Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

Life without Gintama isn't a life worth living

If you have never watched Gintama, or even heard of it, you have committed one of the most grievous sins. Change that! Start watching it now! Gintama can save your soul. Trust me on this one. It is after all THE GREATEST ANIME ever!

Before you said anything, continue reading about what I have to say about it.

(c) pixiv id 236246

If there is one thing that makes me frustrated, it's when people keep saying that they can't watch Gintama because of the number of episodes it has. I mean, what kind of a fucking lame excuse is that? If Sougo hear this, he'll hunt you down and fucking tortured you to death because he is one sadistic bastard and I love him so much.

First of all, it only has (as of the moment I write this) 239 episodes. That is considered little if compared to other shounen jump anime like Naruto, Bleach and the father of them all, One Piece. You don't even have to watch it in one go. In fact, Gintama is at it's best when you savor it. To tell you the truth, I am not up to date with the episodes either. I purposely not catching up to it so that I have Gintama episodes reserved when I feel like killing random people, and then some babies.

And then there's people who used the excuse of "it's a comedy and I don't watch comedy". Well fuck that. You obviously didn't know what you were talking about and made the mistake of judging the book by it's cover. There is no show that have such depth as Gintama. It discussed anything and everything from alien invasion to cotton candy.

So seriously, you need to have Gintama episodes on your hard disk or anywhere that is accessible for you 24/7. I don't need to repeat myself because I already told you why you MUST watch this show by hook or by crook. You will find non stop amusement, from the episode title to the pace of the show. Let's be honest now, we all need "that".

However, I can forgive you if you didn't watch the show but is reading the manga instead. Hideaki Sorachi is a fucking genius either way. It is simply brilliant. I mean just look at these quotes for example

I won’t give my panties to men who won’t even expose their face. If you want, challenge me from the front without the mask on. Set your heart free from the panties!
- Shimura Otae

Let’s dye white briefs with new blood!
- Kagura

Gintoki… even if I fall into the earth, you’ll catch me again, and… I’ll fly as many times as I want into space…
- Sakamoto Tatsuma

You won't be getting shit like these from anywhere else. Gintama is an honest comedy with moments that will convert you into a Gintamard for life.

I implore you. Gives this show a try and see how your world as you know it changed before your eyes. There are Gintamards and then there are everyone else.

p/s: The first few episodes were kinda slow but once it pick up, you'll be at the edge of your seat trying not to fall down from laughing too much.

Diary of a tard: Week 3, December 2011

Sunday, December 11

I was bored and in no mood to watch anime so what did I do? I read yaoi. This time the title is Brothers and despite what you think this incest is totally legal since they are both from different parent and only becomes family because their parent married each other. After only two days of marriage, they died of plane crash (lol cliche) and thus leaving Christine (the Japanese older brother) and Wataru (the English younger brother) all by themselves. It took sometimes for the romance to bud but it gradually gets there but if you expect a hot steamy action, you'll be thoroughly disappointed. Final score (5/10)

this is as smut as it gets >_>

If you want smut, then I suggest you pick up Three and a Half. It's about 3 guys and a dog who live under the same roof. Two of them are bi while the straight guy is straight as you can think of, which mean he is a bit of a nerd too and rather be fucked by his dog than gets pleasured by a slut. But of course you already knew that the straight guy will eventually becomes gay and the three of them (plus the dog) will have a threesome (or a foursome if you want to include the dog - but I'm just saying). Turned out the straight guy has premature ejaculation and that's how the gay guys "helped". That's only the first chapter of the story though and since it's 3am and I have bread class tomorrow, the rest of the chapters have to wait.

Wednesday, December 14

Chapter 2 of Three and a Half: This chapter is called Dessin and featured different characters - Hibiki and Yuusuke who keep breaking up and make up but hey if the make up sex is great, why the hell not right? This chapter is pretty stupid overall but the sex was kinda hot.

Torso is the third chapter for Three and a Half and get ready for some really messed up shit. It's about a boy who fucked a mannequin. It wasn't even a full body mannequin, it was just a torso (and has dick - obviously). He fucked the mannequin senseless until he found an art student who has the same figure as the torso and made him watched he fucked the mannequin before he raped him. However, instead of getting angry, they ended up being real lovers. LOL I told you this one is messed up.

jeebus =|

I think I need a break from that. Thank goodness that Hyakko has finally update with chapter 41! The last chapter I read was back in May Orz. They did the Halloween theme for their school festival and it just one chaos after the other. To be honest, I was quite confused because it was just sort of all over the place, this chapter. I can't even differentiate Torako from the rest of the characters at first, that was how confusing it was. It definitely had something to do with all the costumes they were wearing. There were a lot of things that were revealed in this chapter.

