Aku no Hana

It has been a while I got this excited for an anime. In fact, I can't remember the last anime that got me all worked out like this. Needless to say, I think Aku no Hana is a very awesome anime. I definitely recommended it to everyone.

A Year Older: Again

It’s that day when I got another level up in life. I’m turning a year older again today. So many things have changed in a course of a year. I read what I wrote on my birthday last year and I almost choked with laughter at how ridiculous everything sounds.

Goodbye 2012 and Hallo 2013

So overall, year 2012 has indeed been kinder to me. I have achieved what I set out to achieve but most importantly, I unexpectedly found love which is easily the highlight of the year for me.

Light Writings: Love II

I need an outlet to express how I feel nowadays. To be honest, things are going too good for me at the moment to the point that I am sort of living in fear for I do not want these extremely good feelings, and the love I have for him to end. If all these are gone tomorrow, there is a big probability that I might lose sanity.

Light Writings: Crush II

Welp, looks like we are having this conversation again after so many years. Well 2 years and 3 months to be exact. The last time I wrote about my crush, I was in a different state of mind where I know it can be nothing more than just that, a crush.

Bleach: Chapter 494

I don't care how shitty the series are at the moment but every time I saw the colored cover of Ichigo/Rukia looking so damn fine, I forget all the worries and disappointment. Dayyum Ichigo sure looks delectably bad ass in this cover. Oh and lets not forget the captains of the Gotei 13. When was the last time we had the spread of all the captains? Too long my friends... too long.

That good feelings continue for the first few pages as we saw the Vandenreich assaults Soul Society and since the shinigami wasn't expecting them to attack this soon, they are all pretty much in panic mood. Soul Society is surrounded by pillars blue flames, that of which significant to the Quincy. While they are all amuses at how spiritually dense the pillars, Rukia stepped up and take charge. She figured that at the bottom of each pillars must have a Quincy waiting. Heh, that's my girl.

It is just like Mayuri trying to collect all the data even at the most dire time. I guess he is just doing his job but I almost facepalm when they have to wait before they could bring down the pillar because the data weren't collected correctly. I don't know why it took them so long to figure out that they are being attacked by the same enemy that they dealt with few days back. Who else could it be other than the Quincies right?

Or maybe these shinigami weren't being told the truth by the higher up. After all it happened before when Soul Society held information from the shinigami for their own sake. Well, shit sure looks that way at the moment and I don't mind taking the easy way out for once.

I think this negligence has caused Kira his life. Yes, Kira was the first to be killed in this attack and I am pissed as fuck. Wabisuke is an awesome zanpaktou and will surely do some heavy damage. Fuck you Kubo. If you are in a hurry to kill off the good characters, fucking kill Inoue or Chad first. FUCK YOU.

NNNUUUUUUUUUUUU~~

Kubo introduced the third seat of several divisions. They are pretty much fitted to be in their respective divisions either because of their personality or simply  based on physical outlook. Okikiba Genshirou is the third seat officer of the 1st Division of whom the old fuck was specifically ordered to stay put at the division and just like the rest of the shinigami (whom we knew) from 1st Division, he is ancient. Tagakushi Rikuu is the third seat officer for 3rd Division and why am I not surprised to see that he's blond (I assumed that's his hair color is). Katakura Asuka looks so poised that you knew he belongs to the 6th Division. As for Yami's twin brother, Gori Taketsuna, he kinda looks out of place, surrounded by these good looking fellas.

And I don't even understand why Kubo introduced them when he just going to kill them a few pages after that. It was merciless and I know it was supposed to show how formidable the enemies are but damn it, I am still pissed. What the hell happened to my beloved shinigamis? They aren't this fucking weak, that's for sure. The Stern Ritter killed over 1000 shinigamis in 7 minutes.

this is actually kinda hot

HOLY FUCK SHIT IS GOING DOWN!

I don't believe that the shinigami have become complacent and thus weak because Ichigo always around to save their asses (except for the old fuck - he's senile). The differences in power between these two sides are just insane.

Well, FUCK YOU AGAIN KUBO. FUCK YOU.

Yeah of course I know the shinigami will be triumphant at the end and that in war shit like this happened all the time. Shut up. I am just unhappy knowing that we might have seen the last of Kira Izuru. And don't you dare telling me that he's gonna meet Gin in heaven and continue with their BL.

First Impression: AKB0048

My understanding is, this series might be pretty similar to the iDOLM@STER. And then I heard that it was inspired by a real life group idol that I don't give a shit about hence can't remember their names. So basically, I think this series is going to sucks. BAD.

The story is indeed as bad, or perhaps worse, as I predicted. A bunch of girls in a planet where any sorts of entertainment is forbidden, created a guerrilla group which supposedly will inspire the people. Sounds reasonable but is poorly executed. It just doesn't compute for me, especially when I see old guys fapping cheering for them.

I feel sorry for the mecha fans. I really am.

I dropped this shit after 9 minutes and 11 seconds. I was raging. No big surprised.

Diary of a tard: Week 4, May 2012

Monday, May 21

Episode 6 of Tsuritama: They went fishing as usual and was introduced to Akemi, a spot where the locals are forbidden to fish because a boat went missing years ago. To celebrate Keito coming home from the hospital, Yuki decided to catch her a tuna. So they went out to see but to no avail. Later on, they went on Akira's boat to the Akemi where Yuki managed to catch a tuna. However, strange shit was happening. Haru showed his true self for the first time and I am no longer convinced that he was the good guy here. It seems like Akira was the one protecting and shit. I still have no idea what was happening but it sure makes me eager to see the next episode. I noticed that Akira has grown closer to these kids and somewhat becomes friends with them. He also knows as much about fishing as Natsuki. It is a good change for Akira, I must say. Also, with less than half of the episodes to go, I am surprised that I don't have a BL OTP for this show yet. That's how engrossing the story is, I guess.

