Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

Defective

It feels like the whole of my body system has shut down for the past couple of days. The only thing that ain't defective is my brain that seems like it runs on auto-pilot, finding its own way to recharge. I've been watching anime/reading manga non stop ever since I woke up. Surprisingly after 2 series of yaoi (one which contain the most graphic yaoi I ever seen - which provided endless lulz), I feel considerably well.

This made me realize that my brain may be defective after all O.o

Malaysian footballers

The reason and inspiration for this entry is because of Ntale. So here goes my ranting on our national footballers (soccer).

1. They sucks
2. They sucks
3. THEY SUCKS

They are the scums of the earth, the disgrace of my country and should be shot to the head for even calling themselves footballers as if they deserved the title.

If you think I sound bitter, that's because I am. We (Malaysian) all are!

They are spoil bastards that gets all the richest they can get and screw up on doing the only thing they were paid for: play football.

They have no discipline. They have no knowledge on sport science. They are overweight. They don't do exercises. They always came up with excuses to skip practice. They rejoice when they get injured - because they won't have play then. How fucked up is that?

And when ask why they lack of stamina when they are playing, this excuse were the common one: they are shorter compared to their opponent thus can't run as fast and takes a lot of stamina.

Don't laugh. This is true. Which is sooooooo fucking retarded!

Wright-Phillip is short but I don't see him having problems with his stamina *insert rolleyes icon*

Our national players are known for the wrong things: drug abuser, womanizer, club hopping... you name it, they do it.

At MSN, we do bleep test (a test to measure sportsmen fitness level) and they were mostly below 5! For a normal athletes, 10 is the minimum number. Wayne Rooney is 13 but he's extraordinary. Imagine that... Below 5 for supposedly national footballer! How fucking pussy are they?

They are spoil by the administration (FAM) who have no clue of how to manage a football team and are so full of themselves, they refuses to take any valuable advices.

For example, Allan Harris (former Chelsea player) was the coach for the team from 2000-2004. After four years, he left the club feeling disgusted with the attitude and the lack of commitment that he received from the footballers. He was succeeded by Bertalan Bicskei who after one year terminated his contract because he was disgusted by the FAM ways of doing things. But no... the FAM still blame the coach for the stinking results (we were once beaten by Thailand 11-0 ><). They tried to lure in Guus Hiddink but Hiddink is not stupid and rejected the offer saying that they are no hope left for the Malaysian National Team unless both willing to changed their mentalities. How embarrassing was that?

There was a time when Malaysian football team is the pride of our nation though. A time where the "Tiger" was a force to be reckon with. A time where Malaysia and South Korea were the two main rivals in East Asia. These was when I was around 9-10 years old.

Now, I am embarrassed to associates "Tiger" with the Malaysian Football Team.

Seriously if I have a gun and killing isn't a crime, they are the first of the few people that I will shot and having no qualms about it. Bush comes in second.

So there ya go. Now you know that our footballers sucks big time.

The end.

p/s: I don't have problem with our local player who play pretty good for our national cup. I just have problems with our national players

True Tears

"Because I gave my tears away"

That line made me a fan of this anime and of that character.

This anime is brewed with drama, angst, romance and cuteness. It would have been perfect if I am the kind of girl who loves the normal typical love story. I don't. Nevertheless I still love it. It reminds me of Clannad and Kanon, minus the comedy. There are several scenes that would make you cry a river.

There are three female leads who typically chase after one male lead. It might be considered as a harem but don't let that discourage you since it was well written. The anime takes a rather different approach in dealing with the multi-layer relationships and since they only have 3 females instead of >10, the relationship between the characters are intricate, fragile and well developed.

Throughout the episodes, you will see Shinichirou (the male protagonist) trying to choose between three different girls; Noe, Hiromi and Aiko. Noe is the odd girl whom he met at school. She is straight-forward and managed to pull that naievity persona without being overly cute and obnoxious. She is the catalyst for some of the important occurence in the anime. Hiromi is the girl Shinichiro has a crush on since childhood. She lives under the same roof and have to endure the sneerings from Shinichiro's mother. Aiko is the girlfriend of Shinichiro's best friend, Nobuse but in truth she gets together with Nobuse because she wants to get closer to Shinichiro. She, as far as Shinichirou is concern is not in the equations.

So like it said, the relationships are very complex.

There can be two outcomes for the ending of this anime. Either you love it or you hate it. I happened to be the later. I cried my eyes out watching the final episode of True Tears because I was so fucking disappointed and pissed beyond believe.

Before anyone asked why, let me just tell you that I is a Noe fan and totally hate the fucking whore Hiromi. But there was a consolation I guess with the near-missed incest ^_^

I approved of the incest, Noe. Forget about Shin-thefuckingwhore-chirou

oh yeah, before anyone flipped out, the reason I compared True Tears with the likes of Kanon and Clannad was because despite everything, I fucking hate the ending.