  • We were introduced to Nagi Tanjou, one of the members from Ushio's group.
  • Suzume has a younger twin brother
  • Shishimaru Sengoku has a blast when accidentally both he and Toriko wore the vampire costume and Toriko ended up spending the day with him.
  • Amagasa Kyouichirou, the teacher was a student from that school and was one of the four deities known as the "wolfblade". He was pretty much a delinquent.
  • Kitsune once again saved Ayumi from getting harassed. How can I not think he likes her now? It was obvious she likes him >_>
  • They concluded the chapter with rock-on performance by the OOZ.

the simple joys of love ^_^

Friday, December 16

I barely catch up on my anime this week, aside from Working'!! and Fate/Zero. I am just simply not in the mood for it or perhaps I let the yaoi fangirl inside of me wins the argument every time. Same goes for tonight. I'm picking up another yaoi. The title is Kimi wo Watareba (translated to If I Can Cross to You). It's about Haginuma Yoshimori who traveled through time and ended up in Midou Ibuki's room. Apparently it happened a lot at the dorm, as was said by the manager. Haginuma was in love with his best friend from his era that looks like Ibuki. His best friend was the grandfather of Ibuki. So it was a perfect opportunity for him to get it on with Ibuki. He didn't waste any time at all. The only problem now is that when he went back to his era. Both of them would have been butthurt missing each other >_>

that took... less than 5 minutes >_>

Fate/Zero: Episode 11

I asked in the last episode why there were no signs of battle in that mansion of theirs (Kiritsugu) and Reiki told me that it was a huge mansion and only certain parts were in ruined. Just like he said, this episode showed us the parts of the mansion that was destroyed during the Kiritsugu versus Kayneth's battle. Now I gotta ask, just how freaking big the mansion is and apparently they don't have taste when decorating their house because every rooms pretty much look the same.

Kiritsugu was not present at the mansion and Rider took the opportunity to attack Saber and Irisviel. Hmm, what happened to the Church order of eliminating Caster first? No one listened to the old fart, that's what happened. Rider came wearing that shirt and jeans that he bought which mean he and Waver didn't come to fight but to drink instead. Huh?

Rider wanted to have a dialogue to discern who ranked the highest among the heroic spirit and thus prevent any unnecessary bloodshed. He must thought that he ranked the highest when I think if they wanted to determine who wins the war according to rank, then Gilgamesh would have won it. No competition. Speak of the devil, Gil dropped by. He received an invitation from Rider as well.

just how much hair gel is he wearing

Since the wine that Rider brought along was no good, Gil brought along his own excellent wine. All he needed to do was open the portal that houses his finest treasure and it was done. How fucking cool is that?

They continued the "dialogue". First they have to tell the others about the wish they want the Holy Grail to grant for them. Gil was adamant, saying that the Holy Grail was his to begin with. So he didn't have any wish but will not sit quietly when people want to steal it from him. To Gil, it was just a matter of principle.

As for Rider, his wish is for true incarnation, to be human again. I thought he really wish to conquer the world but I guess he loves this era way too much. I don't like the fact that he went back on his words. He came there to avoid bloodshed but when Gil told him that it was his, he didn't hesistate to go into battle.

that gotta hurt >=)

We already know what Saber's wish is: the salvation of her homeland, Britain, from destruction, which means she wanted to change the past. I have to wonder now though. Since she arrived in this era, surely she would have learned how Britain has flourish, prosper and is actually one of the dominant countries in the world and how that part of history she was in just made that country stronger? What else does she wants then? Rider has all the right not to recognize her as a king anymore.

ouch

While the two of them debate of what defined a king, Gil just sat there and listened quietly. Only after Rider had left that he spoke to Rider: saying that she was right and continued the path that she has chosen. I think he just need amusement and Saber provided just that.

...

heh

She and the two Kings have very different views about offering. Saber wanted to sacrifice for her people but Rider and Gil thought that it was the other way around. Saber and Rider had quite a debate about this. I think that both of them were right to an extend. Everything should be done in moderation. Rider's words however were more convincing than Saber's weak conviction.