I don't mind having him all to my self ♥

Hiiro no Kakera episode 2: The villains are on the move. One of them even posed as the English teacher. All the while, the Onikirimaru seal is getting weaker and the God is getting even more restless. According to Suguru, the seal is protected by two other seals: the blood of Tamayura and the five seals known as the Artifacts. The villains disrupt one of the Artifact seal so they decided to check them out, with Tamaki insisting on going too. Obviously it was a trap set by the villain in order to test the power of Shugogo House. Urgh...

Panda and Penguin both dreamed of opening a their own cafe in episode 2 of Shirokuma Cafe. Actually the episode pretty much centered around the animal wanting to own their own cafe, and obviously they will only included foods that they wanted to eat. It's like watching endless eight only with different characters. The second half of the episode centered on Penguin who got drunk at a cherry viewing party. I lol'd at his antics and I think Penguin is the cutest of them all.

It is time for the final interview for the second exam in episode 4 of Uchuu Kyoudai. As usual Mutta fucked up. Of all the things that he could say, he said that he made more lathers than the others when he shampooed his hair. LMAO just what were you thinking, Mutta? Anyhoo, he managed to get Seirika's email and phone number thanks to Kenji. On top of that he is going to America, all expenses paid by NASA, thanks to Hibito of course.

this show needs more fanarts

Episode 2 of Gakkatsu: If I thought the first episode was meh, then this episode has redeemed this series. This time the classroom discussed about the stall in boys toilet that has never been used. Again, I didn't know whether this fact is true or not but if it is, then this show has once again taught me something new. I managed to laugh thanks to that guy who was holding it in XD

Daily Lives of High School Boys episode 6: Heh, I love it when their discussion ends because they got distracted by something so trivial, like a bouncing ball. But that is just how boys are. They also created unnecessary trouble like when Hidenori asked Yoshitake's sister why was she always home during Christmas, which of course ended up with them getting chased by the said sister. I love the fact that they will go the distance for their friend's little sister, like when Tadakuni's sister ask for help and bunch of them showed up. However, Tadakuni has no idea about the incident which makes it hilarious imo. Same goes with how they tried to be considerate with Ringo. Ah, I love these boys.

It is Tsukahara Bokuden turns to be in the spotlight in episode 5 of Sengoku Collection. She teaches kendo but was misunderstood for spreading the feel/need to kill as samurai due to an interviewer (Morse) edited out her interview to make her looks like a bad person. So she found ways to set things right again. It was an okay episode with few other samurai making an appearance, like Ittousai but there is no Nobunaga looking for Secret Treasures though.

Wednesday, May 23

It has been a while since I last watched Gintama. That can't be right. So lets make it right then! Gintama episode 155: The first segment is pretty much a focus on how Madao became Madao. He was retelling his story after he and Gin-san lost all their money gambling (horse racing). It made him realized that he was in a DORK spiral thanks to Gintoki and his two subordinates though Gin-san quickly dismissed it. Just when he thought he made it, he was being pulled back. It looks like there is no way for Madao to escape from the DORK Spiral. But, why do I feel so bad for Gin-san who lost the winning ticket? Heh

ALL THE WAY THROUGH!

Sengoku Collection episode 6: Another boring episode where they introduce the scientist. She loves the future and so she make a time traveling machine. She used it to save the dream of a boy though. Fuck this show was boring. There's no Nobunaga either.

Chiho was visited by alien in episode 3 of Gakkatsu. WE ARE NOT ALONE. So yeah, she discussed this during the homeroom class. Everyone agrees that the alien wants to conquer the world except for the transfer student, Mr. Gray, who is obviously an alien himself. But all well will ends well. Thanks to Chiho, the fickle minded class changed their mind and want to be friends with the aliens instead.

Shinji Inukai is back in episode 3 of Hiiro no Kakera. The reason he left the village is to train but Takuma wasn't so pleased about his return. Inukai has the power of words which gives him the ability to control his surroundings. Now that all five guardians are back, things are getting serious as Monado's underlings were sent to break one of the seal. Too bad Tamaki interfered though because honestly I do want to see them fight and use their powers.

Thursday, May 24

My week won't be completed without yaoi. I picked up Mimurake no Musuko, the latest addition from my numero uno yaoi source. The story is about Toshi who is in love with Yumi, his friend since forever but Toshi is having sex with Sumi, Yumi's brother. Sumi ran away from his responsibility to be the heir of his family business so the burden fell on Yumi who by the way is bipolar. His dream is to kill people and buried them in the mountain (heh now you see why I like this guy?). I can't wait to see what Yumi will do when he found out that Toshi and his brother are having sex behind his back.

First Impression: Nazo no Kanojo X

This series is included in my MUST WATCH list of the season but for some reason when it was released, I have no desire at all to watch it. That is going to change though because finally I'm able to force myself to sit down and check it out.

Glo loves this series. He even changed his twitter name to the title of this series. Though I don't read the manga, he made me intrigued as to what was it that is so fascinating about this series. Well, for one, Urabe is awesome as fuck. I totally agree with Glo.

this is actually turning me on
(c) Machiko

Urabe reminded me somewhat of myself, except the saliva thingy. I know what I want and I will strive to get it, or at leas try to. Urabe is just like that. She is also sociably inept and doesn't really give a fuck what other people think of her. I liked her the moment she said no to her classmate and chose sleep over food. She's definitely not your average female character and that is always good in my book.