I love both the OP and ED of the series though. I love Eufonius so that is a given. Reflectia remains my all time theme of all time.

Ghost Hound

Whoa, it has been a long time since I update this region. No, I didn't mean my region. Sheesh!

I just wanna share this with you peeps about Ghost Hound.

If you love Jigoku Shoujo, you gonna love this one too. Personally I think it was better, in term of its art however to be fair they do have rather different story lines.

It is about three different kids who have suffered from different traumatic events; Makoto, Tarou and Masayuki. Because of that, they are now have the ability to traverse the “unseen world”. You might want to forgive the slow-paced few minutes of the first episode. Once the plots start to unravel though, it would not stop till the climax. The anime tells the story of trauma, mental disorders, possession, out-of-body experiences, the afterlife, etc. The people deal with all these circumstances differently based on what they believed in which allows us to see a few different point of views, either scientifically or spiritually. There will be question marks hanging above your head on several occasions, especially with the terminology shit but don't fret. It will becomes perfectly clear once explained. Just make sure you pay close attention to the details.

The characters are nicely designed, well rounded and will fascinate you with their vivid personalities.
Everyone will find a bit of himself in some of them. Personally, I am a fan of Makoto but found myself more like Masayuki.

Oh here comes the best part.

Prepare to be creeped out because you definitely will. The appearance of the ghosts are so random, they'll fucking give you goosebumps. I watched the anime with the lights on. Even when I'm done with the episodes, I'm too scared to turned off the light. It just gave me the feeling like the ghosts were just waiting to pounce. That's how fucking downright creepy they are. The great sound effects do not help one bit either. It will certainly turns you into a paranoid for a 'lil while especially if the tune got stuck in your head, like it did with me.

So yeah, like I said, this anime is made of awesomesauce. Nothing is overdone and everything flows perfectly.

This anime is for people who loves and are very appreciative of horror, mystery and psychological series because if you are not you might think of it as a waste of time. It's your lost, dumbass.

Also as a reminder, this anime is definitely not for the weak-hearted.

Ah fuck it!

I went to Uda, temankan Z/A ke CIMB and help him uruskan beberapa perkara. Hati dah rasa tak sedap all day and I wasn't in a good mood at all.

Sampai Uda kena lak amik tiket metro parking. Because I'm petit (ignoring the word short), tangan tak sampai which mean I have to open the door to get the tix. Fine. So I opened the door. All my belongings bertabur atas jalan. Dah jadi satu hal pulak dk kutip barang kat depan booth tu. Anyway, nak dipendekkan cerita, ntah camana boleh tak perasan my handphone dah lesap. Bila sampai kat CIMB baru la menggagau cari.

Conclusion: masih ada kat tempat amik tix tu.

Menggelepar cik gi rush ke tempat kejadian. Fuh, luckily tak ada siapa yang perasan. Memang rezeki cik la, elok handphone tu terletak atas jalan. I picked it up went back to the car.

Uwaa.... kat dalam kereta baru perasan the skrin habis jahanam. But luckily boleh pakai lagi cuma dah tatau la sapa yang tepon kejadah semua. Hmm... maknanya kena switch back to the old Nokia again la before I can get it fix. Mesti makan ratus-ratus punya tu... Kot kalau camtu baik beli handphone baru terus!

Fuck, duit bazir ke longkang lagi!!!

p/s: Ni semua salah kau Z/A. Kot kalau tak mintak cik teman, tak ler melingkup handphone cik. I want a replacement!!!!!!! ehehehe

Lovely Complex

Well, how should I put this...

Lovely Complex quickly become one of my favorite romance comedy anime (Honey & Clover still stays on top of the list though). It was fucking hilarious!

Koizumi Risa is a very tall girl -172cm while Ootani Atshushi is a short boy - 156cm. On first day of school, their teacher dubbed them as the "All Hanshin-Kyojin" (look up what it means yourself - I'm too lazy to explain). They both have strong characters and unique personality, which led to many disagreement and opposition, so they routinely fight and entertain their class with their antics.

At first they both made an alliance to help each other find a mate. Koizumi wants a guy taller than her (which is rare in Japan) and Ootani wants a girl that is nothing like Koizumi. But gradually Koizumi starts to develop special feeling for Ootani and here's where the best part start. Ootani done every possible thing to convey her feelings to Ootani but Ootani is too dense to even sense it although the rest of the school are aware of it.

Eventually Ootani realize what is going on. I just love the way how he conveys his feeling to Koizumi once they start to date. It was so damn romantic. I would love to be treated that way. Hell, Ootani is exactly the type of guy I dream about (except for the height).

Instead of standard Japanese (like in any other anime), most of the characters speak in Kansai-ben. It is also the other reason why I like Ootani so much. The way he speaks, it was so melodic, specially when he calls Koizumi 'aaho'.

This is the kind of anime that is so funny you just want to watch it over and over again. I absolutely love it.