Their dialogue was interrupted by the Assassins, of whom Rider invited as wel. I thought that it was under Tokiomi's order (Gil wasn't pleased by the development at all. Well, he was right. It was cowardice if indeed Tokiomi sent them). They didn't come for a drink though which was a bad move.

Rider got serious and fuck me, he turned the whole place into a desert and he summoned his armies (who are heroic spirits too, which made them Servants as well), using Reality Marble (according to Irisviel - a mental image materialized into the real world) or his Noble Phantasm - Ionian Hetairoi. That was pretty impressive, not to mention powerful. I never took him seriously but now I have a new found respect for him.

I bet the Assassins were peeing in their pantsu but it's too late for them. RIP. I wonder if we have seen the last of Assassins...

double ouch

p/s: I want a Ionian Hetairoi too so I have endless supplies of well-chiseled guys at my disposal *licks lips*

Bleach: Chapter 477

Kubo is very generous nowadays. He keeps giving up color spread almost every other weeks. Not that I'm complaining but he better make sure that he delivers in term of plot and story wise as well.

oh so his hair is white now...

And Ichigo didn't kill Ginjou when he cut him at the end of last chapter. I wonder if he even wounded by that cut because the fight just got more intense as they keep clashing their zanpaktous. Like few of us already noted, the fight will look so freaking bad ass when animated, that is if the production studio didn't get stingy with their budget.

Eventually Ginjou did fall as the loser. In his dying moments, Ginjou still managed to wonder if Ichigo be like him if their situation was reverse. I doubt it. Ichigo's soul is just so pure that he'll be who he is regardless.

But wait, a fucking twist! I was like.... "whoaaaaaaa" because I totally didn't see it coming. I thought Byakuya had dealt with Tsukishima accordingly but apparently he did a half ass job because Tsukishima was back and he wanted to stab Ichigo with that fullbring of his. OH FUCK! BAM! Looked who came to his rescue!!

I squeal with triumphant fist in the air. Look at Ichigo's face >=D

Don't worry though because apparently Rurika did hide inside of Rukia and it was her who was getting stabbed by Tsukishima who has no mercy towards his comrades. He was just so focused in killing Ichigo and saving Ginjou. Hmm, he really is fond of Ginjou huh?

The chapter was all good until Rurika sprout nonsense about Ichigo saving Ginjou. What the fuck was that? HE KILLED GINJOU damn it and I don't give a shit about that spiritual psychology shit that Rurika wanted us to believe because Ginjou was rotten and I don't want to give him my sympathy just because you fucking said so.

and the truth has been revealed. Tsukishima is Ginjou's boy toy

I really don't understand what was Kubo trying to do. Just let the villain be villain. You are degrading them as a character, Kubo. Stop it!

And with the death of Ginjou (I hope Rurika and Tsukishima will be dead too), this might be the end of this stupid pointless arc as well. We might see Ichigo getting back to his usual routines (this time with Rukia around) but before we forgot, Urahara was on the way to where they were at right? Lets see if Kubo forgot about that too, like he forgot about Grimmjow. Ichigo's friends and families need a memory alteration after all since Tsukishima is still alive which mean his fullbring power is still on.

Most of all, I want to see what the shinigamis are up to ^__^

Working'!!: Episode 11

It looks like this episode will be about many random things that happened at Wagnaria:

1. Yamada lost her Daisy, the stuffed bear that Souma bought for her the other day. Takanashi offered to cover her shift while she looked for it. In return, he wanted to hold Daisy once she found it heh. Inami and Poplar helped her out but in the end, it was Satou who put it back into the attic.

2. The reason why Yachiyo isn't making any friends is because she was always surrounded by Mashiba #2 and Kyoko. That makes her self insufficient as well. Satou confronted Mashiba #2 about it but she didn't take it very well which consequently made Satou confessed the truth about his feelings for Yachiyo. Did you know that Satou has been in unrequited love with Yachiyo for four freaking years. lol I know how you feel, Satou-san. You have my sympathy.

Anyway, little did they know that Yachiyo heard bits and pieces of their conversation and misunderstood it. (un)surprisingly, she was affected by it. Everyone noticed it and Satou deducted that she either overheard them or Mashiba #2 ratted out. He finally decided that enough is enough. He gonna end it and if he failed, he will quit his job.

ouch

Oh shit, I think Satou will end up leaving Wagnaria if this continues. Liking/loving someone for four years and then suddenly decided that you want to stop... that's impossible, especially when that someone is so near. Oh man... I really do hope that Yachiyo finally realized her feelings soon, because from her reaction, she obviously likes Satou too. If only Satou confessed to her instead of going around the bushes all the time. Jeebus, why the hell I am the one being nervous?