As for the story, it is definitely original. The fact that Urabe has that many saliva when she's happy/turn on, is a proof of that. I can't wait to see the plot with the scissors.

I understand that the art itself is a representation of the manga but it is sort of out dated and the animation doesn't added any extra value to it. The saliva for example, didn't look real, but I guess as long as it managed to interpret what was written, it's good enough. At the end of the day, it shouldn't have mattered anyway. It's either you enjoy the episode or not and enjoyed it I did.

Episode 2 get.

Bleach: Chapter 493

We all know that Opie will one way of the other destroyed Allon otherwise he will serve no purpose in this arc other than that fugly dude with even fuglier transformation. So yeah, Opie pretty much butchered and turned Allon to nothingness without having to lift a fucking finger. He just spread that fugly wings of his and that's that. I am not sure what the fuck Kubo was thinking but this is like Aizen all over again. That godly power... *sighs*

I mean, it's like Kubo thought that Opie isn't fugly enough he gave him the power to absorb reishi (or in his words: enslaved them) which means Opie gets fuglier. I didn't know that was even possible.

DAFUQ?!

So that dude who attacked Ichigo at the beginning of this arc (may he rest in peace), might have the same idea when he pushed Ichigo to use his bankai. I guess he wanted to use Sklaverei to absorb Ichigo's bankai but shit wasn't really working for him. I wonder if it's because Ichigo's reishi was special or different...

I was surprised to see the three bitches scattered the minute they realized his ability.  Well, they should be afraid. They are all made of reiatsu after all. However, I am even more surprised that they actually helped Inoue and Chad by hiding them using one of the bitches (the snake one)'s optical illusion power. Their plan? Go to where Ichigo is.

Yeah that's right. Go to Ichigo will solve all the worlds' problems >_>

However Opie can't be fooled by such low standard tricks and charged in. Inoue and Chad nearly had their deserving ending but of course Ichigo won't let that happened. Y U NO LEAVE THEM BE, ICHIGO?

I am disappointed. Can you tell? T___T

Oh but wait, lets not forget that Buckbeard is invading Soul Society at the same time and looks like the insignificant shinigami, including Kajoumaru, are going to get fried!

Heh. Let see what they can do without Ichigo to help them out. I can't wait to see the captains and their fukutaicho in action again. Let it roll baby! I'm ready to fap!

First Impression: Gakkatsu

In my preview, I said I wasn't a fan of the art. From the poster it looks too much like a western cartoon than an anime and I don't like that. However, lets not judge the book by it's cover. After all, I did end up enjoying Sengoku Collection, didn't I?

Don't be fooled
(c) pixiv id 2034219

Chiho Takachiho is the class president of some random class that discussed random thingy after school. I don't have any idea what Gakkatsu means but I hope it means utter randomness because that was this show is all about. In this first episode, Chiho discussed that bump thingy you found on your wrist. She was annoyed that she doesn't know what it was called (I didn't know either). A brainy kid solved that by providing the answer: Ulnar Styloid process. Chiho rejected it because it sounds so terrible and after voting democratically, they decided to call it Miss Bumpsies.

Like I said, utter randomness.

Well, at least the art and animation wasn't as bad as Double J though it wasn't any better. Because this show is only 5 minutes long per episode, people won't find it difficult to dedicate their time to watch some annoying megane girl discussing anything of her fancies.

I wasn't sure whether I will watch this or not but it wasn't as shitty as I thought it would be. There's still hope for this show yet.

Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Episode 5

It's getting harder and harder to get in the mood to watch Korra. If it wasn't for Glo and Rogue, I would have probably put this series on hold. However, according to Glo, I have another two episodes to go (well three if you include this one) before shits are going down. With that in mind, I tread on.

Before I start though, here is a smex picture of Bolin, because I think he deserves some exposure. If you know what I mean ^_^

ah yes...
(c) Awitan

And then the episode started and what do I get? Mako doing that fucking nose thingy with Asami. I was gagging. Urgh this is not a good start at all. This romance shit gotta stop! I mean, now even Bolin is looking for "real love" all of a sudden. I couldn't facepalm hard enough when Korra decided to confess her feelings for Mako, and got fucking rejected! And then she did what? She fucking kissed him!

What the fuck is this shit? And what the fuck is wrong with Mako? If Bolin wants to date Korra let her fucking be! You dickhead of nose-fucking-shit-thingy! Bluergh! >=(

This is probably why I take an immediate liking towards the asshole Tahno who wants to get into Korra's pantsu. Oh wait, one moment there I thought Bolin and Korra could be an item right? Well, forget about that. We all know that it's not gonna happened. Sadly so, I must say.

now kiss!
This episode has the potential to make me rage so much but thank goodness for the tournament! Because fuck it was awesome to see them bending. This is what Avatar is all about after all: THE BENDING! And I must admit, Bolin defending the Fire Ferret all alone in Tourney 2 was fucking hot. I am glad I have his smex picture up there ♥

Before I wrapped this up though, lemme just say that Korra pretty much fucked up everything, doesn't she? Oh well, at least she helped them with the semi-finals.

I can't wait to see them facing off with Tahno and his team.

First Impression: Hiiro no Kakera

I accidentally find out that Tomokazu Sugita is one of the seiyuu for the main character of this series and so I feel obligated to check this show out. I wasn't thrill that this is another harem-shoujo anime but I will (hopefully) persevere the first episode without having to rage quit.

who lets the bishies out?
(c) Kazuki Yone
Hiiro no Kakera or Scarlet Fragment in English is about Tamaki Kasuga, a young girl who apparently has the Tamayori Princess blood running in her. As such, it is her duty to take over her grandmother's job as head of the temple which means she has to seal the Onikimaru so that the Gods who have turned into ghost won't be a nuisance to the real world. As a princess, Tamaki has four bodyguards from the Shugogo House: Takuma Onizaki, Yuuichi Komura, Mahiro Atori and Suguru Oomi. In short, they are her future harem.

