time everyone gathers together. Once again thanks to Poppo. We get to see how the others communicate instead of always focusing on Jintan and Menma. With each passing episodes, my heart grows fonder for Anaru.

Since Yukiatsu (who I assume is lying) said that he saw Menma down by the stream, everyone else is going there (because Poppo insisted) to check it out. Such nice and appropriate ending for this episode. There is obviously some competition going on between Jintan and Yukiatsu so I look forward to see that in the incoming episodes.

My Top 10: J.C. Staff Anime

Sankaku Complex did it again. They have came up with another troll top 10 list and yet once again I am compelled to properly respond to it so it won't be misleading to the n00bs. I am doing this because I feel responsible as an anime fan to at least do a proper rank. But of course this is MY top 10 list so everything is still biased to my preference.

Having said that, I believe that my choice is more accurate than that produced by that of Sankaku Complex. Their list is as follows:
  1. Tantei Opera Milky Holmes
  2. Taisho Yakyuu Musumo
  3. Toradora!
  4. To Aru Kagaku no Railgun
  5. Aoi Hana
  6. To Aru Majutsu no Index
  7. Otome Yousei Zakuro
  8. Hidan no Aria
  9. Yumekui Merry
  10. Shakugan no Shana
You know that they are trolling when you see what anime top the list. It may be enjoyable but I doubt that it's the best anime from J.C. Staff. In fact I dropped that shit after 4 minutes in. I know many people like it and may disagree with me but seriously? Really? You want to argue with me about this?

This is my top 10 list for J.C. Staff anime. If you frequent my blog often enough, you know that I am not a fan of J.C. Staff production. It's not me saying that they aren't good but I have my own favorite production studio. I have not even done watching some of the shows listed above but after what I have seen, I think it is more than enough to pass my opinion about them. Whatever. Lets not delay the inevitable. Below is the result after my full consideration. Peruse at your own risk.

(c) chika umino

(c) cuteg

3. Nodame Cantabile

4. Otome Youkai Zakuro
(c) ume

5. Shakugan no Shana
(c) roke

6. To Aru Majutsu no Index
(c) skylark

7. Toradora!
(c) skull.03

(c) subachi

9. Revolutionary Girl Utena
(c) dxlsmax

10. Azumanga Diaou

Bleach: Chapter 446

Another late post for this chapter since I was in Bali when it was released. Bali was average anyway since I went with a tour company so we kept on rushing from one tourist attraction to the other. I am definitely going to return soon and this time I'll go for quality time instead of quantity. Tour sucks.

Bleach chapter 446 starts with a humor for couple of pages when Tsukishima's errand boy looking for him. Meh, another weak attempt by Kubo to stalling the damn story.

At the other side of town where the Xcutioner headquarter is, Ginjou is interfering with Tsukishima and Ichigo's fight though Ichigo is not very appreciative. Despite his wounds he is still determine to kick Tsukishima's ass. Unfortunately for him, Ginjou won't hear any of his reasons and knocks him down. If that is not enough, even Chad tries to stop Ichigo from fighting.

This is an excellent opportunity to see who walks the walk and talks the talk. Either the cool Tsukishima or the cunning Ginjou. I bet Tsukishima will make Ginjou looks like an amateur.

pfft! yeah right...

Heh, even though Ginjou who is on the offensive side, he struggles to land an attack on Tsukishima. Since he can't do shit, Ichigo is once again pumps to get back in the ring, ignoring Chad's words of warning. To be honest, I don't want to see Ichigo's full ability just yet. But on the other hand it is good to see him learns his limitation the hard way because I fully expected him to lost the fight.

This is a face you don't want to mess with unless of course you know his power is far more inferior that yours

It won't be that easy though. Someone just had to interfere! At the end of the chapter, someone calls out a chant "Invaders-must-die" and suddenly Ichigo is cloaks in blackness and is whisks away into a video game mode. Obviously trying to protect Ichigo who is not so good playing the damsel in distress role. That someone is the Xcutioner who I have my eyes on ever since he was shown in chapter 431. That someone is also known as Yukio. I think all characters with Yukio as his name will automatically be someone cool as fuck. Just look at Yukio from Ao no Exorcist. I want both of their asses.

long coat seems to be part of their identity as well