I'm sorry Satou. I love you but...

3. Nazuna decided to help out a little when she saw her brother having a rough time. She learned self-defense from Kozue, how to be an adult from Izumi and Kazue. None of it actually be any use to help out Takanashi.

Takanashi will disagree with you

4. Souma will never gets tired teasing Satou about it right? Right. Don't you ever change :3

Another milestones: 500K

I reached 50K hits back in June last year, 100K hits 3 months after that and now a year and a half later, here I am celebrating my 500K hits. Good news is, I am still as passionate about anime as I was back then, or maybe even more. I am certainly watching way more anime at the moment than I did a year ago. I even beat Glo with the hits but he hasn't been as active as he was otherwise I would have bite the dust.

So I have been thinking of what to write for this somewhat special occasion but no idea came to mind. The only reason I know why I even bother writing this post is to encourage myself to be a better writer and blogger. Some may argue that page views don't mean shit and don't actually indicate the real number of readers but I take what I can. Besides, this stats aren't accurate either since blogger only started calculate the stats in 2009 while I started this blog in 2006.

(c) pixiv id 3336239

Though I am excited, it wasn't all that big of a deal. Ambivalen got the perfect post to indicate how I really feel about it (not coincidentally, the post was about them celebrating a milestone as well). Don't get me wrong though. I am happy but at the end of the day, it just another numbers and a relatively small numbers compared to the hits of other bloggers.

I decided to bring you guys closer to the innards of conspicuous klux. Allow me to bore you by writing some brief stats before we move on to other subjects (if I feel like it). I'll do them in a batch of top threes:

I owe part of this success to animenano and otaku.fm for bring in most of the hits, with the former more so than the latter. The third highest referral site is actually from A Product of Wasted Time which bumped Baka-Raptor down to fourth place. To be completely honest, I was quite surprise by this since I never did see any linkage from that said blog that directed to my blog. It was quite a mystery. Maybe TJ can explain it?

Popular post is dominated by my first impression for Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls. I guess they weren't enough ecchi pictures of the show around the net. Pretty ironic since I didn't even manage to watch the second episode. Number two is about a post that discussed the impact of anime in our sexual every day life. I certainly has learn a lot from watching/reading anime/manga (inclusive of yaoi) than I did in school. It also makes me developed my own fetishes. The third most popular post of all time is a meme post I wrote when I started writing about anime. It wasn't anything special except for the smex IchiRuki fanart.

My top three keyword search should have had something to do with popular posts right? But it don't have any relation at all. The first most popular keyword is rather dull: anime spring 2011 which of course directed them to my preview of that said season. The second keyword is best sex positions which then directed to one of the most fun post I have ever written in the history of conspicuous klux. But that post did not transpired the best discussion as much as the post about whether or not size matter does. That was enjoyable as fuck (pun fully intended).

And that's all for the stat shit. I doubt that any of you care anyway. I reiterate what I said in June last year: Not that it (this blog) was a popular blog then, nor it is a popular blog now.

(c) pixiv id 1486191

So what have changed besides the layout of this blog which I absolutely adore as it is way more user-friendly and easier to navigate through? The fact that I ended up writing episodic reviews for the shows that I care and have a high regard for. I realized that trying to compress my opinions for those shows in my tard diary would be sort of an injustice. As things turn out, I actually enjoyed writing those reviews for my own satisfaction, even though that it might not have any added values.

But most of all, I see new names in my blog now compared to the familiar names that frequent my blog in yesteryear: Ningyo, Canne, Jubbz, Oballer, Yi, Bass and few others. Part of it was totally my fault. The influctuation of posts in the first half of this year must have been one of the biggest reasons. Other than that, it must have something to do with the uninspiring posts I wrote. Again, totally my fault. I guess all I wanna say is I sorta missed seeing them. I blame the twitter!

Having said that, let me properly thanks all who have helped contribute for the hits. Though it might not seem important, knowing that someone read the shit I wrote, is one of the real joys of life and for that I'll be forever in debt to you all. Hopefully my passion for writing (be it shit or otherwise) will continue for many more hits to come.

And that's all for this unimportant post. See you guys again in another obligatory post if I ever hit 1 million hits heh. To those who read this post from start to finish, you are pretty awesome for surviving the ramblings, links and random fanarts ^_^