Because this series is classified as romance shoujo, I expect some love triangle and what not. Personally I want Tamaki to end up with Takuma because I'm biased towards that male character for obvious reason. Heh. There would also be some dorama since there are apparently villains in this series as well.

Does this considered as bestiality?
(c) pixiv id 3128153
The arts and animation for this series are average at best. The character designs are pretty generic but hey, the bishies still look good no matter what. A few times, I thought that the animations were rather disjointed from one scene to the other and wasn't smooth at all. Given that there are so many studios involved for this project, I expected something with better quality.

But I guess they spent a lot on seiyuu which makes this show rather enjoyable to watch. I can't really comment on the OP and ED though because I'm watching the preview episode where Marie Miyake (seiyuu for Tamaki) and Kousuke Okano (seiyuu for Mahiro - I have never heard of him before tbh) were introducing the anime with so much gusto.

For some reason, I rather enjoyed watching this first episode. At least I wasn't annoyed which says a lot considering the genre of this show. Will I watch this? Perhaps. One thing for sure, this series won't be toss to my anishit list.

Jin to Neko wa Yobu to Konai (NSFW)

Reading yaoi in the middle of afternoon is a tell tale sign that shit in life is not going according to plan. My choice for this afternoon is Jin to Neko wa Yobu to Konai. Fuh what a mouthful. This is a side story of one of the yaoi I have read earlier... Let see if I can remember which one was it... Oh yeah it's Kojitsusei no Tobira. It was good so I expect the same greatness for this one.

NOW KISS!

Jin and Cat Won't Come When Called is the english translated title for this one. It featuring Jin who appeared in the manga I reviewed above as a side character, an informant. This story of he and his best friend Mari takes place a few months and maybe years after that manga. These two friends have been together since childhood. Mari now live as a hired assassin while Jin, like I said, is an informant. They aren't gay for each other. At least not yet.

As the story goes, Jin fall for a kid who is the brother of his enemy, who is another informant. Mari does not like where this is going, knowing that when Jin gets serious, he gets confused as fuck. Jin however does not appreciate Mari's concern and for a moment they drifted apart. Mari was right though since Jin still sleeps around just to gather info. He knew that Jin will get hurt sooner rather than later. Mari on the other hand is living with Pippi, who is some sort of his pet so to say. That poor guy has been castrated and he is neither a he nor a she. Mari took him in when he has no place left to go and so Pippi often pretended to be Mari's boyfriend whenenever there are people who are interested in Mari showed up at their doorstep. That people in question is Mari's partner Yusuke who have fucked him once in Colombia but that's more like raped than anything else since Mari was so out of this world that he can barely move. So you see, Mari hated this guy for a reason. But Yusuke is not going to give up. He will have his way with Mari... and fuck it was a good smex!

ALLTHEFAPS!

*cough*

Most of the story is viewed from Mari's point of view and for some reason I always find my heart aches for Mari. He might be the loneliest guy I have ever seen in a manga. It seems that Mari and Jin belong to each other but like I have said they are quite denial of that fact. How the fuck is that supposed to work out? I am not pleased that their story doesn't exactly has an ending but at the same time I'm satisfied with how their story was told. It torn me. But fuck it. I still wanna see them fuck each other senseless and not fuck someone else!

*sighs*

The story is only 2 chapters long though and the rest of 4 chapters are stand alone stories about other couples for our musing. I thought the mangaka should focus more on the real story of Jin and Mari but I guess leaving their story hanging could provide some gratification to an extend. We as the readers can do our own conclusion. I appreciate what the mangaka did with these individual stories though because the smex was kinda hot.

But I won't go into the details. Read it yourself.

Diary of a tard: Week 3, May 2012

Sunday, May 13

Continuing the Remember Love project, I have decided to rewatch Detroit Metal City, one of the anime included in my anime of the decade list. Episode 1 basically shows how conflicted Negishi is with his two identities, especially after he met Aikawa. It also introduced us to a line of extraordinary characters who will entertain us non-stop including the President.

she's awesome as fuck

Monday, May 14

Uchuu Kyoudai episode 3: Yes, I'm this behinds with the current season's episode but who cares. Anyhoo, Mutta is undergoing all sorts of JAXA grueling physical exam. Naturally some people were envious of him because he's Hibito's brother so they thought he knew all about the exams and what not. It gets to his head but that won't stop him. Serika-chan, the woman he has a crush on excels at every exam and she saw him in front of the spacesuit figure trying to look as if he's in that and she too ended up with a crush on him because he reminded her of her father.

Episode 2 of Detroit Metal City: Negishi is fucked up. He said he dislike being Krauser but when someone belittle his ability as a musician when he's normal, or when he's drunk, he has no qualm to be Krauser even in public. He "rape" a policewomen and "assaulted" a cop for that. If you asked me, I say he has bi-polar disorder.

Oh you!

Tuesday, May 15

It looks like Yuki has accepted the fact that Haru is an alien in episode 4 of Tsuritama. He has a lot on his plate as he deals with Haru's antics up till the point that he can't take it anymore. He pretty much tell Haru to stay away of which Haru did. This just to make Yuki realizes Haru's presence as a friend is quite essential and Haru on the other hand learns that he needs to be more sensitives around human. Yuki, Haru and Natsuki have started fishing in the ocean where Yuki managed to catch a sea bass. All of these events were witnessed by Akira. He wondered if Haru came just to make friends. It is always interesting to see things from his point of view.

Yurumates 3D episode 6: This time they are in Kumi's room (though you can't tell a difference) and decided to play "split the watermelon". As usual Kumi trolled them all, first using the wooden stick and then she took it to another whole level: with a knife. As you probably know you have to close your eyes for this game, so just imagine the Matsuchiki, Sae and Yurume's reaction when they saw her with a knife blind-folded. Kumi should never be trusted with pointed object. Never ever.

Thursday, May 17

Episode 5 of Tsuritama: Yuki decided to buy his own fishing gears so they went shopping at Masaki. Akira was there too. Fishing is not a cheap hobby by the way. I should know. My dad is crazy about fishing. So naturally as a high school boy Yuki have problems coming up with the money to buy decent gears so Natsuki suggested that the three of them work with Ayumi, the captain. Once again Yuki transformed. He was timid on day one at sea but after admiring Natsuki as well as thankful for Ayumi's confidence in him, he changed. Yuki has no problem to shout out greetings now, so unlike him from the first episode. We can also see changes in Natsuki. He is no longer emo and smiles a lot more nowadays. As for Akira, he followed them on the boat and was surprisingly into fishing himself. He is still in denial that he needs friends though. Basically, I just love the character developments in this show.

Another warrior appeared in episode 2 of Sengoku Collection. She's Ieyasu who for some reason love to sing and dance. She tried her luck couple of times but she was rejected because they think she stands out too much. She was lucky though that Rosary's (the top idol - hot as fuck) manager saw her and signed her. After training and such, she became an idol, even beating Rosary from the top spot. Because of this, she chose to stay on our world and willingly gave her Secret Treasures to Nobunaga when she came to take it by hook or by crook.

Kimi to Boku episode 11: Yukki is collecting bread sticker to get a free plate. That's how he met the daughter of the woman who runs the cafeteria at their school. It's pretty obvious that Yukki is infatuated by her though he denies it vocally when Yuuta mentioned her. On the other hand, Chizuru's feelings for Masaki deepens. He even asked Shun directly if he likes someone at the moment. I wish him the best of luck. I love the subtlety that the show used when it comes to the matter of the hearts but it always near damn breaks my heart whenever these boys seem to like a female counterpart. I want them all to my self T_T

it has been a while since I saw these guys ♥

Friday, May 18

I start reading another yaoi manga today: Comedy Evolves by Love. I like what I read for the first couple of pages. Hane Hajime just broke up with his girlfriend. Heartbroken (but not really) he went for a drink. The next thing he knew, he was in bed, with his butt hurt and was greeted by twin. They had a threesome (or so he thought) and he has no recollection of it. Somehow he promised the twin to help them out and that he did. Since he has nowhere to go, he lives with them and that's how he develops his feelings towards Miyoshi. Problem is Miyoshi is married to the lady boss and straight as an arrow. It was Ryouji who fucked him before and again after that. Not that he remembers because he was always too drunk. But obviously as time passes by, Hane finds himself switching from Miyoshi to Ryouji. However there is bound to be dorama and because this is a comedy, it was really fun seeing the characters sorting their problems out.

Sengoku Collection episode 3: Thank goodness Inushinde and Illogicalzen warned me that episodes without Nobunaga were meh so I don't raged for no reason. It was melodramatic shit with Kenshi and Katsunage than I don't give a shit about. Conclusion of the episode is they both wanted to stay in this world thus willingly gave Nobunaga their Secret Treasures.

In episode 4 of Sengoku Collection, the pace picks up again because hey, Date Masamune always managed to do that regardless what gender s/he is. Also, s/he always looks so freaking hawt. In this episode, Masamune was tricked by a drug lord and was sent to prison which she later escaped and seeks revenge. When Nobunaga came to challenge her for the Secret Treasures, Masamune decline, saying that she takes a rain check on that fight. Nobunaga agreed since the police have already surrounded the area. They both flee the scene of the crime.

I'd fap to this, if I'm a male

Remembering Love: Loving Another Human Being in Honey and Clover

This post is part of the Remembering Love project by Trazor. That two words - "remembering love" makes me remember this one show: Honey and Clover, with fond memories.

When I first saw Honey and Clover, I was 24 years old. An age where people considered you as an adult and expect you to act accordingly. Back then I was a hikki. Though I have steady income from free-lance writing, I didn't do much with my life. I chose to shunt society and spent all of my time cooped up in my room watching anime and what not. That was the time when I started to drift apart from my friends.

Up until then I was living irresponsibly. I didn't give a damn about friends, or other people around me. In simpler words, I was behaving like an adolescence teenager. I thought that the whole world is against me. I blamed everything and everyone else when shit didn't go according to what I wanted. As far as I am concern, I was always right. I was selfish. And love? Pffft, I thought it was overrated which made me pushed everyone who genuinely cares about me away.

Honey and Clover made me mused on the concept of friendship and the meaning of life/love. There is no epic quest to fulfill, no convoluted conspiracy to unlock, no childhood friend to win over—it's just a bunch of college kids figuring out what to do with their lives, and since I was struggling to find my path in life at that time, I found the show more than fascinating. Watching Honey and Clover, in a way, kind of open my eyes of what I have been missing and helped me set my priorities straight.

When I think of Honey and Clover, the thing that comes to mind is this one word: LOVE.

Love another human being. In other words: fall in love.

Noticed that I didn't say "be loved". And that's in my opinion where the beauty of this show lies.

If you pay any attention, modern society nowadays is anti-love, and I was part of that society not too long ago. It far easier to find a reason not to love someone than otherwise because we rather take a microscope to everyone and bring out all their flaws and shortcomings. Honey and Clover makes me reevaluates all these.

The intricate relationship/friendship in Honey and Clover is to be admired. Friendship and love are the two main themes in Honey and Clover that I would probably remember till my memories failed me. The show is a great teacher for me personally when it involves in dealing with human and their feelings. It teaches me that trust needs to be earned, even among friends. It tells me that love comes in all sorts of forms. It is something that is not only inspiring but should be able to liberate yourself as well. We should never use love as an excuse to shackle ourselves down. Love, after all is what you make of it. Happiness, though not truly dependent on other people but yourself, is something that is best shared. That goes for heart aches and all other worldly worries too. These are the things that made us human after all, the ability to feel and think (respond) accordingly.

There is no half-measure when it comes to loving someone. It's either you don't or you do with every cell in your body, completely and utterly, without reservation or apology. It consumes you, and you are reborn, all the better for it. All the characters in this show are committed to their loves, regardless. Ayumi, Takemoto and Mayama are the great examples who showed us that it is no great tragedy if your love is not reciprocated. You are not doing it to be loved back (though it would definitely be great if it is). Rejection, though hurts like hell, is not the end of the world. Take the opportunity to let the value of that love itself to inspire you. After all, in the act of loving someone, we become inspired to better ourselves in every way.

So you see, through love (and to certain extend, through Honey and Clover as well), we celebrate being human...

That ladies and gentlewomen, are the reasons why Honey and Clover will remain as one of my most favorite anime of all time. If you haven't seen it yet, it is best that you take the time to watch it. It is just not another of your average slice-of-life anime. I promised.

TL;DR?

Though this post sounds cheesy as fuck, I am still glad that I write it. Just in the mood I guess...

First Impression: Sengoku Collection

Some people told me to skip this show after I complained at how bad Medaka Box was but I made a promise to myself to check all the anime before I pass my final judgment because sometimes, I can make a mistake. After all, I have always been fascinated by the Sengoku era. So... without further delay, let see what this show has in store for me.

that must be the happiest whale alive
(c) Ichi Makoto

Just know though that I was mentally prepared to rage at the slightest shit I saw but 3 minutes in I found myself enjoying the show. This is important because I usually can tell whether or not the rest of the show is going to be shitty by the first 2 minutes (minus the OP that is). After 5 minutes in, I was laughing. That done it for me. A show that can makes me laugh is a good show in my book. That's good enough reason to like it.

Sengoku Collection is about Oda Nobunaga who goes into our world through some dimensional shift or whatever. She met a guy (for the live of me, I can't seem to recall his name) and stayed with him for this first episode but it seems like she's leaving him so she can find other warriors who are apparently got shifted to our world as well. She needs to find them all because three shrine maidens promised her that she could go back to her time if she can find the Secret Treasure that has enough power to do just that. I sensed that these three shrine maidens are bluffing. They must have their own agenda.

Anyway, I found myself not even care about the ecchiness. Part of this is because the Nobunaga character really embodies Nobunaga. She wasn't flaunting her assets on purpose. She is just being who she is, unaware of her surroundings. For example, when she interacted with that guy she was with, the ecchi didn't really take anything away because it wasn't force down our throats but rather it was made in passing, almost casually.

So far, I love the chemistry between Nobunaga and that guy she's with. Their characters have such good balance; which make them incredibly good couple when they are together. I hope there will be some romantic feelings involved between these two. It would be a waste if there is not.

To be honest, I sort of facepalming at the start of the episode when I saw the attire Nobunaga is wearing. That is definitely not from Sengoku era but as the show progress, I find myself not giving a fuck about it because the story was interesting enough to make me forget such trivial matters.

Oh wow, I am singing praises! and I'm not done yet. Besides all that I have mentioned above, another element that keep me interested is the overall art and animation of the show. The colors are vibrant (not Tsuritama's vibrant but vibrant nonetheless), the backgrounds are details and the character designs are interesting. I like how it all just comes together. It kinda like seeing your watercolor pictures get animated. Fun indeed.

I am so glad that I stick to my promise and didn't dismiss this show without giving it a chance. This is a great  example at how I love it when a show proved me wrong. Sengoku Collection is far from being a bad series. Though it is light hearted, it is not pointless. It has a plot. I haven't found anything that displeases me yet so all is good.

First Impression: Medaka Box

I am in the process of eliminating all possible shitty anime from Spring season. Upotte!! has already been cut down. However, I was proven wrong about my initial judgment for Shirokuma Cafe. Now let see where does Medaka Box stands. Will it remain in the anishit list or get a promotion?

I have got this sinking feeling that it would be the former. I saw that this show is categorized as ecchi among many things. Urgh, I seriously don't look forward to this but lets get this done and over with.

Medaka Box is about Medaka, a slut voluptuous first year who becomes a Student Council President because she sleeps around is just that awesome at everything. She promised to attend to any suggestions/challenges/etc that are inserted in the Student Council Suggestion Box. She forces her childhood friend Zenkichi to help her out (while only in bra and underwear - like I said, a slut). Of course he can't say no when she asked while wearing nothing but undergarments!

The first mission was to restore the kendo dojo which she did single handedly. I wasn't even paying attention to the shit. I just can't. It was too much cock and bull.

After 16 minutes, I couldn't take it anymore. And thus this show will be included in my anishit list like I have predicted it would.Everything about it is mediocre from the arts and animation to the OP song as well as the overall plot and story.

I'm done.

Bleach: Chapter 492

I actually lol'd pretty hard at the start of the chapter. The shinigami terrified by Allon? LOL When did that happen? Jeebus... consistency now Kubo... consistency... don't lost it yet... It just feels as if Kubo trying to convince us how bad ass Allon is but I'm just not buying it. Not when I know they have lost in the hands of the shinigami in the last arc.

Speaking of shinigami, guess who Kubo decided to introduce this time around? It's the 6th seat officer of the 13th Division. Oh god, I can still feel the excitement whenever Kubo introduce us to a new shinigami. They can still makes my heart skips a bit. I guess that means I still have some hope left for this series...

he looks like Kira's twin brother

Kajoumaru gives Yuki and that another annoying female shinigami a quick lesson as to what's the difference between Quincy and Shinigami. We already knew this but I guess it won't hurt for Kubo to remind us of the reasons, to make it believable why these two races hated each other. I still blame it on the shinigami though for (attempted to) annihilate the Quincy just because they operate differently. I say that they reaped what the sow and by all means, I blame it on the old fuck for failing to kill Buckbeard 200 moons ago.

Who gives a fuck about all that balancing shit stuff anyway?

Oh yes, we should since it threatens the balance of the world >_>

he's so wise too

Back in Hueco Mundo, it seems like Allon has the upper hand though knowing Kubo I know it will be short-lived. Inoue and Chad, the two most useless characters were actually sympathizing with Opie. Such morons that they are.

Anyway, like I predicted, Opie was unbeatable. In the next chapter, those three bitches of Hallibel might be killed for real this time (can we say Amen to that?) and so Opie's real battle with Ichigo will begin. After all, Kubo is just delaying the fight just so Ichigo could see and learn of his opponent's ability. Otherwise it would seems like Kubo might overkill it with Ichigo's next plotkai.

You can be damn sure that he'll have one >_>

First Impression: Shirokuma Cafe

In my preview for the season, I included this show in the anishit list, thinking that it is nothing more than just another children oriented anime. Can you blame me though? It is an anime about animals. I usually have problem taking anime such as this seriously. But maybe this show is not meant to be taken seriously.

From the anime blogsphere's reaction so far, it somehow managed impressed them all. So here I am checking it out of obligation to myself and see whether they have bad taste or I passed judgement too fast.

And it is certainly the latter because though it was not extraordinary, it is certainly not shit.

Shirokuma Cafe, or also known as the Polar Bear's Cafe is indeed a story about some animals who lives among human. When I said live, I mean it. They talk and walk and have a home and a job just like us humans. As the name suggested, the story revolves around Polar Bear's cafe where these animals (some who works at the zoo literally as they are) and humans hang out together.

Panda and Polar Bear. Apparently public's fav OTP >_>

There are three prominent animals in this show: Polar Bear, the owner of the cafe who loves pun; Panda, his lazy ass young neighbor from next door and; Penguin who seems like the most loyal customer of the cafe and good friend of Polar Bear. I find myself more attracted to Polar Bear and Penguin's friendship. Or maybe I'm just biased towards Hiroshi Kamiya =3=

Speaking of seiyuu, I figured that there would be quite a few people who will watch this show for the seiyuu. Perhaps I am one of them retards. I don't have a clue that the characters are voiced by really good (and some are among my favorites) male seiyuu. Should I have given more attention about these details, I wouldn't have waited this long to check this show out. As I've said above, Penguin stood out the most for me because of his seiyuu. The same goes for Panda. They are both made of HHHHHNNNNNGH! It was a perfect match for both.

I have to congratulate the art and animation team from Studio Peirrot for the job well done. I know it must have not been easy to draw and animate expression on animals' faces but I think they managed to capture the emotions brilliantly without these animal losing their animalistic traits. They also have their human-like traits given the nature of the show but I am glad that they still managed to look cute and cuddly at the same time. I just wish they would have given equal effort at designing the human characters lol

When I first heard the OP, I immediately thought that it was sang by Big Bang, a K-Pop group that often sing Japanese songs. It certainly sounds like it could be one of their songs. It is catchy and I like it a lot already. As for the ED, it has that Jun-Fukuyama-being-moe feels to it. I REJECT!

But I am not letting that bad ED gets to me.

Because the humor of Shirokuma Cafe works for me. They don't force it down my throat in which they are pretty similar to the comedy of "Kill Me Baby" or "Daily Lives of High School Boys". Aside from that, this show don't have much to offer. Just like the two examples, it is just as pointless. Having said that, it doesn't mean that it is not enjoyable.

So ladies and gentlewomen, I stand corrected about this show.

Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Episode 4

It's actually bad that I am losing interest with this new batch of Avatar but I'm not going to give up on it so here I am writing an episodic for an American cartoon, because I've told myself I will no longer write episodic for anime since it is just too much work for me. I wrote all my posts for my own satisfaction and I think I can be just as satisfied by using my tard diary. That shit needs to be fully utilized.

(c) tooaya

Korra was obviously disturbed by Amon's surprising ability because, lets face it, what Amon said in her dream was right. If he managed to take away her bendings, then she will be nothing but a spoiled brat who knows a bit of martial arts. From what I have seen so far, Korra loves the attention and the recognitions that she got as an avatar so I figured, she would probably lost it if she lose her ability to bend.

The old ladies and gentlemen who are at the top of the governing body for Republic City have voted to create a new task force to deal with Amon and the Equalist, much to the dismay of Tenzin who was the only one who disagreed with Tarrlok. It is obvious that Tarrlok is just another scumbag politician who smells like a lady and hungry for power and will only bring more harm than  peace. I won't even be surprised if Amon managed to disbending him. Yeah, I just created a new word: disbending. >_>

Just as Tenzin feared, Amon accepted the challenge and shit will get far worst. Even more so since Tarrlok is trying to convince Korra to join him. I said trying because Korra refused the first time he asked. Like I said, for the first time, Korra learn what fear means. She didn't even go to practice with Bolin and Mako with the excuse of training to be the airbender.

But Tarrlok didn't give up. He sent gifts and finally invited Korra to the gala that he is hosting for her. This is the first time I saw Korra without pants and a pony tail. I must admit, she does looks sorta attractive. I actually like her more now that she feels vulnerable like anyone else. It makes her human and not just as an avatar. Even more so when she saw Mako with Asami at the gala.

I got a feeling that this gala is the perfect opportunity for Amon to show up and ran havoc. But that didn't happen. Tarrlok used the gala to push Korra over the edge and consequently agreeing to help him with the task force. Like I said, scumbag.

They quickly raided an underground training center for the Equalist. And just like that, Korra became an ignorant bender again and challenged Amon for a face off, just the two of them. I facepalm. HARD. Obviously Amon gets the upper-hand. I was even applauding him when he managed to catch Korra off guard. Thankfully though (or was it?) he didn't disbending Korra but fuck he's a scary nut job.

but wait! during her moment of distress we got to see the face of adult Sokka, Bei Fong and Aang! This was the best moment of the entire show for me! I mean, fuck look at Sokka! *drooling*

Adult Sokka is hhhhhhnnngh ~♥

Adult young Aang

Toph

On a lighter note, Mako had an accident with and foxy lady. I didn't know he was into mature lady (I am assuming she's older than him because she really does looks older, doesn't she?). This I am fully supportive of. Heh. And what do you know... that foxy lady is ASIAN! Japanese to be exact. Explains a lot imo. Also, because of his interaction with Asami, I just noticed that Mako actually sounds very sleazy...

So Asami brought Mako out on a date the next day. Mako had a make over courtesy of Asami but still he refused to let the red scarf go. What the fuck is up with that? STOP BEING A LADY. But that's besides the point. The point is, Asami is the daughter of Hiroshi Sato, supposedly one of the richest man in Republic City. Knowing that Mako might not make it to the probending tourney because of financial problem, Asami offered to help but not without a catch.

But Mako doesn't care. He accepted it gladly which made me feels so disappointed in him for selling out like that. Regardless, I don't see these two lovebirds happening. Nuh-uh.

Remembering Love: Detroit Metal City

When someone mentioned Detroit Metal City (DMC), one thing always come to my mind: the obscenity and the absurd amount of cussing. Both of which are the reasons why I freaking love this show. I mean, I. FUCKING. LOVED. IT! To some, it might be the exact reason why you hated it but hey, each to his/her own, though I personally think you are a retarded fuck who doesn't appreciate great humors.

(c) pixiv id 843933

DMC is something that is extraordinarily unique for me. I still have not seen any other anime who have the balls to do whatever the hell it wants, from cussing none stop to some very obscene scenes including dry humping the Tokyo Tower and showing babies burn in hell. It talks about rape and bondage in a very candid manners that might offended few people but does the show cares? NO. It gratifies itself by doing what any other anime considered taboo or inappropriate. When I said these two words, I don't mean incest, yaoi and yuri because Japanese animation never really lack any of those. What I was referring to is simply the crass route that it has chosen and god damn it, it freaking works.

Most of the cursing come from a single lady known as the President. I think she's awesome. She said fuck to everything and is very honest with how she feels (sounds familiar?). She dance to DMC with dripping cunt and get wet by just from listening to some of the songs. Her previews for the next episode are one of the things that I look forward to the most. It never stop to amuse me just how many cussing she can come up with. It's some sort of a feat in itself.

The characters of this shows are what makes it brilliant. The interactions between them were executed with perfect timing and wit. Aside from the few good characters like Aikawa and Negishi parents, all the other characters are morally corrupted. I mean, literally. There's no sugarcoating any shit.

And it shouldn't come as a surprised. As you can tell by now, there are lots of shits that are morally and ethically wrong in this show. An old masochist man working as bondage pig on the stage is one of the immoral things that you will see. You will see him wearing nothing but a leather spandex, with hands and feet both tied up. He was also gagged. It can be disturbing especially he really does looks like a fugly pig. You definitely want to unsee what you have just seen. Then there's the incident where Krauser fucking "rape" the policewoman in public and assaulted a cop.

After all, Krauser is a legend who killed his parent after he raped them and yet, he is adores by many.

That's how fucked up Detroit Metal City is. But I have only these to say:

GO TO DMC! GO TO DMC!

So I guess the reason I am writing this post, apart from participating in the Remember Love in the month of May project, it is also because I want to introduce this greatness to those who haven't seen it yet. WHAT THE FUCK IS FUCKING WRONG WITH YOU FUCKING RETARDS? GO FUCKING WATCH IT NOW? GO MUG PEOPLE IF YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY TO BUY THE DVD!

Back in 2008, I also introduced this greatness to my minions at the office. Whenever new episode was out and ready for viewing, I used the meeting room and we watched it on the big screen using projectors. I managed to corrupt the minds of my minions and established myself as the fucking President. We ended up using all sorts of DMC reference that we have learned in the show in our everyday life and when we talked among ourselves. It even continues with my friends from the Gotei 13. This lasted for quite a while. Fun times indeed.

Like the President used to say: YOU WILL GET SO WET YOU WILL NEED DIAPERS! FUCK!
